보육교사가 지각하는 학부모와 의사소통의 어려움이 영유아와 상호작용에 미치는 영향: 보육교사의 자아존중감의 매개효과 (Child Care Teachers' Difficulties Communicating with Parents and How It Affects Teacher-Child Interactions: The Mediating Effects of Teachers' Self-Esteem)

  • Objective: This study examined the mediating effects of child care teachers' self-esteem in the relationship between teachers' difficulties communicating with parents and teacher-child interactions. Methods: A total of 450 child care teachers answered questionnaires based on three research variables. Data were analyzed using SEM. Results: First, child care teachers' difficulties communicating with parents had a direct effect on teacher-child interactions. That is, child care teachers who experienced more difficulties communicating with parents showed more negative teacher-child interactions. Second, child care teachers' difficulties communicating with parents had an indirect effect on teacher-child interactions through teachers' self-esteem. In other words, when child care teachers experienced more difficulties communicating with parents, their self-esteem was lower, which led to increased negative teacher-child interactions. Conclusion/Implications: This study highlights the importance of effective communication between child care teachers and parents. In addition, these findings contribute to a better understanding of the mechanism by which child care teachers' difficulties communicating with parents influence teacher-child interactions.

아동의 방과후 보육 생활 만족도 척도 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Scale Measuring Life Satisfaction of After-School Child Care)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scale to measure the life satisfaction of after-school classes. For this purpose, utilizing the theoretical background and the findings of previous studies, 147 questions from eight factors were selected for the 1st draft and 67 questions were selected for the 2nd draft by reviewing the validity of the contents after consulting with eleven professionals. A preparatory survey and factor analysis was then conducted using 291 people and a total of 32 questions were extracted from four sub-factors. Exploratory factor analysis by principal component analysis was conducted and orthogonal rotation was conducted by means of the VARIMAX method. The reliability of the class environment, operation management, program and teacher relationship sector were found to be very high. It is suggested that this study can be of great benefit in developing a child-centered scale and it's reliability was also found to be high.

  • 인공지능 기술의 발달로 현대사회 사람들은 일상생활에 편리함을 제공받고 업무의 효율성과 생산성이 향상되었다. 대한민국 보육교사들은 수많은 업무로 인해 근무시간 대비 휴식시간과 점심시간이 턱없이 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 보육교사가 일일이 아동들의 사진을 분류하는 업무에 편의성을 제공하여 보다 많은 휴식시간을 보장받고 활용할 수 있도록 전이학습을 통한 아동 이미지 자동 분류 시스템에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 이 시스템을 통해 분류된 아동들의 사진을 매년 제작하는 유아 포토북 제작에도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

다문화 아동과 일반 아동의 발달 및 어린이집 부적응행동 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis on the Development and Maladaptive Behavior at Daycare Centers by Children of Multicultural and Non-multicultural Family Background)

  • 이 연구는 다문화 아동의 발달수준 및 어린이집 부적응행동 실태를 확인하기 위하여 경기도 김포시와 안산시에 소재한 34개 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 3-5세의 다문화 아동과 일반 아동 203명을 대상으로 WSS 발달적 체크리스트와 유아교육기관 생활적응행동검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 다문화 아동이 일반 아동에 비하여 인성 및 사회성, 언어 및 읽고 쓰기 영역에서 발달수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났으나 수리적 사고와 과학적 사고 발달에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연령별로는 3세에서는 다문화 아동과 일반 아동 간 발달의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 4세와 5세에서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 다문화 아동과 일반 아동의 어린이집 부적응행동 수준에는 차이가 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 하위영역별로 어린이집 적응 수준을 살펴보면 다문화 아동이 일반 아동에 비하여 또래협력 항목에서는 적응수준이 낮게 나타났으나 개인사회기술과 환경적응, 활동적응 영역에서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 발달과 어린이집 부적응행동의 관계를 살펴본 결과 아동의 발달 수준이 낮을수록 어린이집에 부적응하는 것으로 나타났으며, 발달 영역 중 '인성 및 사회성'영역의 발달이 아동의 어린이집 부적응행동을 가장 잘 예측해주는 변인인 것으로 나타났다.

