This study examined how the three major newspapers covered the press reform movement in Korea. Despite that the NGOs and Korean government keep trying to reform the market and structure of the newspapers, the targeted newspapers argue that they are unjustly accused of the dominance of the press market made by the readers' choice. Using frame analysis and discourse analysis, this study analyzed the news coverage on the press reform for 6 months and revealed that these major newspapers presumed to be targeted were totally challenging against the press reform by means of flaming of news and using news discourse. The ways of challenge were, firstly they appealed to the readers that the press reform is the press suppress so that they have to fight against this unacceptable pressure. And secondly, they report the news selectively for their own interests by elaborating, magnifying, or reducing the facts. Thirdly, they attack the government policies and major figures leading the press reform by letting the outside columnists favorable to their own standing point. And finally, they conduct the poll on and off and report what they want according to their self interests.

In Seoul, total 166 places of foot-bridges were constructed but a study on correlation between resonance occurrence status by gait vibration and natural frequency by each span and that between span based on structural system and natural frequency is very unsatisfactory in reality. Consequently in this study, time series wave form, power spectrum and natural frequency were analyzed based on resonance occurrence by targeting 65 places of foot-bridges being constructed in Seoul through convenient and simple portable vibration meter.

This study presents overall process for designing and constructing a prestressed frame overpass using temporary piers. For the purpose of automating the design process, this study presents a computer program. According to the effective span(20m, 25m, 30m, 35m, 40m, 45m), this study performed parametric analysis and eventually presented appropriate cross section and compared this cross section with that of the existing simple steel overpass in girder height and quantify of the steel. $26{\sim}48%$ for gilder height and $25{\sim}34%$ for quantify of the steel are reduced as the result of study for span length $20{\sim}45m$. As long as the span length. the reduction rate was large.

Domestic broadcasting companies are obliged to provide the disaster information quickly to protect the public from the disaster, and people can prepare the disaster. Especially, Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) has a duty to deliver disaster news more quickly and accurately than other broadcasting companies because it is designated as a host broadcaster for disaster broadcasting services in accordance with Article 43 of the Broadcasting Act. This study examined how the KBS deals with social disaster news related to Zika virus, and evaluated whether they used the frames in a timely manner to help people prepare a disaster. Based on the results of this analysis, this study tried to suggest practical implications for measures to improve the efficiency and reliability of disaster news report.

Article 17 and 18 of the Korean Constitution respectively prescribe the violation of individual's right to privacy and the secrecy of wire communication. Meanwhile, Article 20 of the Criminal Code provides that an act which is conducted within the ambit of laws or pursuant to accepted business practices or which does not violate the social norms shall not be punishable. In 1999, the Constitutional Court held that media reports on public matters of public figures must be given strong constitutional protection, and treated differently from reports on private matters of private figures. In accordance with the decision, the Supreme Court has expanded the scope of constitutional guarantee of freedom of expression since 2002. This study analyzes the issue of media liability for publication of illegally intercepted wire communication by a third person. Particularly, it reviews Seoul High Court's ruling on 'X-file scandal' which disclosed intercepted wire communications between notable public figures regarding a slush fund for a presidential candidate. In the light of this analysis, the study concludes that the media reporting of the intercepted communication does not violate social norms of Article 20, and therefore it is entitled to a constitutional privilege.

In this paper, a low power of safety oriented sidewalk block was implemented using dimming technology using LED and illuminance sensor to prevent glare by high - intensity light source and prevent night traffic accident. The dimming system of this paper used a light bulb color with less fatigue to prevent glare and consumed 6.10Wh power. Also, it is confirmed that the power saving is about 56.9% when compared with the existing system.

