  • 본 논문에서는 무선전력전송 시스템 중 보상회로의 구조가 간단하고 정전압 출력특성을 가진 SP보상구조의 보상회로의 설계에 대해 다룬다. 시스템 특성에 따라 능동적으로 효율 및 송수신패드의 사이즈를 증감 시킨 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하고 이를 2kW급 Prototype 하드웨어에 적용하여 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증한다.

Analysis on Nonlinear Distortion due to Modulation Instability and Proposal of Link Structure for Compensation in Optical Amplified Transmission Systems (광증폭 전송시스템에서 Modulation Instability에 의한 비선형 왜곡의 분석 및 광링크 보상구조의 제안)

  • We theoretically analyze the properties of nonlinear distortion due to modulation instability (MI), which is a major factor of performance degradation in optical amplified transmission systems, and propose an optical link structure to compensate MI based on the analysis. The proposed MI compensating link structure is composed of optical phase conjugators (OPCs) and dispersion compensating fibers (DCFs) in order to suppress nonlinear effects in optical transmission links. It has been confirmed through computer simulations that the performance of the proposed compensation scheme is superior to that of conventional compensation schemes for 500 km transmission.

Interdependence of Corporate Governance Mechanisms and Managers' incentive-compensation system (기업 지배구조 통제장치와경영자 유인보상제도의 상호관련성)

  • This study confirms that there is a correlation between managers' incentive-compensation system(introduction of the compensation committee) and corporate governance mechanisms (ownership structure, proportion of outside directors, debt ratio, competitive strength), and analyzes whether firm value is affected by corporate governance mechanisms. The purpose of this paper are empirically tested using 318 firm-year data listed on the KRX from 2001 to 2010 and 2SLS(two-stage least square method) were used for the analysis of the hypotheses. The results of empirical tests are as follows. Firstly, there is no correlation between introduction of the compensation committee and corporate governance mechanisms. In addition, the results show that there is a causal relationship between some variables. Secondly, results from the analysis of the impact of corporate governance mechanisms on firm value, only introduction of the compensation committee and foreign investors ownership were analyzed as a positive impact on the firm value. This result means that most domestic firm don't actively used for managers' incentive-compensation system as a useful control device for improving corporate governance.

  • 본 논문에서는 하드웨어 HEVC 디코더의 움직임 보상 모듈의 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 구조를 갖는 움직임 보상 모듈은 하드웨어 처리 싸이클 수와 내부메모리 크기를 감소시키기 위해 하나의 코딩 유닛을 그보다 작은 여러 개의 블록으로 분할하여 처리할 수 있다. 제안된 움직임 보상 구조는 캐시를 통해 외부 메모리에 접근하여 참조 픽쳐를 로딩하는 단계와 보간 필터를 거쳐 예측 샘플을 생성하는 단계로 내부-파이프라인을 구성하며 코딩 유닛의 크기에 따라 내부-파이프라인에서 처리할 블록의 크기를 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 코딩 유닛 분할의 기준이 되는 블록 크기를 결정하기 위한 절충사항에 대해서도 논의한다. 제안된 구조의 효율성을 판단하기 위해 구현된 움직임 보상 모듈을 RTL 시뮬레이션 및 FPGA 보드 검증을 통해 테스트 하였으며, SoC 로 제작될 경우 초당 249 Mpixel 을 처리하여 4K-UHD 시퀀스의 실시간 디코딩이 가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

A Study on the Reward Element of Gamification in Real Variety Shows (리얼 버라이어티 쇼의 게이미피케이션 보상 요소 연구)

  • This paper focuses on the rewards, one of the elements(goal, competition, and reward) of gamification, and investigate the actual cases of its application to real variety shows. In this paper, I analyzed <2 Days and 1 Night> which offers trivial(general) rewards, and which offers special(unusual) rewards, and which offers "vernacular" rewards. Unlike specific rewards, abstract ones were estimated to bring about weak gamification effects. In Youn's Kitchen, however, the cast members felt that they received individual and subjective rewards despite its invisible rewards. And the show even reinforced the complete nature of its narrative structure. These results shows that real variety shows can have new and diverse reward structure.

