In order to clarify the relationship between the Internet utilization of the Korean small export firms for export marketing and it's performance, first, a research model and hypothesis have been made on a theoretical basis. This research hypothesis has been examined through gathering survey data and a statistical analysis based on MANOVA. The conclusion, as well as the main point of this thesis, is that, in most cases, there was a significant statistical connection between the variables of export performances and Internet-utilized export marketing strategies, which are both based on the classical AIDA model of effective hierarchy of communication for sales and advertising. This conclusion brings forth a substantial topic as well as provides meaningful implications for the Korean small export firms when putting together a marketing strategy using the Internet. It is also hoped that this will come as a reference for other researchers henceforth. However, there is an issue of lack of representativeness when considering that the samples were chosen on the basis of the convenience sampling method. Another issue may be that a portion of the subjects were not related to actual trade, but were, in fact, Web masters who operated e-trade systems. Furthermore, there are also numerous problems of missing data, and 6 out of the 8 main hypotheses possessed the issue of fitness level with the data. Therefore, in order to enhance both the representative and fitness levels of the data of further research for this topic, future respondents will have to have special trade knowledge, as well as technical knowledge of e-trade. However, unless the Internet begins to greatly contribute to export marketing of corporations, this type of enterprising spirit by corporations in gathering suitable respondents will not surface. Although not used in examining the hypotheses of this particular thesis, the relationship between competitive and circumstantial variables, which were added to the upcoming survey, and export performances will soon be analyzed and announced in order to atone for some of the standards this thesis fell short of.
Korea's economic development started from early 1960s over war devastation. Korean government drove promoting export with its all efforts. In 2011, Korea joined the "USD 1 trillion trade club" as the 9th nation in the world. It is true that the growth of Korean exports has greatly contributed to the development of Korean economy, and that workers in the export promoting organizations also contributed to such a tremendous performance. Still, there are a number of SMEs waiting for more support from the export promoting organizations. This paper tried to identify the determinants of organizational performances of export promoting organization workers with particular focus on their public service motivation and self-esteem. Our findings are as follows; Workers' public service motivation and self-esteem are strongly related to their organizational commitment, job satisfaction, organizational performances. In addition, the workers show a different level of intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction when it comes to public service and customer satisfaction. This reflects the employees of export promoting organizations have more focused on the value and accomplishment of their performances in workplace. Women and younger workers within the organizations tend to have weaker organizational commitment. In conclusion, we recommend that it is important to increase the women's organizational commitment and develop more inspirational personnel programs to younger workers within the organizations in order to support Korea's promising SMEs in a more practical manner.
Recently, the successful appointment of the general directorate of GCF (Green Climate Fund) in Songdo of Korea made a great history for the golden triangle with GGGI (global Green Growth Institute) and GTC (Green Technology Center). Now, Korea became the Mecca for the global green growth and it gave a great opportunity foe the Korea to lead the global economy in the future. However, to successfully manage the GCF, the Korean government should show their willingness as well as the readiness for the green prowth and green productivity. It is really hard for the Korea, since it takes the second rank for the growth rate of carbon dioxide emission in the world. To overcome this shameful status, it should make the best effort to promote the green productivity, especially in a field of logistics industry, because it takes 21% of global CO2 emission, the second largest portion. The research aims to systematically introduce the Global Malmquist-Luenberger Index (GML) and to evaluate the logistics industry of Korea based on the GML approach. It concludes the innovative technology is utmost important to improve the green productivity of the logistics industry and thus the Korean government should make more aggressive role to fill this missing link in the innovation network.
The essential purpose of this study is to exemplify empirically some relations of between Korea image attributes and Korea image making in Uzbekistan. This study is for providing basically empirical analysis for intensifying Korea's economic capacity based on Korean image in Uzbekistan and for offering any kinds of implications for the entry and management activities of Korean enterprises in world-wide business. This study is organized in two stages. First, the study model is designed by reappraising relevant theories, previous studies and the current investment qualifications concerning the country image attributes and image making. Second, the survey of Uzbekistan people who are living in South Korea is accomplished by collecting questionnaires. SPSS 15.0 for windows is being activated for correlation, reliability, validity and finally the statistical method of structural equation modeling is utilized to testing the hypothesis by AMOS 7.0 for windows. In conclusion partially, Korea image attributes: economic capability, popular culture, national traits and enterprise competence are proved to influence positively to Korea image making: recognition, attractiveness and confidence which is considered generally by Uzbekistan people.
