  • 현재 IoT 기기들은 일상생활에서 필수 가전기기가 되어가고 있다. 가정에서는 스마트홈으로 연결된 냉장고, 세탁기, 인공지능 스피커 등이 이미 많이 사용되고 있으며, 자율주행 차량과 키오스크 등 하루에도 매우 다양한 IoT 기기들을 가깝게 접하고 있다. 스마트 워치(Smart Watch)가 출시된 이후로는 IoT 기기가 매 순간 사용되며 사용자 개인정보와 사생활 등 중요하고 예민한 정보와 기업의 기밀 정보가 자동으로 기기에 저장되고 있다. 이러한 이유로 해커들의 타깃이 되어 새로운 해킹 수법이 발생하고 보안 취약점이 발견되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 기기에 관련하여 최근에 발생하는 해킹 사건들과 보안 취약점을 분석하고 이에 따른 대책을 알아보고자 한다.

  • Current security efforts provided in such as firewall or IDS (intrusion detection system) of the network level suffer from many vulnerabilities in internal computing servers. Thus the necessity of secure OS is especially crucial in today's computing environment. This paper identifies secure OS requirements, analyzes tile research trends for secure Linux in terms of security kernel, and provides the descriptions of the multi-level security(MLS) Linux kernel which we have implemented. This security kernel-based Linux meets the minimum requirements for TCSEC Bl class as well providing anti-hacking, real-time audit trailing, restricting of root privileges, and enterprise suity management functions.

  • US is strengthening the information security by managing federal agency's information and information system systematically. For this purpose. US government put the Federal Information Security Management Act into the E Government Act of 2002. According to the FISMA, it is required to have information securitv management plan for all federal agencies. In addition that, OMB Circular A II requires all federal agencies to identity the ratio of information security investment. That is the basis of strengthening the information security of federal agency, This paper will compare the budget status and information security mechanism of Korea and US.

  • The growth in computer use has ushered increased concerns of information security throughout the world. Historically, researchers interested in the security of information systems have long investigated extensively themselves with building technological countermeasures in order to prevent several information security problems. However, due to infusion of more procedures and logical or physical devices within the information environment, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, keeping IT environment safe demands a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon, which requires broadening information security far beyond the technical aspects. This study is aimed at proposing a information security framework from holistic view.

  • A current firewall or IDS (intrusion detection system) of the network level suffers from many vulnerabilities in internal computing servers. For a secure Linux implementation using system call hooking, this paper defines two requirements such as the multi-level security function of TCSEC B1 and a prevention of hacking attacks. This paper evaluates the secure Linux implemented in terms of the mandatory access control, anti-hacking and performance overhead, and thus shows the security, stability and availability of the multi-level secure Linux. At the kernel level this system protects various hacking attacks such as using Setuid programs, inserting back-door and via-attacks. The performance degradation is an average 1.18% less than other secure OS product.

  • While organizations are making a considerable effort to leverage formal and informal control mechanisms (e.g., policies, procedures, organizational culture) to improve security, their impact and effectiveness is under scrutiny as employees seldom comply with information security procedures. The best way to ensure the viability of a security policy is to make sure users understand it and accept necessary precautions. From an organization's perspective, a lack of security knowledge and awareness on the part of employees is a major problem. However, previous studies suggest that effect of security awareness education is inconsistent. Thus, this study is to find the answer why security awareness education is not effective. Conclusions and implications are discussed.

  • 모바일 오피스 확산과 함께 개인 소유의 스마트 폰, 태블릿PC 등을 업무 환경에 사용하는 BYOD 시대에 도래했다. BYOD 등장으로 기업 내부 인프라가 폐쇄적 환경에서 개방적 환경으로 전환했고 언제 어디서나 개인 스마트 기기가 기업 인프라 접근 허용이 가능해 졌다. 모바일 오피스는 휴대성이라는 편리함 이면에 일반 PC환경보다 더 많은 다양한 보안 위협과 취약점이 존재하고 스마트폰 분실 및 정보 유출, 악성코드 등의 위협이 존재하므로 더 높은 수준의 근본적인 보안대책 강구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 개인정보와 BYOD 환경의 모바일 오피스에 대한 보안 위협을 연구하고 모바일 오피스 개인정보 보안 방안을 제시함으로써 모바일 오피스 서비스를 제공하는 기업에게 개인정보 보안 전략을 수립하는 가이드라인을 제공하고자 한다.

  • 스마트폰의 보급으로 인해 이를 이용한 전자금융거래가 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 대부분의 금융회사가 스마트폰을 이용한 전자금융거래 서비스를 시행하고 있으며, 장소와 시간의 제약이 없는 스마트폰의 특성으로 인해 이용자 수는 계속 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 현재의 스마트폰은 전자금융거래에서 가장 중요하게 처리해야 할 인증 단계에서 보안 취약점을 보유하고 있으며, 이에 대한 보안 대책 기술이 강력하게 마련되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 연구가 가지고 있는 인증 방식의 취약점을 보안하기 위해 2팩터 인증기술과 인증 이미지 사진의 GPS정보를 활용하여 본인 인증 절차를 강화시키고, 전자금융거래에서 부인방지 기능을 제공한다. 또한, 단계별 시나리오 및 설계 방안을 제시하고 이를 바탕으로 보안 모듈을 설계 및 구현하여 연구의 효율성 및 타당성을 증명해 보이고자 한다.

  • With the growth of airline management, as well as computer and IT security, the international trade in this modern society has been rapidly increasing, Along with the advancing, airplanes have become a universal means of communication. However, the complications associated with airplane safety have also been brought up as a result, the most concerning of which is terrorism. One of the main counterplans for preventing terrorism is Ground security activities the core of Ground security activities is absolute safety for passengers in both passenger terminal and freight terminal. Subastral security refers to physical protection, proximity control and 100% security search and freight guarding of the passengers' possessions, and the personnel's duties to perform such jobs are be! coming more crucial. On the other hand, Airport security check has bee n gradually developing since the 1960's, when hijacking began to take place. Although the airports have been providing more safe and comfortable services to their customers, terrorism is still happening today. When Ground security activities is minute, the users feel displeasure and discomfort, yet considering solely their convenience can brings problems in achieving safety. Since the 9.11 terror in 2001, the idea of improving and strengthening airport security was reinforced and a considerable amount of estate is being spent today for invention and application of new technology. Various nations, including the United States, have been improving their systems of security through public services; public police department is actively carrying out their duties in airports as well. In San Francisco International Airport, private police department is in charge of collection of data, national events, VIP protection, law enforcement, cooperation within facilities, daily-based patrol and traffic control. Under guidance and supervision of national organizations, such as TSA, general police department interprets X-Rays, operates metal detectors, checks passports or IDs and observes reactions to explosives. Under these circumstances, studies about advancement of cooperation and duties of general police department and private police department necessitated: especially about private police department and their training for searching equipments, decrease in number of turn over rate, invention of technology and prior settlement in estate for security. The privacy of the public, who make up the major population of airport passengers, must also be minimized. In the following research, the activities of police departments in San Francisco International Airport will be analyzed in order to understand recent actions of the United States on airport security.

  • MIR system is a nationwide medical record information system that makes medical information available to any hospital and health institution at any time, and information in the system mostly requires high security. In particular, personal information related to patients and doctors, medical technology information and each hospital's digital information are used very frequently and are likely to be modified for illegal use. Thus we need to develop a system equipped with security measures to prevent information leakage while providing medical information service effectively.