예비 및 현직 보육교사의 영아발달에 관한 지식 실태 (Knowledge About Infant Development of Pre-service and In-service Child Care Teachers)

  • The purpose of the study was to assess the knowledge of infant development of child care teachers, undergraduate students majoring in child development at universities, and the students at child care training centers. A questionnaire was distributed to 126 in-service and 187 pre-service child care teachers. Data were analyzed by t-test, F-test, Correlation. The results showed that the mean scores of subjects on the Knowledge of Infant Development Inventory (KIDI) were relatively low. Among the 3 groups of subjects, child care teachers had the lowest scores on the KIDI. There were individual differences in the knowledge of infant development by school year, the length of work experience, marital status, age of child, attendance at in-service training events, and kind of license.

어린이집 보육교사의 효능감, 전문성에 대한 인식이 보육과정 수행에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Nursing Teacher's Efficacy and Professionalism on Childhood Curriculum Performance)

  • Objective: This study examined the effect of early childhood teachers' perceptions of teacher efficacy and professionalism, which are personal traits, when administering the National Childcare Curriculum. Methods: Using snowball sampling, data were collected from 266 childcare center teachers in the nation and were analyzed using one-way analyses of variance and multiple regression using SPSS 14.0. Results and Conclusion: The findings are as the following: First, teacher efficacy was not significantly different among teachers by age, teaching experience, education, and childcare center type. Second, teacher efficacy was significantly related to the perception of their professionalism. Lastly, teachers' perceptions of teacher efficacy and professionalism explained significantly the variance in teachers' performance when administering the National Childcare Curriculum.

장애아 보육교사의 전문성 인식과 직무스트레스의 관계 (Awareness of Professionalism and Job Stress in Child-Care Teachers of Children with Special Needs)

  • This study defined awareness of professionalism and job stress in 353 child-care teachers of children with special needs and analyzed the relative contribution of professional awareness to job stress. Teachers showed high awareness of 'ethics' and 'enthusiasm enhancing professionalism', and this awareness correlated highly with professionalism in the 'specialized knowledge and skills' sub-factors. Teachers showed high levels of stress in the 'general duty' and the 'guidance of children with special needs' categories, and this correlated highly with stress caused by 'child-care center management.' The results of canonical correlation analysis indicated that of professionalism sub-factors only the awareness of 'social services' contributed positively to job stress.

영유아 보육프로그램 실태 분석 연구 (An Analysis of Edu-care Programs in Korean Day Care Centers)

  • This study analyzed Korean edu-care programs for young children, including such parameters as educational planning and management, instructional materials, health, social life, expressiveness, language, and discovery. Using a questionnaire consisting of 170 items developed for the study, 830 parents evaluated the programs of 200 day care centers which their young children were attending Results showed that the programs serving children from birth through 2 years of age need to be better tailored to their developmental level by months of age, and the quality of programs for 3- to 5-year-olds needs to be enhanced. Suggestions were presented for the improvement of edu-care programs.

보육의 특성에 따른 유아의 코티솔 패턴 (Children's Cortisol Patterning at ChildCare Centers)

  • This study examined cortisol patterning in 160 children(79 boys, 81 girls; aged 4-5) attending twelve childcare centers in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. Saliva samples for the assay of cortisol were collected twice a day at 10 : 30 am and 3 : 30 pm. Saliva samples were collected again within a week after the first collection. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The cortisol level of the afternoon showed neither increase nor decrease compared to morning. Regression analysis indicated that time children spent at childcare centers accounted for increased afternoon cortisol levels; that is, higher levels of afternoon cortisol were associated with more hours per day at childcare centers.

스웨덴 보육의 배경과 현황 (Background and Present State of Swedish Child-care System)

  • Sweden has one of the world's most progressive and comprehensive childcare systems; synonymous with quality, it is the envy of many other countries. The purpose of this study was to investigate background factors important to the development of the Swedish childcare system and the current childcare policy and system. This study found that underpinning the Swedish childcare system is not only the expectation that men and women will participate equally in the workforce, child rearing, and domestic life but also an awareness of the right of children to development and education. Implementation of the Swedish childcare policy has provided for easy access and affordable childcare centers following principles of childcare universalism. This provides practical suggestions for the Korean childcare policy and system.