The purpose of study is to examine how tour wholesaler's relationship characteristics to tour retailer affect trust, commitment, and repurchase intention in the distribution channel of travel industry. There are several detailed purposes of this study. First, this study is to grasp the factors of tour wholesaler's relationship characteristics to tour retailer. Secondly, this study is to examine how tour wholesaler's relationship characteristics to tour retailer affect trust and commitment. Thirdly, this study is to examine how trust on tour wholesaler, which is divided into two levels, firm and salesperson in charge, affects each other and commitment. Fourthly, this study is to examine how trust on tour wholesaler finn and salesperson in charge and commitment affect repurchase intention. Fifthly, this study is to suggest more efficient basis for marketing strategies to C.E.O or officer in charge of decision making of tour wholesaler, and help them to make right decisions. Managerial implications can be drawn from this study. One is that it is recognized that tour wholesaler's relationship characteristics to tour retailer consist of those to tour wholesaler finn such as reputation, physical characteristics, communication and those to salesperson in charge such as expertise, likability, similarity, frequent contact affect trust and commitment positively. The entry of large discount stores such as E-mart, LG mart, Magnet etc. into small cities have had a profound impact on the business of small-sized retailers. Now, it becomes the matter of survival for small-sized retailers and it is almost impossible to reverse those trends. Without satisfying consumers' various needs and wants, retailers can not survive. Therefore, it is extremely important to understand retail competition from the perspective of consumers in order for retailers to survive in the turbulent environment. The previous research studies on retail competition have focused on the comparison among different types of retailers with respect to strategic retail mix variables. However, they do not consider the competitive aspects of consumers' sides. In addition, we do not fully understand the meaning of "shopping." Shopping means hedonic shopping as well as utilitarian shopping. Utilitarian aspects are important but consumers also prefer' hedonic aspects too. That is the reason that traditional retailers such as small-sized retailers can not compete with modem and large retailers. We use three different methods to identify the macro and competitive structure. of retailing with respect to shopping. Factor analysis, multidimensional scaling, and multiple correspondence analysis are used to produce perceptual mapping of retail competition. Department store and large discount store are identified as close competitors but both might have an indirect impact on small-sized retailers through demand shift toward high end retailers.
This research is to examine the effect of specific Sports On-line membership characteristics on Customer loyalty, the role of the important concept of the three degree of commitment(Continuance commitment, Normative commitment, Affective commitment) in relation marketing. First, discover whether professional team's customer loyalty is influenced by Sports on-line membership through the three degrees of commitment, which is an important parameter in customer relation. Second, find out the effect of currently used online membership characteristics of an off-line company on the three degrees of commitment. To achieve this aim our research team carried out an empirical study by creating an experimental hypothesis and model. The research was conducted by an online survey by 211 supporters of professional football teams. Out of the total 23 were judged untrustworthy by double answers, the empirical study was drawn out from the remaining 188. The empirical study was done by statistical analysis programs SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0. The conclusion of this research is that specific characteristics of Sports on-line membership, Continuance commitment, Normative commitment, Affective commitment plays an important role as a medium in Customer loyalty.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the indications of bionator in Class II division 1 malocclusion, The 48 subjects were classified into good result group(group1) and poor result group(group2) in reference to posttreatment molar relation, posttreatment overbite and overjet, posttreatment profile, and relapse. Pretreatment lateral cephalograms were calculated and evaluated by t-test stepwise discriminant analysis. The results were as follows ; 1. In jaw bone relationship, ANB, facial convexity angle, AB to facial plane angle were significantly different between two treatment groups. In denture pattern, L1 to facial plane, L1 to A-Pog, FMIA, and U1 to facial plane were significantly different and m soft tissue profile, protuberance of lower lip and upper lip were significantly different between tw o treatment groups. 2. The results in according to discriminant analysis stated that L1 to facial plane, ANB, FMIA and protuberance of lower lip help prediction of treatment result of bionator. 3. 3 major influential variables were obtained by stepwise discriminant analysis - L1 to facial plane, articular angle and ANB difference. And Fisher discriminant function was made by these three major variables.
In this paper, we developed a big data platform to store, process, and analyze effectively on such education longitudinal study data. And it was applied to the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS) to confirm its usefulness. The developed platform consists of data preprocessing unit and data analysis unit. The data preprocessing unit 1) masking, 2) converts each item into a factor 3) normalizes / creates dummy variables 4) data derivation, and 5) data warehousing. The data analysis unit consists of OLAP and data mining(DM). In the multidimensional analysis, OLAP is performed after selecting a measure and designing a schema. The DM process involves variable selection, research model selection, data modification, parameter tuning, model training, model evaluation, and interpretation of the results. The data warehouse created through the preprocessing process on this platform can be shared by various researchers, and the continuous accumulation of data sets makes further analysis easier for subsequent researchers. In addition, policy-makers can access the SELS data warehouse directly and analyze it online through multi-dimensional analysis, enabling scientific decision making. To prove the usefulness of the developed platform, SELS data was built on the platform and OLAP and DM were performed by selecting the mathematics academic achievement as a measure, and various factors affecting the measurements were analyzed using DM techniques. This enabled us to quickly and effectively derive implications for data-based education policies.
The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the self- perceived stress of high school students on their oral health care and the relationship between stress and oral health care. The subjects in this study were the students in four different high schools located in Chungcheongnam-do, on whom a self-administered survey was conducted. The answer sheets from 939 respondents were analyzed by PASW Statistics ver.18.0 for Windows. The girls were more stressed than the boys about their studies, appearance and material resource, and the sophomores felt more stress about their home and studies. The group whose academic achievement was good in the past semester had the lowest stress about home and material resource, and the group whose economic standard was higher were less stressed about appearance and material resource. As a result of comparing their oral health care by general characteristics, the groups who were sophomores and whose academic achievement was good in the past semester were most excellent in that regard, and the students whose economic standard was higher and whose average weekly allowances were larger took better care of their oral health. Concerning the influential factors for oral health care, stress about peer relationship was positively related, and stress about material resource was negatively related. Given the findings of the study, the development of oral health care programs that include how to relieve stress is required, and more intensive education is necessary as well. Besides, education for school personnel in charge of student health management and the development of related manuals are both required.
