First, male student Internet addiction was higher than female student. Second, it was analyzed that internet addiction group recognizes cyber crime averagely higher than general use group. It is understood that according as internet practical use time increases, they recognize much danger that exposed cyber crimie. Third, cyber criminal recognition by internet addiction did multiplex regression analysis. As a result, Internet addiction was analyzed that cyber crime recognition increases according as increasing of addiction level that connected with usually life difficulty and deviation behavior.

  • The study aims to examine the effects of crime on societal anxiety. For this purpose, two studies were conducted. In study 1, the data were collected from 286 students(male 160, female 126) regarding perceived seriousness of crime, estimation of crime occurrence, societal anxiety, and estimation of change in these 3 variables every 3 years from 1993 to 2011. The means of the 3 variables were higher than the midpoint of the scale. And the means of all the 3 variables gradually increased from 1993 to 2011 and the change patterns were very similar. Furthermore, the estimation of crime occurrence and perceived seriousness of crime were significant predictors of societal anxiety. Study 2 was conducted to explore the effect of frequency estimation of the criminal acts on the societal anxiety. The data from 259 subjects(male 141, female 118) were analysed. The occurrence of frequency of 7 types of crimes including 25 criminal acts were estimated and societal anxiety was measured. The results of study 2 showed that only the major crime was significant a predictor of societal anxiety, and among the major crimes, arson was a significant predictor of the dependent variable. Implications and limits of the studies are discussed.

  • Since the sexual violence crime has a high probability of repeated crime, the electronic monitoring system has been introduced as a measure to it. And this system allows the police to know the location of former criminal around the clock through the electronic device, the former criminal has the psychological/mental oppression which can restrain the intention of crime to a degree. However, there is a limit in blocking criminals with strong will from repeated crime. The next-generation intelligent electronic anklet currently under study collects and analyzes the change bio-data in real time through the location information of electronic monitoring target and attached sensor. This study is aimed to predict the symptom of crime occurrence in advance based on this and block the crime intention in advance or stop the ongoing crime before it is expanded.

  • In the police, crime intelligence is the basis of decision making for police's original activities in response to crime. Police decision making is done in various ways such as investigation and prevention of individual cases, allocation of resources, organization prioritization, etc. The purpose of this study was to investigate the activities of the UK policing in analyzing crime intelligence and to reflect them in the policing and to draw implications for the comparison with the Korean police. The UK operates a central police agency based on the local police system, and establishes a National Intelligence Model (NIM) system that operates crime intelligence throughout the country. In order to respond to crimes and risks through coordination and cooperation, rather than by centralized police activities, the intelligence department of the police agencies should not only prevent and suppress crime through the analysis of integrated crime information, but also make police decision-making. In contrast, the Korea police operate crime intelligence, such as statistics, case intelligence, and there is no integrated way to use it. In addition, there are few cases in which the organizational decision - making based on crime intelligence is utilized efficiently and systematically. For development, it is necessary to construct an integrated management system and analysis organization for crime intellgence. Criminal Intelligence Analysis Organizations should seek to reorganize the role of the current intelligence department or to operate a separate analysis system through the information system while maintaining the current role of each department.

  • Recently, as violent crimes of crime without reason (Korea : Do not ask), women and the elderly are getting serious. In the existing system, many CCTVs are installed, but it is difficult to prevent crime due to only follow-up measures after a crime occurs. This device prevents crime through this device for incidents in shaded areas and closed spaces such as apartments and buildings. To do this, we research this technology to develop products and software. It sends an alarm signal using communication technology to a specific place where you want to receive an event of an alarm or a CCTV device operated using image analysis big data technology and convergence sensor technology for a specific target of the behavior expected to be a crime or movement. Develop the device. This development device researches and develops this device and supplies low-cost devices to consumers, which is used as a device that predicts the occurrence of crime in advance, processes it as an alarm signal in real time, and transmits it, and constitutes a standalone device and a server. Will provide the device to be connected.

  • This study was examined the effective nonverbal behavior cues of detecting suspects' lies in the investigation scene. In order to search the suspects who drank the alcohol liquor without a permission, 18 soldiers were interviewed. 8 solders had drunken alcohol and had lied when was asked(lie group). The other 10 soldiers hadn't drunken alcohol and had told the truth(truth group). The mean frequencies of nonverbal behaviors were compared lie group with truth group. The following behaviors were measured by frequency: vocal characteristics (high pitch of voice, speech hesitations, speech error, frequency of pauses, period of pauses, latency period), facial characteristics (gaze, smile, touching face, blinking, facial micro-expression), body movement (illustrators, hand and finger movement, leg and foot movement, head movement, trunk movement, shifting position). As results, this study found that deception cues were periods and frequencies of pause, micro-expression, head movements. The lie group had less periods and frequencies of pause, and more micro-expression, head movements than truth group. But, this study didn't found Othello's error cues.

  • This study suggests a methodology to track crime suspects or anomalies through CCTV in order to expand the scope of CCTV use as the number of CCTV installations continues to increase nationwide in recent years. For the abnormal behavior classification, we use the existing studies to find out suspected criminals or abnormal actors, use CNN to track objects, and connect the surrounding CCTVs to each other to predict the movement path of objectified objects CCTVs in the vicinity of the path were used to share objects' sample data to track objects and to track objects. Through this research, we will keep track of criminals who can not be traced, contribute to the national security, and continue to study them so that more diverse technologies can be applied to CCTV.
