Vibration Isolation System of a Large Reverberation Chamber (대형 잔향실의 방진 설계 및 검증)

  • A vibration isolation system fur a large reverberation chamber (1,228㎥, 1,000ton) has been installed. The reverberation chamber generates loud noise and induces high level of vibration to perform spacecraft acoustic environmental tests. The isolation system prevents vibration transfer from the chamber to enclosure buildings. This paper describes logical design process and commissioning experiments of the system. Design criteria have been induced from rigid body model of the chamber. Finite element model has been employed to select the characteristics of rubber pads. A total of 21 rubber pads have been installed between the chamber and supporting pedestals. A sand bag of 800kg was dropped on the chamber floor to measure the natural frequency of the isolation system. Absolute transmissibility has been measured while generating 145㏈ in the chamber. The natural frequency of the chamber is 10.5㎐, which is 80% of estimated value. Overall transmissibility at working frequency range (25㎐-10,000㎐) is less than -6㏈.

Optimal Design of Vibration Isolation System in Optical Disc Drives (광디스크 드라이브의 방진계 최적설계)

  • The schematic design process is formulated to develop the vibroisolating rubber mount in optical disc drives. The dynamic model of vibration isolation system is established by using a rigid body with 6 degree of freedom and linear springs with damping property. Considering the practical vibration condition of DVDP(Digital Versatile Disk Player), the required properties of vibroisolating rubber mounts are investigated. Also finite element model of a vibroisolating rubber mount is used to obtain shape design concept and identify the characteristics of a rubber mount which satisfies the required properties from previous design stage. Finally the evaluation method of dynamic properties of vibroisolating rubber mounts is established by utilizing modal test method. Based on the developed process, vibroisolating rubber mounts with a good performance have been developed.

  • In the case of railway facilities in cities such as a railway station or a bridge, the significance of design for reducing vibration and noise is getting more significant. The vibration control solution is in need especially for an elevated railway station to block vibration of a train and secondary noise effectively. Even though a vertical vibration isolation device is able to be applied effectively to railway facilities such as elevated railway stations which transfer vibration directly from a train to a structure, the development of the vertical device is much slower than a horizontal vibration isolation device. In this paper, a vibration isolation device using wedge type friction material which is currently developing to reduce train-induced vibration effectively is introduced and test results for verification of dynamic performance is also presented. The vibration test on a concrete structure equipped with the developed vibration isolation device is conducted through which the isolation performance and dynamic properties are verified and needs for improving the performance of the device is identified.

  • In the parallel-architecture turbo codes, the constituent interleaver must avoid memory collision. This paper proposes a collision-free interleaver structure composed of a Latin square matrix and pre-designed interleavers. Our proposed interleavers can be easily optimized for various information block sizes and for various degrees of parallelism. Their performances were evaluated by computer simulation.

  • 본 기사는 지난 2월 한양대학교에서 개최되었던 제7회 기술강습회 교재의 내용을 발췌하여 요약정리한 내용으로서, 진동기초의 설계개념을 다른 일반적인 기초와의 차이점을 강조하면서 기술하였다. 본 기사에서는 전체적인 설계절차 및 개념을 소개하기 위하여 해석이론 부문의 언급을 회피하였는데 이 부분에 대한 내용은 다른 주제에서 다루게 된다. 즉, 두번째 주제에서는 블럭형 기초의 설계에 대한 해석이론 및 설계절차를 예제를 통하여 설명하고 있으며, 세번째 주제에서는 프레임형 기초, 그리고 네번째 주제에서는 깊은 기초에 대한 해석이론 및 설계절차를 역시 예재를 통하여 설명하였다. 마지막으로 다섯번째 주제에서는 기계진동을 차단하는 것을 목적으로 하는 방진기초의 설계개념에 대하여 기술하고 있다.

크라이오 펌프 및 G-M 극저온 냉동기의 진동 저감을 위한 부품 설계 변경 및 해석에 따른 연구

  • G-M극저온냉동기의 구동으로 인해 발생되는 크라이오 펌프의 진동 저감을 위해 각 요소에 해당하는 부품의 소재 및 모델 변경으로 설계에 반영하고자 한다. G-M극저온냉동기는 헬륨냉매를 사용하여 2개의 정압과정과 2개의 정적과정으로 구성되는 냉동사이클을 구성하는데, 구조적 특성상 내부 왕복기의 운동과 고저압변환에 따른 압력차이가 냉동기의 진동을 유발하므로 진공성능에 영향을 줄 수 있으므로, 이를 최소화하는 기술 개발이 필요하다. 헬륨냉매의 고압 유동에 따른 관로 압력증가로 인한 유동소음이 발생하는데, 이로 인한 소음을 줄이기 위해 관로의 최적화 설계/방진구조반영(DAMPER)으로 진동 안정화(Vibration Stabilization)설계를 수행 하고자 하며, 이에 따른 최적화 연구을 수행하고자 한다. 일차적으로, 기존 시스템의 진동측정을 통해 진동의 가진원을 밝히고 진동 전달경로를 파악하고자한다. 진동 가진원의 가진 최소화, 진동전달경로의 전달률 최소화, 고압유동에 따른 관로 설계 최적화를 진동해석, 탄성체 동역학해석, 그리고 유동해석을 통해 진동 및 소음의 최소화 방안을 도출하고자 한다. 해석결과를 토대로 진동가진원의 최소화를 위한 제품설계변경과 진동전달경로에 대한 방진을 위한 dmper 적용(전달률 최소화) 및 유동소음 최소화를 위한 damper나 관로 최적화 설계를 수행한다. 상기 기존시스템 측정/분석, CAE해석을 통한 진동/소음의 최적화방안도출 및 실제품 적용기술은 저진동 크라이오펌프 개발을 위한 기반 기술 확립에 크게 기여할것이며, 향후 크라이오펌프 고도화 및 최신 기술 제품 개발에 큰 기여가 기대된다.

Dynamic Analysis of Gimbal Structure System Including Nonlinear Elastic Rubber Vibration Isolator with Shock Acceleration (비선형 탄성 방진 고무부에 충격 가속도를 받는 짐발 구조 시스템의 동적 해석)

  • When shock acceleration is applied to a mechanical system, it may cause malfunctioning and damage to the system. Hence, to prevent these problems when developing a gimbal structure system for observation reconnaissance, the MIL-STD-810G shock standard must be satisfied as a design specification. Rubber vibration isolators are generally assembled on the base of the system in order to reduce the shock transferred from the aircraft. It is difficult to analyze the transient behavior of the system accurately, because rubber has a nonlinear load-deformation curve. To treat the nonlinear characteristic of the rubber, bilinear approximation was introduced. Using this assumption, transient responses of the system under base shock acceleration were calculated by the finite element method. In addition, experiments with a true prototype were performed using the same conditions as the analytical model. Compared with experimental data, the proposed numerical method is useful for the transient analysis of gimbal structure systems, including rubber vibration isolators with nonlinear stiffness and damping.