  • The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between the type of reporting weaknesses in the Internal Accounting Control System and executive compensation, and then analyze whether such relevance varies depending on the characteristics of governance structure. The analysis data used 6,343 KOSPI&KOSDAQ companies excluding the financial industry from 2011 to 2016. As a results of the study, First, executive compensation decreased in companies reporting the weaknesses of CL. Second, this relevance was further strengthened according to the governance structure. This study confirms that information on the operation results of system is an important factor in determining manager compensation. It implies that it is necessary to study reasonable compensation policies and governance structures suitable for companies. If an internal control system that affects executive compensation is added, the basis for stronger support of the research results can be prepared.

CPW Directional Couplers with Enhanced Directivity by Using Expanded Slot Width as Compensation Structures (Slot 폭의 조절을 이용하여 향상된 방향성을 갖는 CPW방향성 결합기의 설계)

  • In this paper, we proposed the compensation structures for the enhanced directivity of CPW(Coplanar waveguide) directional couplers with finite-extent backed conductor. The proposed compensation structures are. realized by expanding the slot width between signal line and ground plane in center region of couplers. The CPW couplers with expanded slot have the same phase velocity for even and odd mode because of added inductance and changed capacitance appropriately, so the enhanced directivity is accomplished. The designed CPW directional couplers have good directivity and matching characteristic at center frequency in simulation and measurement.

Net Residual Dispersion in Inline Dispersion Managed Optical Transmission Link (Inline 분산 제어 광전송 링크에서 전체 잉여 분산)

  • A configuration scheme of optical link effectively compensating chromatic dispersion and nonlinear effects accumulated in optical link with single mode fibers (SMFs) is proposed. The proposed optical link configuration consist of optical phase conjugator (OPC) placed at middle of total transmission length and inline dispersion management (DM) as a role of compensating cumulated in each optical repeater of SMF by dispersion compensating fiber (DCF). Net residual dispersion (NRD) of this optical link is designed to be controlled through precompensation and postcompensating. The precompensation and postcompensation are designed to be determined by DCF after transmitter and before receiver, respectively. It is confirmed that optical link configuration with symmetric dispersion map with respect to OPC, which is implemented by controlling NRD through both precompensation and postcompensation, is better to be effective and adaptive than other configuration with NRD controlled by only precompensation or postcompensation.

  • 본 논문에서는 직접 전력변환방식의 단상 sag/swell 보상기를 구현하였다. 제안된 보상기는 정현파 입력/ 출력 필터, 직렬연결 변압기와 dc 링크 커패시터부가 없는 단상 back-to-back PWM컨버터로 구성되어 있다. 이 보상기의 장점은 dc-link 진해 커패시터가 제거되어 전력회로부가 간단하게 구현되어 향상된 신뢰성 및 내구성을 확인 할 수 있으며 동시에 단상 전압 sag/swell을 보상하며 스위칭 손실을 줄이는 간단한 PWM 방법을 들 수 있다. 더구나, 제안된 방법은 일반적인 직접 전력변환방식에서 요구되어지는 복잡한 4-step 전류 방법이 필요 없는 간단한 전류제어방법을 채용할 수 있는 구조이며 제안된 보상기의 구조와 PWM 방법의 타당성을 프로토타입 하드웨어를 제작하여 실험결과로 보상기의 우수성을 확인하였다.

Transmission Performance of 960 Gbps WDM Signals Depends on Dispersion Compensation Configurations (분산 보상 구조에 따른 960 Gbps WDM 신호의 전송 성능)

  • An investigation has been carried out, by computer simulation, to evaluate the impact of dispersion compensation configurations on 960 Gbps wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) system with optical phase conjugator (OPC). The considered dispersion compensation configurations in this research are conventional one-end type and bi-end type. One-end and bi-end type are made by using one dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) and two DCFs to decrease dispersion accumulated in one single mode fiber (SMF) span, respectively. It is found that bi-end compensation configuration offers the equal performance with that of one-end configuration in WDM system with residual dispersion per span (RDPS) of 400 ps/nm if net residual dispersion (NRD) had to be optimized in each cases.
