본 고에서는 상황 인식(Context-Awareness)의 의미와 관련 기술을 소개하고, 상황 인식에 바탕을 두고 있는 상황 인식 보안(Context-Aware Security) 기술 동향을 살펴본 다음 그 응용 예를 알아본다. 상황 인식에 관한 연구는 국내외적으로 상당한 연구가 진행되어 왔지만, 상황 인식 기술을 컴퓨터 보안에 응용하는 상황 인식 보안 연구는 최근에야 시작되었기 때문에 본 고를 준비하는데 어려움이 있었다.

In the information age, the rapid development of information technology provides people with an enriching experience yet also causes them harm because of information security (IS) issues. The IS of smartphones faces great challenges. Although many studies on IS awareness have been conducted, most of them have focused on PCs and do not consider the security issues of smartphones. In this study, we focus on those factors that affect IS awareness for both PCs and smartphones. We also analyze the differences in the impacts of certain factors on PCs and smartphones based on the proposed research model. The results are summarized as follows. First, the understanding of security technique, understanding of IS threat, and IS education have significant impacts on IS awareness for PCs and smartphones, while IS intention has a significant impact on IS awareness for PCs but not for smartphones. Moreover, IS policy has no significant impact on IS awareness. Second, PCs and smartphones show no significant differences in IS awareness, IS threat, and IS intention, but show significant differences in understanding of security technique, IS education, and IS policy.

생체정보를 이용한 인식 기술의 사회적 요구가 빠르게 증대함에 따라 생체인식 기술에 대한 신뢰성에 대한 요구 역시 급속하게 증대되고 있다. 생체인식 기술에 대한 신뢰성은 생체인식시스템의 인식률에 대한 시험과 생체인식시스템에 대한 보안성 시험을 통해 보장될 수 있다. 보안성 시험은 크게 시스템 내부 및 외부 공격에 대한 안전성 등에 대한 일련의 항목들에 대해 시험을 한다. 이러한 보안성 시험에 대해 국외의 경우 자국기준 또는 공통평가기준에 따라 지문인식시스템을 포함한 생체인식시스템에 대한 보안성 시험을 수행되고 있으나 국내에서는 이에 대한 연구가 아직 미진한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 제시하는 지문인식시스템의 보안성 평가 방법론은 지문인식시스템을 시험할 때 어떤 면을 고려하여 시험해야 하는지에 대한 지침을 제공하기 위한 것이라 할 수 있다.

정보통신의 발전으로 많은 정보들이 디지털화되면서 각종 시설과 개인영역 등에 대한 보안의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 이와 관련해서 보안을 위한 신원확인과 인증 기술들이 소개되고 있으며 그 중 하나의 방법으로 생체인식이 중요한 기술로 자리 잡고 있다. 본 논문에서는 생체인식에 관해 알아보고 생체인식의 단점을 보완한 다중 생체인식의 기술과 어느 보안수단보다도 적극적인 보안수단으로 가치를 평가받고 있는 ‘무형 인프라’위에서 또 하나의 인프라로 잡아가는 PKI 이 두가지 기술을 결합하여 새로운 보안수단으로서의 방향에 관해 연구하였다.

국내 기업의 30%가 사내 중요 정보가 외부로 유출된 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 신도리코에서 실시한 '기업 문서 보안 실태 및 인식조사' 결과, 응답자의 30.3%가 정보 유출 경험이 있다고 답했다. 특히 이번 설문조사 결과 100명 이상의 대기업과 제조업, 금융.보험업 등에서 정보유출 경험이 더 많은 것으로 조사됐다. '사내 보안 방법'에 대해서는 각각 69%가 답한 물리적 보안과 네트워크 보안에 집중돼 있는 반면 문서 보안 시스템을 구축했다는 응답자는 20.6%에 그쳤다. 응답자의 87.7%이 문서보안을 위한 추가적인 대비책이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 기업들은 문서 보안의 필요성은 공감을 하면서도 정작 문서 보안을 위한 충분한 대비책은 부족한 것으로 나타났다.

생체인식 정보관리 보안표준인 X9.84는 금융서비스에서 금융산업 서비스를 위하여 생체인식정보에 대한 안전한 운영관리를 목적으로 관리메커니즘 및 보안 고려사항 등을 정의하기 위하여 미국 ANSI에서 개발한 국가표준이다. 본 논문에서는 X.9.84에서 제시하는 적용범위, 준용표준, 관리 및 보안요구사항, Biometric 등록, 보안 고려사항 등을 분석하여 금융서비스, 전자상거래 등의 국내 사용자 인증서비스에 적용가능한 생체인식 보안표준으로 개발하기 위하여 준용사항과 암호학적 메커니즘 사용, 관리 및 보안요구 사항, Biometric 등록, 보안고려사항, 감사기록 형식 등의 국내 고려사항을 적용하여 국내 생체인식 정보관리 및 보안표준(K-X9.84)으로 개발하고자 한다.

Among the various services for mobile banking, user authentication method using bank security card is still very useful. We can use mobile banking easily and safely in case of saving encoded security codes in smart phone and entering codes automatically whenever user authentication is required without bank security card. In this paper automatic recognition algorithm of security codes of bank security card is proposed in oder to enroll the encoded security codes into smart phone using smart phone camera. Advanced adaptive binarization is used for extracting digit segments from various background image pattern and adaptive 2-dimensional layout analysis method is developed for segmentation and recognition of damaged or touched digits. Experimental results of proposed algorithm using Android and iPhone, show excellent security code recognition results.

우리나라에서도 정보 보안에 관한 인식이 이젠 과거와는 달리 많이 높아지고 있는 실정이며, 그래서 과거의 시스템 구축만으로 보안을 끝이라고 아는 인식보다는 보안의 사후 지속적인 관리가 더 중요하다고 인식하는 사례가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이에따라 구축해 놓은 보안 시스템을 24시간 감시해주고 모니터링 해주는 관제서비스 분야가 서서히 두각을 나타내고 있다.

Currently, despite having active movements related to port logistics security, there is lack of awareness, education, and security systems related to port technology. Before implementing port logistics security, a mutual authentication agreement should be reached through the establishment of an integrated network that can share port logistics security information in real time. In order to achieve port competitiveness and strengthen logistics service, establishment of national strategy for logistics security is necessary. However, there is an urgent need to raise the security consciousness among the port logistics organization members and enhance the information security ability which is a crucial feature of the port logistics organization. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the information security capacity of port logistics organization members. Even though the analysis rejected the hypothesis that security regulations affect security awareness, the security activities and security awareness were significantly correlated. It also has a positive impact on the relationship between security norms and security abilities, and security awareness and security abilities.

The purpose of the present study is to empirically examine factors that affect the information security awareness and perceived information security risk of employees of port companies. In particular, in order to identify factors that affect the perceived information security risks, we investigated the relation of assets, threats, and vulnerabilities to it, using the risk analysis methodology. With A total of 252 valid questionnaires, we also performed the structural equation modeling analysis using AMOS. It was found that first, there was no meaningful relationship between the information assets and the perceived information security risk in the case of employees of port companies. Second, threats and vulnerabilities turned out to have positive influences on the perceived information security risk. Finally, there was a positive relationship not only between the information security awareness and the information security education, but also between the information security awareness and the intention of information security. However, there was no meaningful relationship between the information security concern and the information security awareness.
