The Effects of Teachers' DAP Beliefs and Teacher Efficacy on Conflict Resolution Attitudes (보육교사의 발달에 적합한 실제(DAP)에 대한 신념 및 교사효능감이 갈등해결태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of teachers' DAP beliefs and teacher efficacy on the conflict resolution attitudes of teachers. The study was based on the survey data from 128 early childhood teachers working in day care centers in the Incheon area. The valuables were all measured by teachers. The collected data were analyzed by Manova and Logistic Regression. The main results of this study were as follows. Firstly, there was a significant difference in collaborating and avoiding types of conflict resolution attitudes according to only age among demographic variables. Secondly, teachers' DAP beliefs and teacher efficacy were positively related to the collaborating type but negatively related to avoiding and competing types of conflict resolution attitudes. Finally, teachers' DAP beliefs and teacher efficacy had positive effects on cooperative conflict resolution attitudes after controling for demographic variables. Our findings indicate that teachers' DAP beliefs and teacher efficacy have effects on their conflict resolution attitudes during preschoolers' peer conflicts.

  • This paper analyzed historical changes in early childhood curriculums from the 19th century to the present. The early childhood curriculum model of the past was based on a modernistic perspective characterized by science, rationality, objectivity, absolutism, and universality. It had been developed in terms of early human resource development to maximize efficiency and rationality for the future. In recent years, however, change occurred in the paradigm of education with the application of phenomenology, analytics, and postmodernism. Newer models for early childhood curriculum include the Reggio Emilia and Developmentally Appropriate Practice, which constitute the current mainstream of early childhood curriculum.

  • 정보통신 기기의 발달에 따라 스마트 러닝으로 교육방법이 진화하고 있다. 스마트 러닝에 있어서 학습자의 관심분야에 맞는 적절한 콘텐츠의 제공이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 텍스트 분류 기술을 이용하여 학습자의 SNS 데이터로부터 관심분야를 자동적으로 파악해내는 시스템을 제안한다. 텍스트 분류를 위해 카테고리 별로 기 분류되어있는 데이터를 수집하여 기계 학습을 수행하였다. 텍스트 분류의 정확도 향상을 위해 카테고리 분류 단위 크기를 변화시키면서 정확도를 측정하고 분석하여 실제 서비스에 적용 가능한 수준으로 판단되는 82.5%의 정확도를 얻었다.

A Case Study of a Teacher's Pedagogical Content Knowledge Development in Teaching Science : Focusing on the Relationship between Knowledge Domains (과학 교수를 위한 교사의 교과교육학 지식의 발달 : 지식 영역간의 관계를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore how an elementary school teacher developed PCK by utilizing her knowledge domains in teaching practice, regarding the specific science topic of 'animals:' A case study approach was adopted with the participation of a 1st grade teacher, in a poor urban neighborhood elementary school in NYC. Data was collected through interview and the participant observation method in order to investigate: a) the teacher's existing knowledge base in terms of subject matter knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and contextual knowledge; b) how she develops PCK during classroom practice, centering on the relationship between knowledge domains. The findings illustrate the ways in which the three knowledge domains are closely related and developed as PCK through the whole teaching process. In particular, the findings indicate that the teacher's contextual knowledge plays a critical role in shaping and developing PCK. Before instruction, her contextual knowledge regarding the administrative policies and the school test system in the district enabled her to make decisions and plans about teaching science. During classroom teaching, her knowledge of students' sociocultural backgrounds and living conditions in the urban setting helped her to identify specific teaching strategies and resources suitable to the students' needs and interests. The study results imply that science instruction can be more feasible in meeting the demands of particular groups of students if teachers make an effort to become knowledgeable about their own teaching context and utilize it in developing their PCK.

Developmental Difference in Metacognitive Accuracy between High School Students and College Students (메타인지 정확성의 발달 차이 연구: 고등학생과 대학생 데이터)

  • Metacognitive monitoring refers to high dimensional cognitive activities. Understanding one's own cognitive processes accurately can make effective controls for their performance. Brain area related with metacognition is PFC which is completed the order of late and it can be inferred that monitoring abilities is developing during late adolescent. In this study, we explored the developmental difference in monitoring accuracy between high school students and college students using by measuring JOL(Judgment of Learning). Participants was asked that they study Spanish-Korean word pairs and judge their future performance of memory. In the result, people in both groups thought that they could remember word pairs better than their actual performance. Absolute bias scores which mean the degree to predict their performance apart from true scores showed the interaction between subject groups and task difficulty. Specifically, people judged their learning state quite accurately in easy task condition. However, in difficult task condition, both groups showed inaccuracy for predicting their learning and the magnitude of the degree was bigger in the group of high school students.