3년 전 우리나라 신문들은 조선조의 선조때 정평구라는 발명가가 세계 최초로 비행기를 만들었다는 기사를 보도해 화제를 모았었다. 비록 임진왜란에 얽혀 생겨난 전설이 확대된 이야기라고는 하지만 1923년 한글학자 권덕규가 쓴 책이 그런 내용이 있었다는 것이다. 또 19세기 초엔 윤달규도 비행기를 만드는 방법을 기록했었다는 구전이 있어 우리나라 옛 발명가 ㆍ기술자들의 배경을 연구해 보는 것은 우리의 과제가 아닐 수 없다.

Although walking is an important transport mode which should be promoted, realistic studies about walking is not sufficient. Especially, due to the transportation planning oriented toward automobile, there is not realistic analysis method for walking in the Highway Capacity Manual. Therefore, in this study the fuzzy approximate reasoning was employed to build a model for the analysis of walkways service level. For the input variable the noise level and brightness as well as the pedestrian flow rate were employed and the output variable was the walking satisfaction degree. The fuzzy models were constructed for daytime and nighttime separately. The forecastability analysis for the models were conducted using $R^2$, MAE and MSE. The values of them for the daytime model are 0.802, 0.729 and 0.735 respectively and the values for nighttime are 0.893, 0.878 and 0.860 respectively, so it can be said that the models explain the real situation well. As a result of this study, it can be concluded that the noise level has stronger effects to walking satisfaction then the brightness in night.

멀티미디어라는 단어는 이제 더 이상 낯선 용어가 아니며 일반에 널리 알려지고있다. 사람에 따라 그에 대한 개념이 약간씩 다르긴 하지만 그 차이는 미미하다. 이는 산업계에서도 마찬가지이다. 멀티미디어가 산업을 변화시키고 있다는 사실은 누구나 인정하고 있으며, 단지 업체별로 멀티미디어에 대한 대응 전략이 각 업체의 특성에 따라 차이를 보이고 있을 뿐이다. 다양한 정보처리를 지원하는 멀티미디어 OS는 현재 두가지 방향으로 발전하고 있는데, 그중 하나가 가정용 시장이다. 본 고는 일본의 니케이 일렉트로닉스지가 보도한 내용을 중심으로 멀티미디어 OS를 요약, 소개한 것으로, 가정 전기제품의 정보처리용으로 신영역을 개척하고 있는 멀티미디어 운영체계(OS)에 대해서 기술하고자 한다. 현재 가정용 멀티미디어 OS는 카레이다(Kaleida)사가 개발하고 있는 재생전용 멀티미디어 플레이 OS이고, 다른하나는 PC를 시장으로한 애플사의 퀵타임(Quick Time), 마이크로소프트사의 MME (MultiMedia Extension)와 IBM사의 MMPM/2 (MultiMedia Presentation Manager/2)가 그 주도권을 다투고 있다.

건축법이 올 정기국회에서 개정될 예정이다. 이를 위해 건설교통부는 지난 7월 10일 입법예고 하고 법제처 및 관계부처 협의를 진행중인 것으로 알려졌다. 입법예고 내용중 상업지역 공동주택에 대한 일조기준 폐지 및 건축물의 일조기준을 남쪽기준으로 변경, 허가기준 고시, 피난 및 내화 등의 건축기준을 설계기준으로 고시, 사전승인대상(21층이상 10㎡이상)을 시도에서 직접 허가가능토록 하는 등 절차와 기준에 대한 대폭적인 변경이 예상되고 있다. 그러나 무엇보다도 일반인의 관심을 끌었던 것은 일간신문에서 중점보도한 "용도변경이 자유로워져 건축물을 마음대로 사용할 수 있다"와 "건축인허가시 건축사확인으로 허가 가능한 대상이 확대된다"는 것이었다. 따라서 용도변경제도와 허가제도의 개정 내용과 이를 시행시 발생하는 문제점과 함께 개선방안, 선결되어야 할 문제와 관련, 병행해서 개정되어야 할 과제 등을 살펴보고 바람직한 제도개선 방향에 대해서도 제안해 본다.
