The Characteristics of Japanese Vocational Education and Training System and Its Recent Changes (일본의 직업교육·훈련제도의 특성과 최근의 변화)

  • This paper investigates the characteristics of Japanese vocational education and training(VET) system and its recent changes with regard to the labour market changes under the long-term economic depression. The employment system model of Marsden(1999) is used as an analytical framework. By the review of 'the debate of intellectual skill', it is pointed out that the fundamental characteristic of Japanese VET system lies in forming multi-functional workers by the internal promotion in connection with the OJT-focused enterprise training along the job-competency rank system. In this system 'the skill as work-competency' is not institutionalised. By the long-term depression this type of internal labour market (ILM) has been under serious changes. By the policy analyses it is made clear that the direction of its change is not toward the collapse of the ILM. A series of labor market and VET policies does aim at sustaining the ILM by the introduction of the unified job qualification system, which is expected to institutionalise the widening external labour market into the craft-based labour market.

  • This study analyzed the citation count of papers and authors in the field of human geography through the multidimensional scaling and social network analysis with the papers and their references published in Journal of Korean Geographical Society(Geography). The major findings of this study are as follows. Group formation of common approaches in intelligent network has not formed by cited literature in the field of human geography of a journal representing Korea. Then, each researcher should study consistently on a subject to form a school rather than diversify the field and subject of study. They also need to increase the citation count by accumulating research work with a high degree of completion. In addition, many universities with a lot of enrolled graduate students of master's and doctorate course have a responsibility to encourage the formation of school. Meanwhile, if the master's and doctoral dissertations are not official publications unlike journals, the citation of them should be avoided institutionally because it is the unique phenomena of Korea.

  • This article analyses frame transition of personal information leakage in Korea from 1984 to 2014. In order to investigate the transition, we have collected newspaper article's titles. This study adopts classification, text network analysis(by co-occurrence symmetric matrix), and clustering techniques as part of social network analysis. Moreover, we apply definition of centrality in network in order to reveal the main frame formed in each of four periods. As a result, accessibility of personal information is extended from public sector to private sector. The boundary of personal information leakage is expanded to overseas. Therefore it is urgent to institutionalize the protection of personal information from a global perspective.

Preconception and Conceptual Change about Season on Elementary School Students (계절 변화에 대한 초등학생의 선개념과 개념 변화 양상)

  • This study was to investigate the preconception and phases of children's conceptual change about season through an instruction on the concept. Participants in the study were seventy-eight fifth graders in two classrooms of an elementary school located in Incheon city. Children's preconception was examined using a questionnaire, consisted of a drawing and literal explanation. The questionnaire also was used at the midterm-test, post-test, and one-week delayed-test. The results shows several findings as follows: some children (a) change their synthetic conceptions to form another synthetic conceptions through the instruction; (b) exhibit that their conceptions are unstable; and (c) are mainly influenced by distance and heating effect on the seasonal spatial distribution between the Earth and the Sun, and by the Earth's rotation on the seasonal change of constellations in acquiring the scientific concepts.

  • During the commissioning period in Tonghae thermal power plant which is the largest circulating fluidized bed boiler in the nation, a considerable amount of clinker was formed at FBAC and seal pot. Various attempts, for example, concentration analysis, surface phenomena, thermal characterization, and crystal structure of ash, bed sand, limestone, clinker, and mixture of each gradients have been studied to identify the causes of clinker formed in circulating fluidized bed boiler. As the results, the characterization of black particles in which separated from the clinker is more similar to that of bed sand, on the other hand, white particles are more similar to ash. In addition, the sintering temperature of sand is over $1,200^{\circ}C$ and this temperature was decreased as limestone is added to bed material. The cause of clinker was proved that ash was sticked to molten or sintered sand or limestone in the area of high temperature in the circulating system.