  • This paper is to research about design and drive system of a switched reluctance motor for a pallet truck application. SRM is suitable for a pulse type source and is researched for home and industrial applications owing to the advance of power electronics technology. An SRM for a pallet truck drive is developed and tested. The drive system has to operate with low voltage and high current. The small size, robustness and high efficiency make it possible to replace with DC motor which is used in a pallet truck conventionally. Test results show that pallet truck with SRM has better drive characteristics than that of the DC motor performance.

How to use Board Games in the Early Childhood Education Field - Based on the 2019 Revised Nuri-curriculum (개정 누리과정에 기초한 유아교육현장의 보드게임 활용 가능성)

  • The aims of this study were to examine the grounds for the appropriateness of board games in daycare centers and kindergartens based on the child-centered, play-centerd activities of revised Nuri-curriculum and provide basic resources by the case studies of board game activities in each area of the Nuri-curriculum. For these aims, it suggested the rationale of board game use in early childhood education field: first, the value as an activity with concrete objects based on developmentally appropriate practice (DAP), second, children's voluntary participation and immersion due to the competition and rewards in gamification, third, integrated experience across all areas of the Nuri-curriculum. Also, it provided various samples of the integrated board game activities for children, and reviewed the precaution, pros and cons that emerged during the play. This study discussed the possibility and direction of board game activities in early childhood education and provided implications for organizing board game activities in the education field and developing new board game contents.

  • The perception that programming is difficult is spread among learners. Indeed, in college education, the dropout rate of programming classes is higher than in other courses. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the cognitive aspects of why learners think programming is difficult and then to propose appropriate teaching strategies for them. Recently, studies are under way to understand how the brain learns and is most effective in what situations, based on the development of brain science. This is the study of brain-compatible learning. The purpose of this study is to propose an instructional design on programming lessons based on brain-compatible learning principles.

원전 수명 관리 연구 및 주기적 안전성 검토

  • 국내 가동 원전의 운전 연수가 증가함에 따라 장기 사용 원전의 안전성 향상과 수명 관리 연구가 진행되고 있다. 원전 수명 관리는 발전소 운전 안전성과 성능을 유지하면서 최적 경제 시점인 최적 수명까지 발전소를 운전하기 위한 제반 기술 활동이다. 적절한 수명 관리로 원전을 최적 수명까지 운전하더라도 발전소는 노화에 의해 운전 안전성이 영향을 받거나 저하되지 않아야 한다. 발전 설비의 노화에는 실제의 기기나 구조물이 경년 열화에 의해 노화되는 물리적 노화와 설계 기술의 발달과 새로운 안전 개념의 적용으로 기존 기술이 낙후하는 비물리적 노화로 구분할 수 있다. 물리적 노화는 기기$\cdot$구조물$\cdot$계통의 물리적 상태 변화로 성능을 저하시키고, 비물리적 노화는 발전소 계통의 안전 개념$\cdot$기준$\cdot$기술이 새롭게 변화되지 않은 것이다. 본 논문에서는 물리적 노화는 수명 관리 연구, 비물리적 노화는 안전성 관리의 측면에서 검토하였고, 두 분야의 국내외 연구 현황$\cdot$개념$\cdot$추진 방법$\cdot$상호 관계 등을 살펴보고, 상호 유기적인 관계를 보완 할 수 있는 제도적 장치 도입 및 적용 방안에 대해 논하였다.

  • 최근에는 ATM, Fast Switched LAN, Fiber Channel과 같은 고속의 네트워크의 발달로 인해 분산 환경의 네트워크 파일 시스템에서 디스크를 접근하는 속도보다 원격지 클라이언트의 메모리를 접근하는 속도가 현저하게 증가되었다. 실제로 이와 같은 고속 네트워크 환경을 기반으로 하여 각 서버와 저장 장치를 분리하여 대용량 데이터를 관리하는 SAN(Storage Area Network)과 같은 새로운 네트워크 저장 시스템이 출연하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 새로운 분산 네트워크 파일 저장 시스템 환경에서 필수적으로 고려되어야 하는 광역 버퍼관리기를 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구현된 광역 버퍼 관리기는 크게 데이터 룩업과 버퍼리스트 관리 부분으로 나누어 구성되어 있으며, 이를 위한 적절한 자죠 구조와 시스템 내에 있는 각 호스트간의 버퍼블록정보 유지를 위한 방안 및 기존 운영체제의 커널내 버퍼 관리기와 통합하는 방안을 제시한다.
