The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) for the realization of high-sensitivity radiation detection in portable detectors. Portable X-ray detectors offer the advantage of quickly accessing the patient's location and obtaining real-time images, allowing physicians to perform rapid diagnoses. However, this mobility comes with challenges in achieving accurate radiation detection. In existing detectors, SiPM is used for a simple purpose of detecting X-ray triggers. To verify the feasibility of high-sensitivity X-ray detection through SiPM, seven types of SiPM sensors were compared and selected, and their characteristics were analyzed. The SiPM used in the final test demonstrated the ability to distinguish signals at the ultra-low radiation level of 10 nGy, and it was observed that the slope of the signal rise curve varies with the X-ray tube voltage. Utilizing the characteristics of SiPM, which exhibits changes in signal level and duration with X-ray dose, it appears possible to achieve high-sensitivity measurements for X-ray detection.

Stereo-based spatial radiation detection devices can obtain not only spatial distribution information about the radiation source but also distance information from the detection device to the source. And it provides more efficient information on the source than the existing radiation imaging device. In order to provide high-speed information on the spectrum and type of gamma-ray source, a high-sensitivity detection sensor with high sensitivity is required, and a technique capable of solving the saturation phenomenon at a high dose is needed. In this paper, we constructed a high sensitivity sensor for the measurement of multiple gamma - ray spatial distributions using improved function of detection module to solve saturation to high dose and conducted research to increase the scope of a single detector. The result of this paper improves the performance of gamma ray.
The semiconductor detector has a high sensitive to radiation and a small volume. It has been frequently used in high energy photon and electron beamdosimetry. However, Semiconductor detector are subject to radiation damage in high energy radiation beam which reduces the sensitivity and creat a large discrepancy. In this experiments, P-type semiconductor was irradiated to 18 MeV electron beam with pre-irradiation for reducing the sensitivity for high reproducibility and investigated the dose characteristics against the dose rate variations. The sensitivity per unit dose in small dose rate showed a 35% large different to a large dose rate with pre-irradiation dose for 0.5 KGy and 20% for 3 KGyin this study. The silicon detector has showed a large dependency of beam direction with 13% discrepancy and a linear sensitive as increased temperature.
This study investigated the correlation between the characteristics of collimator in accordance with the efficiency of detecting photon signals and the quantitative analysis of the lung function, thereby assessing the possibility of clinically applying high sensitivity lung ventilation SPECT. From March to May, 2014, 10 subjects in normal volunteers underwent an ultra high resolution, high resolution and high sensitivity collimator planar scan and SPECT. The experiment showed that compared with the collimator scan, the quantitative analysis results were significant (p=0.89), and compared to the high resolution collimator SPECT, the time was reduced by 4.9 fold. Therefore, the lung ventilation SPECT that had not been used due to an undermined effectiveness can offer usefulness when clinically applied if a high sensitivity collimator is used since the quality and quantity of information and the duration of scan time all offer an improvement.
Due to their excellence for the high-energy therapy range of photon beams, researchers show increasing interest in applying MOSFET dosimeters to low- and medium-energy applications. In this energy range, however, MOSFET dosimeter is complicated by the fact that the interaction probability of photons shows significant dependence on the atomic number, Z, due to photoelectric effect. The objective of this study is to develop a very detailed 3-dimensional Monte Carlo simulation model of a MOSFET dosimeter for radiological characterizations and calibrations. The sensitive volume of the High-Sensitivity MOSFET dosimeter is very thin (1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) and the standard MCNP tallies do not accurately determine absorbed dose to the sensitive volume. Therefore, we need to score the energy deposition directly from electrons. The developed model was then used to study various radiological characteristics of the MOSFET dosimeter. the energy dependence was quantified for the energy range 15 keV to 6 MeV; finding maximum dependence of 6.6 at about 40 keV. A commercial computer code, Sabrina, was used to read the particle track information from an MCNP simulation and count the tracks of simulated electrons. The MOSFET dosimeter estimated the calibration factor by 1.16 when the dosimeter was at 15 cm depth in tissue phantom for 662 keV incident photons. Our results showed that the MOSFET dosimeter estimated by 1.11 for 1.25 MeV photons for the same condition.

In this study, we made a high efficiency x-ray detecting sensor using the lead oxide(PbO) that are used in direct method of x-ray detector. PbO with nano size particles is produced by sol-gel method for high efficiency. The produced PbO with nano size is deposited on ITO(Induim Tin Oxide) glass in several temperature using the PIB(particle-in-binder) method. The thickness of the deposited PbO is about $200{\mu}m$. Through the measurement of dark current, sensitivity and SNR(Signal To Noise Ratio), an electrical properties of the produced PbO film are analyzed. Therefore, we show that an electrical properties are changed according to a temperature and that the PbO film that was treated at $500^{\circ}C$ in O2 atmosphere is the most high efficiency x-ray detecting sensor.
It is well known that assurance of the radiation therapy needs for an accuracy of $\pm$ 5 % in the delivery of an absorbed dose to target volume. Therefore, the dose evaluation of brachytherapy source and/or linear accelerate beam must be a stability with accuracy. In an advanced country, they recommended to use the radioactive check source for reference air ionization chamber for a stable response of radiation field chamber. In this experiments, the radioactive source Sr-90 and PR-05 air ionization chamber were used for standard source and reference ion chamber. The response of reference ion chamber showed as an 1.000$\pm$ 0.010 uncertainty for 10 years long and the evaliuation f dose discrepancy of clinical field ion chamber showed as 0.997 $\pm$0.011 in a $^{60}$ Co brachytherapy soruce. In our experiments, we can assuarance the long halflife standard source is reliable to preserve the calibration factor of reference chamber in stability.
The smear media possible to sampling and radiation detection was prepared and evaluated for the surface contamination using indirect method. The films were made by impregnating Cerium Activated Yttrium Silicate (CAYS) in a polysulfone membrane. The membranes used solution as a dimethylformamide (DMF) and methylene chloride (MC), polysulfone as a polymer matrix and CAYS as a inorganic scintillator. The proximity membranes were prepared with single- and double-layered structure. The solidified methods were immersion to the nonsolvent bath such at water and ethanol and solvent evaporation. The measurement of the photon produced by interaction with radiation and inorganic scintillator used a photomultiflier tube (PMT), amplifier, and counter. In the comparison with the low background alpha/beta counter, the counter rate using inorganic scintillator proximity membrane for the $\^$14/C surface contamination was about 50%. Also. the $^3$H counting results revealed that the prepared membranes were efficient to monitor the surface contaminated with the low energy be-ray emitter nuclides.