  • Age and growth of stone flounder kareius bicolortus in approaches to Kyongyolbiyolto of Yellow sea were studied by otolith reading of 248 fishes from September 1992 to August 1993. Examination of the ourter margins of the otoliths showed that th hyaline zone as annulus was formed once a year and that its formation was completed at the end of the spawning season(Jan. to Feb.). Growth of the fish was expressed by the von Bertalanffy's equation as Lt=313.7[1-exp{-0.463(t+0.0704)}] for males and Lt=478.6[1-exp{-0.286(t-0.1619)}] for females, where Lt is body length in mm and It is age in years. It was found that growth of males and females differs, with the females showing a higher growth than the males. Growth in body weight was also examined. The oldest fish were seven years old for males and females.

  • 기후변화로 의한 기온의 상승은 가뭄, 홍수와 같은 재해를 일으킬 뿐만 아니라 깊은 호수나 저수지와 같은 수자원에도 용존 산소, 물질, 영양소 및 식물플랑크톤의 수직적 분포 등과 같은 다양한 부분에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구의 목적은 SWAT, HEC-ResSim 및 CE-QUAL-W2(이하 W2)모델을 사용하여 미래의 기후 변화에 따른 소양호의 수온, 성층강도 및 열적 안정성의 변화를 장기 예측하고 그 영향을 평가하는데 있다. W2 모델의 보정은 2005 년부터 2015 년까지의 실측 과거 데이터를 이용하여 보정하였고 기후변화 시나리오는 IPCC의 AR5 RCP 4.5 시나리오를 사용하였다. 기후자료는 GCM 모델인 HadGEM2-AO 결과를 상세화하여 모의기간의 자료를 생성하였다. SWAT모델을 이용하여 모의기간인 2016 년부터 2070 년까지 일단위로 저수지 유입을 예측했으며 HEC-ResSim모델을 이용하여 소양강댐 저수지 운영 조건에 따라 저수지 방류량 및 수위 변화를 모의하였다. 수온 해석을 위해 W2를 적용하여 저수지의 장기간의 수온 변화를 예측하였다. 결과적으로 대기 온도는 $0.0279^{\circ}C/year$(p < 0.05) 상승할 것으로 예측되었으며, 동일기간 상층(수면으로부터 5m 깊이)과 하층 (바닥으로부터 5m 높이) 수온은 각각 $0.0191^{\circ}C$/년(p < 0.05) 및 $0.008^{\circ}C$/년(p < 0.05) 상승할 것으로 예측되었다. 모의된 수온을 계절별로 분석했을 때 상층수온은 여름철 가장 큰 폭으로 상승하였으며 하층의 경우 겨울철에 가장 큰 폭으로 상승하였다. 계절별 상-하층 수온의 차는 여름이 가장 컸으며, 겨울에 온도차가 가장 작았다. 또한 미래 온도의 상승에 따라, 소양호의 성층 강도가 강해지는 경향을 보였으며 상층 및 하층의 온도차 $5^{\circ}C$를 기준으로 성층이 형성되는 기간은 큰 변동이 없었으나 소멸되는 시점이 점점 늦어지는 추세를 보여 성층 형성 기간이 길어지는 것으로 나타났다. 저수지 표면의 수온 상승은 식물플랑크톤의 계절 성장률에 영향을 미쳤는데, 특정 조건에서 규조류는 최적 성장 범위를 벗어나는 고온 조건에서 성장속도가 감소하였으나 녹조류와 남조류의 출현 시기가 빨라지며 장기화될 것으로 예측되었다.

The Leisure Profile of the Elderly Based on 2009 Time Use Survey Data (2009생활시간조사자료를 근거로 한 노년층의 여가프로파일)

  • This study is aimed to investigate the difference of leisure time use of elderly groups clustered with demographic factors and finally produce the leisure profile. A total 5392 time diaries, filled up by 65-years old and over in 2009 Time Use Survey, were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation, cluster analysis, and ANOVA accompanied with the Scheffe's tests. The subjects could be clustered into 7 groups such as still working, work than leisure, hobby with friends, various leisure in a city, with religion and friendship, working and doing leisure in their spare time, and leisure in suburb based upon demographic factors such as age, gender, spouse, education, job, income and living area. The data also revealed that the clusters had different time use patterns in pursuing leisure. Overall, leisure in later life could be influenced by working status, and play an important role in filling their loss of job or spouse. The findings could help us plan upcoming leisure program and policies for the elderly.

