  • The evaluation standard method of weld zone in rails is not exhibited in case of the domestic and the outside about ultrasonic inspection method. therefore, practical affairs a mans on the ground know very little about evaluation method of pass and failure. This paper discuss about ultrasonic exploration of weld zone in railway rails to know practical affairs a mans that the first, "problem and improvement direction of domestic track construction specifications applied according to a place ordering" and the second, "the method applied of ultrasonic exploration test of weld zone in railway rails".

  • 국내 조선소와 학교, 연구소에서 1990년대 중반 이전의 빙해선박에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않았다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 하지만 2000년대 초반부터 러시아가 St. Petersburg항을 통해 본격적으로 원유를 수출하기 시작하면서 내빙선 시장이 호황을 맞이하게 되었고 빙해선박 특히 내빙선박에 대한 관심이 집중되었다. 당시에 한국의 조선소들은 FMA rule 상의 엔진 출력이 과도한 것을 인지하고, 적정한 엔진 사양을 파악하기 위한 공격적인 연구개발로 ICE Class 1A, 1B, 1C의 선박을 상당히 많이 수주하여 선주에게 인도하였다. 또한 Ice belt의 구조적인 보강을 하기위한 설계와 연구가 활발히 진행되었다. 내빙선에 이어 쇄빙선의 연구에 관심을 집중시킨 선박은 최근 실해역에서 활동 중인 연구 조사선 "아라온"호 이다. 아라온호는 설계와 건조가 국내 조선소에서 이루어졌으며, 학계와 조선소 및 연구소에 쇄빙선에 대한 관심을 불러 일으켰다. 이와 비슷한 시기에 삼성 중공업에서 세계 최대 쇄빙선인 70K shuttle tanker를 수주 및 인도하면서 대형 쇄빙선 시장이 개척되어 국내외 조선소의 큰 관심을 불러일으키고 있다. 쇄빙 기술이 응용된 선박으로 Drill ship과 LNG FPSO등이 수주되어 현재 설계를 진행 중이다. 가장 최근에 현대중공업에서 수주한 원통형 FPSO의 경우 북해 지역에 투입을 목적으로 언론에 발표된 것과는 달리 발주처와 유럽의 관련 연구기관에서는 러시아 유전지역 투입을 염두에 두고 쇄빙관련 연구를 진행한 것으로 파악되고 있다. 본 기고에서는 이러한 빙해선박의 개발 및 건조 사례 현황을 기술하고, 향후 수주가능성이 있는 쇄빙선 분야와 조선소의 대응 전략 등에 대해서 정리해 보고자 한다.

  • This study shows details of a specific space truss frame structure devised to carry out maintenance and repair temporary works in tunnels. The purpose of this study is to verify structural safety and function of the innovative truss structure through an analysis tool, i.e.. ABAQUS, which is a suite of software application for finite element analysis and computer aided engineering. And then optimized size, i.e., thickness and diameter of truss members is evaluated in practice. In this study, construction methods in the temporary works are additionally represented by using the new space truss frame structure.

  • In recent years, BIM services have been used in many construction projects. However, they are raising the question that there are many differences between what was initially proposed and what was actually done. In the IT sector, a method called as SLA is used to perform an assessment of the services delivered to the IT service project. In this respect, this study intends to introduce this method into building construction projects to use BIM in order to propose evaluation criteria and the evaluation process for SLA-based BIM service. The BIM service assessment process and criteria presented are judged to help introduce consistent and systematic BIM services in construction projects.

  • When the revegetation of the slopes is required, it is more desirable to consider it from the ecological view point rather than from the disaster-preventive one because the environment is critical for the introduction of pioneer plants to the denuded slopes. The ecological point of view adheres to the maintenance of the present, original ecosystem of the construction area. The new revegetation technology is presented using native microorganisms and its effective usuage was discussed based on the data in the research field. Direct seeding is recommended and explained in detail than planting seedlings. The importance of inclination angle of slope face is shown for the successful revegetation from its relationship with the thickness of soil. It is indicated that the introduction of pilot plants to the slopes should include their ability to ease the acid rain effects as much as possible. Finally every construction may not be desirable for the maintenance and improvement of the global ecosystem without the consideration of the opinions mentioned above.

  • Recently, interest in the safety and maintenance of the structures is growing. However, due to the low-cost order placed by the ordering organization, the safety diagnosis specialized institution becomes insolvent and many problems have arisen due to insufficient inspection and diagnosis. Therefore, in this study, the current status of bid cost was examined through the survey of the practitioners and case analysis. As a result, Precision safety inspection is deemed that it is necessary to increase the efficiency of the criteria cost and to strengthen the rigidity of the criteria cost rather than adjusting the criteria cost. Precision safety diagnosis, the criteria cost for structures with a floor area of less than $10,000m^2$ is lowered to 80 % from the current standard. For structures larger than that, the current criteria cost are applied, but it is deemed necessary to strengthen the rigidity of the criteria cost.

  • The Construction Management for the Asan Baebang Complex Development PF Project is aiming the solution for the needs of specialized organization and management for the construction of the project, as a independent representative managing the whole process of the super high rise and huge volume of complex project. This case shall be counted as a remarkable one in the point of view that the CM was decided to be encountered even in this consortium project made between the private firm and government, and shows that the project can be executed successfully without having its own organization of a huge number of staffs. This study is for the Construction Management applied for the consortium project between the private firm and government and it is my pleasure if this study could be a help to encourage CM for wide applying in the field by reviewing of its necessity and analyzing of its effect and advantage.

  • BIM(Building Information Modeling) technologies should be applied for the construction life cycle to maximize its efficiency, but the utilization for the construction phase has been significantly lower than that for the planning and design phase. Recently, some of BIM techniques such as 3D design review, 4D schedule management and so on are being introduced for efficient managing to the big national construction projects. In this study, the utilization plans of BIM are presented for the construction phase of civil engineering facilities. The methods of utilization of BIM are discussed for each type of construction, and the techniques applied to the Seoul Subway Lot No. 919 are analyzed for checking the applicability and usability. In particular, a web construction management system based on BIM can help field engineers, headquarters and contractors to use BIM more effectively, and it can be extended to maintenance phase for more efficiencies.

  • The appearance of the large distribution facility of large enterprise putting first reaches get to the various effect until change of leisure life and life pattern of the consumers from the distribution industry of the interior of a country. Competition of the distribution facility upgrade of the distribution facility and it shows the aspect which becomes the semi-department store, and construction cost is appearing different in proportion to each form or scale. Therefore, purpose of this study was to facilitate amicable construction progress between the owner and the builder through estimating the proper construction cost. This study investigated and analyzed the actual cost of 15 domestic distribution facilities and these datums were used to estimate the proper construction cost. This cost shows that from new project accomplishment through analysis of prediction construction cost for feasibility study from initial plan and design step and can be utilizable elementary data bH decision method to whether or not to propriety of distribution facilities business.

  • The government introduced a waste disposal share system to reduce the annual increase in construction waste and to increase the recycling rate. As a result, the cost of waste treatment by public institutions is growing inevitably, causing disagreements and disputes between the public owner and the construction waste treatment company. They are also arguing for an increase in construction waste disposal costs. Therefore, in this study, an on-site survey was conducted to identify the current construction waste management problems and to find improvements. The survey was conducted for supervisors of public institutions, construction companies, and those related to waste treatment companies. The survey results were analyzed by dividing the construction waste management, regulations, treatment cost, and treatment method. The results of this study were used as primary data for changes in the construction waste guidelines and waste treatment costs of public institutions.
