본 논문은 천해에서의 전구 음원 특성 연구를 수행하였다. 일반적으로 전구 음원의 특성은 수심에 따라 달라지며, 크기와 같은 물리적인 요인에 의해서도 달라지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 최근 전구 음원의 저주파 광대역 음원로써의 사용 가능성에 관한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해상 실험 자료 분석을 통해 전구 음원 특성을 분석하였으며, 연구 결과 전구 음원이 천해에서 저주파 광대역 음원으로써 사용 가능함을 확인하였다.

Purpose: Cachexia is a complex metabolic syndrome associated with wasting of skeletal muscle which contributes to nearly one-third of all cancer deaths. Cachexia lowers the frequency of response to chemotherapy and radiation and ultimately can impact survival as well as quality of life during treatment. NF-kappa B is one of the most important molecular mediators of cachexia. In this study, therefore, possible candidates for inhibitors of NF-kappa B were searched. Methods: Amino acids that regulate cellular redox potential by adjusting the level of NAD/NADH ratio, such as aspartate, pyruvate, and isocitrate were selected. Results: Pyruvate effectively inhibited luciferase activity in TNF-stimulated 293T cells transfect with an NF-kB dependent luciferase reporter vector. Pyruvate also showed protective effect on muscle atrophy of differentiated C2C12 myocyte induced by TNF/IFN. Conclusion: We might be able to develop the nutritional management strategy for cancer cachexia patients with pyruvate supplementation.

For an efficient operation of today's power system, power engineers are required to analyze enormous amount of data. Owing to the development of technology, a variety of power systems computational tools have been developed and commercialized. However, the practical use of computational tools not only requires that people be able to understand the results the tools produce but also extract the required information from the simulation results which generally involves massive amount of information. This paper introduces a novel interface that would complement the drawbacks in the visualization of data of the pre-existing tools and assist the user in readily retrieving the required information, in this case the rotor angle data, of the simulated system thereby making power system analysis more feasible to be effectuated.

차세대 인터넷 사용자들을 위해서는 이동하면서 연속적으로 인터넷에 접속하고 통신할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 필수적이다. 현재까지 Mobile IT를 기점으로 다양한 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 프로토콜들이 제안되어 왔다. 그런데 최근에는 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과는 전혀 다른 접근 방식으로서, 트랜스포트 계층에서 이동성을 지원하는 방안이 언급되고 있다. 트랜스포트 계층에서의 이동성 지원은 기존 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안처럼 코어 네트워크에 홈 에이전트나 외부 에이전트와 같은 특별한 엔터티들의 추가를 요구하지 않기 때문에 디플로이가 상대적으로 용이하며, 종단 간 이동성을 지원할 수 있기 때문에 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안에서 발생하는 터널링 오버헤드나 비효율적인 라우팅 문제를 피할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 차세대 인터넷 환경인 IPv6 네트워크에서 WLAN 기반의 트랜스포트 계층 이동성 지원 방안을 제안한다 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 방안이 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과 대등한 성능을 보임을 확인하였고, 특히 이동 노드의 속도가 빠를 때 새로운 네트워크에서의 IT 주소 획득 시간이 길 때, 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안보다 더 좋은 성능을 제공함을 볼 수 있었다.

We categorize quality management practices as two factors ; 'infra factor' and 'process factor.' We confirm the factors' statistical significance with empirical investigation about 167 manufacturing companies in nationwide. Moreover, we find the two factors affect positively on the manufacturing capabilities of differentiation and reliability, and on the performances as improving products and process. We prove these results with empirical method of structural equation model and AMOS program.

Vertebroplasty has drawn much attention as a medical treatment for the compression fracture of spine, which strengthens the vertebral body and corrects deformity, and relieves pain in patients by injecting bone cement. However vertebroplasty can cause fracture on adjacent vertebra due to relative stiffness change. This study involves the biomechanical evaluation of the vertebroplasty especially on adjacent vertebral body. The finite element method has been employed to analyze the patient who was treated vertebroplasty under static and dynamic loading. For this study, a three-dimentioal model of the three-level ligamentous lumbar segment ($L1{\sim}L3$)is created from medical image data (CT)and compared with the experimental results in vitro.

We establish two models -'intermediate' role model and 'infra-structural' role model - to confirm what role the concepts of 'long-term orientation' and 'asset specificity' execute in the context of supply chain management practices affect on SCM performances. We confirm the model's statistical significance with empirical investigation about 167 manufacturing companies in all over the country. As a result, we find that real data fits to 'infra-structural' role model with added paths of concepts and variables rather to 'intermediate' role model. We prove these results with empirical method of confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model with AMOS program.

내장형 시스템(Embedded System)은 운영체제와 함께 사용자가 원하는 목적과 기능의 응용 프로그램을 내장하여 원하는 작업을 할 수 있도록 해주며, 각종 전자기기들이 디지털화 되면서 각종 기능들을 제어하기 위한 운영체제로서 내장형 운영체제가 주목을 받기 시작하였다. 데스크탑 시스템과 내장형 시스템의 하드웨어 특성과 요구사항은 서로 다르기 때문에 데스크탑 기반의 Unix 운영체제로 널리 쓰이고 있는 GNU/Linux를 내장형 시스템의 운영쳬제로 사용하기 위에서는 여러 가지 운영체제 구성 요소들에 대한 최적화가 뒤따라야 한다. GNU/Linux의 최적화를 위해 고려해 볼 수 있는 다섯 가지 방법을 설명하고, 실례로서 LRP에서 만든 결과를 분석해 보기로 한다.

Characteristic of aluminum ignition under high temperature and high pressure is studied using lasers. The laser ablation method is used to generate aluminum particles exposed to a high pressure by using a nanosecond pulsed laser where the range of ablation pressure varies between 0.35 and 2.2 GPa. A $CO_2$ laser is used to supply radiative heat to the aluminum target surface for providing high temperature ranging between 5000~9300 Kelvin. The ignition is confirmed using spectroscopy analysis of AlO vibronic band 484 nm wavelength. Also the radiative temperature is measured in various high pressure range for tracing the ignition temperature in high pressure conditions.