A Critical Study on the Three Models of Practical Theology in the Second Half of the 20th Century (20세기 후반 실천신학의 세 가지 유형에 대한 비판적 연구)

  • This essay is a critical study of the three models of practical theology that emerged in the second half of the 20th century: the critical correlational model (Sherrill, Browning), the hermeneutical model (Groome, Gerkin), and the faith community formation model (Westerhoff, Campbell). This essay first explores the central ideas of practical theologians who adhere to each of the three models and focuses on Christian education, pastoral counseling, and homiletics. This essay then critically evaluates the three models in accordance to the following four themes: how practical theology has 1) responded to the challenges of postmodernity, 2) engaged in dialogue with different types of theology, 3) participated in interdisciplinary dialogue, and 4) understood Christian practice. In conclusion, this essay suggests that the essential tasks of contemporary Christian education as practical theology include: 1) providing an active response to many challenges of postmodern, postsecular, postdigital, and posthuman era, 2) engaging in interactive dialogue with diverse forms of theology, and 3) facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue based on transversal rationality, and 4) establishing of the concept of Christian practice at the individual, ecclesial, social, public, ecological, and digital levels.

Effects of Soil Particle Size on Relationship between Microtopography Roughness Height and Soil Erosion Rate: Harisine-Rose Model analysis (토양 입경에 따른 미세지형적 거칠기와 토양 침식률 간의 관계)

  • 선행 연구들을 통해 미세지형이 유역에서의 유사 유출량에 영향을 끼침을 알 수 있다. 그러나 여전히 유사-유출에 대한 미세지형의 영향이 불분명하여 유역 내 토양 침식 과정에서 미세지형적 거칠기를 고려할 때 혼란이 야기될 수 있다. 따라서, 유사유출량과 토양침식량에 대한 보다 정확한 예측 및 산정을 위해 미세지형이 토양 침식에 미치는 영향을 명확하게 하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 Hairsine-Rose 침식 모형과 동역학파(Dynamic wave) 모형을 사용하여 강우-유출에 따른 미세지형의 유사-유출 과정을 수치적으로 모의하였다. 모의 결과에 따르면, 미세지형은 동일 강우 및 유출 조건에서도 유역 내 유사 유출량을 변화시켰다. 또한, 본 연구의 모의조건 하에서 지반이 비교적 미세토사로 구성된 경우 미세지형이 거칠수록 침식률이 증가하는 반면 지반의 토사가 대부분 굵은 입경을 가질 때는 매끄러운 지형보다 거친 미세지형에서 토양 침식률이 감소함을 확인하였다. 따라서, 지형의 미세지형 변동 정도와 토양침식률 사이에 비례 또는 반비례 관계가 형성됨을 보이고, 이러한 관계를 형성하는 과정에 입경 분포가 미치는 영향을 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 본 연구 결과를 통해 장갑화(armoring) 과정이 입경 분포뿐만 아니라 미세지형의 거칠기에 따라 유역별로 다르게 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 유사-유출에 대한 미세지형의 영향을 적절하게 고려하기 위해 부상(Pick-up), 이류 및 퇴적 등 입경 별 퇴적물 이동이 다중 물리적으로 고려되어야 한다는 점을 강조한다. 본 연구를 통해 지표면의 미세지형적 거칠기 및 토양 입경에 대한 정확한 정보가 필요함을 알 수 있으며, 이를 충분히 고려한다면 강우 유출에 의한 토양 침식 메커니즘에 대한 이해도와 토양침식량에 대한 정량적 예측의 정확도가 향상될 것으로 예상된다.
