  • Recently, concrete facility as advanced water treatment facilities is extending in the water treatment facilities according to raise awareness of pure drinking water and delicious water. For this reason, it is increased to the necessity need to make the standard and the development of waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials for concrete structures applied water treatment tank. So, related research has become active recently. However, as the limit of research focused on durability improvement of top coating material, it is insufficient to study on the adhesion strength between the concrete surface and primer. Therefore, there is to confirm the adhesion of between concrete surface and the three primers used as anti-corrosion waterproofing materials, and to investigate the properties of adhesion strength according to the condition such as dry condition, wet condition, and water pressure condition of the concrete surface in this study.

  • DMA-co-DAMA were synthesized from 2-diethylaminoethyl metacrylate and dodecyl-metacrylate containing long chain hydrocarbon group with hydrophilic and hydrophobic radicals. To facilitate water emulsification,acrylic copolymer was cationized by acetic acid to produce acetated acrylic copolymer. The structures of the synthesized copolymer and acetated copolymers were confirmed by IR, NMR, and molecular weight was measured by GPC, and C. H. N elemental analysis. Acetated acrylic copolymers were perfectly emulsified in water and showed increased emulsion stability. Polymer dispersion for cement modifier(PDCM-PDD) was prepared by blending of the guaternized acrylic copolymer synthesized above sodium silicate sodium gluconate oleic acid and triethanol amine. The result with prepared polymer dispersion of cement modfier was examined, and it was found that excellent waterproffing effect; Water permeability ratio is 0.44 under the water pressure of $100g/cm^2$ and 0.55 under $3kg/cm^2$, and water absorption ratio is 0.36~0.47 and 1.02 compressive strength ratio at mixed ratio of water/PDCM-PDD is 45 times.

  • Urethane waterproofing materials which currently being used most commonly in the Korean domestic market have high applicability and construct layers without forming any joints, but under the influence of low temperature and low humidity, as well as the thickness of the applied layer, the curing time of this material may become extended in construction sites. To resolve these issues, a proposed method of using water-hardening type of polyurethane waterproofing materials are being developed. However, there currently lacks any standards or evaluation methods on determining an optimal mixture ratio of water for the water-hardening polyurethane waterproofing materials. Therefore, workers and construction workers are relying on their hands-on-skills and experience to determine this ratio and are not able to obtain a consistent performance quality out of these materials. Therefore, for the establishment of a board applicability of the water-hardening polyurethane waterproofing methods in construction sites, this study objectively analyzes the changes in the performance of these materials depending on the changes of the water mixture ratio and attempts to procure the optimal ratio on the basis of forming a provisionary standard. The study prepares mixtures of varying ratio(no water added, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50) and conducts comparative analysis respective mixtures' performances and their changes in the physical properties in an objective manner and proposes a provisional optimal value that can serve as a data base that can be used as a reference for future studies.

  • In this study, a survey was conducted on the required measurement and waterproofing performance for residential building underground structure leakage prevention system. According to the results of the survey, it has been determined that leakage problem is considered to be quite severe, and many respondents have agreed. The legal guidelines and regulation systems do not reflect properly on the environmental requirements or conditions, resulting in continued leakage problem. In regards to this, a standardized waterproofing technique that can be used in underground areas of residential structures is required as an obligation and the development of high performance waterproofing method that allows for wet concrete surface adhesion and a guideline, design and maintenance method that allows the control of overall situational control of leakage is required.

  • Underground structures without the expansion joint in the settled intervals, the underground structures may suffer from structural crack and the water leakage thereby resulting in the occurance of the efflorescence. In this study, the performance of new expansion joint used in underground structures were verified. The spacing of expansion joint was defined by the finite element analysis. Expansion length, resistance and waterproofing performance of developed expansion joint were confirmed by experiment.

  • 최근 여름철 기상이변과 게릴라성 집중호우로 인해 대도시 유역의 첨두홍수량은 급격히 증가하고 있으나, 대도시 지역은 비도심 지역에 비해 하천 확폭이나 제방 증고에 많은 제약이 있다. 이에 대한 도심지역의 홍수 예방대책으로 유역을 전환시키는 방수로는 하천통수능력을 초과하는 홍수량을 유역상류부에서 호수나 바다로 방류할 수 있어 하류지역 홍수부하량을 감소시켜 침수피해를 막을 수 있는 매우 효과적인 방안이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 사업 진행중인 굴포천방수로를 통한 굴포천 유역의 치수효과를 수치해석 및 실제 홍수처리 사례를 통해 분석하고자 한다.

  • In this study on the appliable Asphalt sheet of monolithic and inorganic matter waterproofing material using of field because of problem of complex waterproofing sheet. Before this cement polymer modified waterproof coating and appliable asphalt sheet of monolithic whether have stability by method of construction about all style waterproofing that evaluate to new method of construction development naturally big emphasis put and try to approach. Did performance test item first at, as a result, drew by suitable thing in all KS items. This is considered to have more effective spot construction work because if means that have stability by material as well as method of construction.

  • The introduction of materials and methods of construction which are appropriated to property of green roofs could be a decisive factor in a long-range durability and economical maintenance cost, moreover, it support to variety construction system and organization. In this paper I focused to assure the basic system for waterproofing materials and root barrier apply to green roof as searching the application of field condition. And I suggest proper waterproofing and root barrier as considering the mutual connection and plant growth. and it can be a standard model to adopt to domestic green roof system.

  • This study was performed to obtain data which can be applied to use of water-proof mortars. The data was based on the properties of water-proof mortars depending upon various mixing ratios to compare those of cement mortar. The water-proof agents used were retard and accelerate type which are being used as mortar structures. The water-proof agents, mixing ratios of cement to fine aggregate were 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4. The results obtained were summarised as follows; 1. The results of flow test, water-cement ratio was increased with the increasing of mixing ratio. 2. The permeability were increased in poorer mixing ratio and higher water pressure. 3. The bulk density was decreased with the increasing of mixing ratio, and compressive and tensile strength were increased with increasing of the bulk density. 4. At 1:1 mixing ratio, the highest strengths were showed and strengths were decreased with the increasing of mixing ratio. 5. The absorption rates were increased in- poorer mixing ratio 6. The correlation between W/C, permeability, bulk density, compressive strength and absorption rate were highly significant as a straight line, respectively.
