Time Domain Reflectometry(TDR) 기법을 응용하여 극초단파 대역을 포함하는 광대역 주파수범위에서 절연유의 유전율을 쉽게 측정할 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 수 GHz 이상의 대역에서의 절연유 유전율은 전자파를 이용한 전력용 변압기 부분방전 발생위치 추정에 필수적인 정보이나 기존의 방법으로 간단히 측정할 수 없었다. 본 기법은 동축구조에서 전자파 진행속도가 절연매질 유전율의 함수로 인가된 펄스파의 매질에 대한 동축선로에서 진행시간을 계산함으로써 유전율을 구하는 간단한 방법이다. 제안한 새로운 방법을 이용해 절연유중 1종4호 신유의 경우 광대역에서의 유전율은 2.1임을 알 수 있었다.

Longitudinal wave tests with finite elastic medium were performed to investigate the difference between measured values and theoretical values of propagation velocity and elasticity modulus. Each accelerometer was attached on finite elastic medium with same phase and different positions to check the particle motion. The results show that measured values of elasticity moduli from both time domain and frequency domain were similiar to theoretical value. Polarity of signal depends entirely on the phase of accelerometer. It proved that the propagation velocity and the particle motion are in the same direction when a compressive stress is applied. And also the propagation velocity and the particle motion depend on the intensity of the stress and material properties respectively.

우리 협회는 2003년 행정자치부의 민간단체 공익활동 지원사업의 일환으로 자금을 지원 받아 서산시와 함께 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동' 시범사업을 전개했었다. 그 당시 서산시에서는 서산시립도서관을 중심으로 '서산시민 모두가 책 한 권을 함께 읽는다면'이라는 주제로 창작 동화 "마당을 나온 암탉"을 읽고 저자강연회, 원화전시회, 영화상영, 각 종 토론회를 개최하는 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 지역 독서 운동을 이끌었다. 서산시는 2004년 전년의 경험을 바탕으로 자체적으로 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동'을 전개하고 있는데, 모든 시민이 함께 읽을 책으로 창작 동화집 박기범의 "문제아"를 선정하였다. 그 이후 진행된 다양한 행사 중에는 현직 아나운서들이 직접 서산시내 학교를 방문하여 아이들에게 책을 읽어 주는 '낭독회'가 있었다. 사회 유명인사들의 도서관 문화 프로그램 참여의 좋은 계기가 될만한 이번 행사에 참가한 이익선, 정현경, 박시준 아나운서를 도서관문화편집팀이 만나보았다.

엘크 사슴고기(Elk deer, Cervus elaphus andadensis)에서 생산된 등심(T1)과 뒷다리살(T2)에 대한 품질 특성을 파악코자 실시되었으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. T2가 T1보다 수분 함량은 낮고, 단백질 함량은 높았으며, 전단가는 낮고 보수력은 높았다. 육색 측정 결과 T1 및 T2간 명도, 적색도, 황색도 모두 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 조직특성 조사에서 경도, 부착성, 검성 및 파쇄성은 유의적인 차이가 있었으나, 응집성과 탄력성은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 지방산 분석결과, SFA와 UFA는 두 부위 간 유의적인 차이가 없었으나 EFA는 T1이 유의적으로 높았다.

본 연구는 지도제작시 지도의 특성을 쉽게 인식하고, 자동화율을 향상시키기 위한 지형도 도식을 고안하였다. 지도 도식은 단순 명료하며, 기존의 지형도와 최대한 유사한 형태의 지도가 출력될 수 있도록 하는 원칙을 가지고 1/5,000 수치지도 Ver 2.0을 이용하여 수행하였다. 이를 위해 지도제작에 필요한 정보를 수치지도 Ver 2.0에서 획득하고, 기존 지형도 도식규정에서 표현하는 정보와 비교 분석하여 실무자들과 많은 협의과정을 거친 후, 지도 제작 자동화에 유리하면서 지도의 미적품질을 유지할 수 있는 도식을 고안하였다. 또한 지도제작 자동화 시스템에 의한 1/5,000수치지도 Ver 2.0의 시범제작을 통하여 새로운 도식을 적용한 결과 약 7%의 자동화율 보였으며, 이러한 결과로서 지도제작자동화율이 향상되었음을 알 수 있고, 사용자들이 지도의 특성을 쉽게 인식할 수 있도록 하였으며, 최신의 정보를 보다 손쉽게 얻을 수 있도록 하였다.

Al doped Zinc Oxide(ZnO:Al) films, which is widely used as a transparent conductor in optoelectronic devices such as solar cell, plasma display panel, thermal heater, and other sensors, were prepared by using the capacitively coupled DC magnetron sputtering method. The influence of the substrate temperature, working gas pressure and deposition time on the electrical, optical and morphological properties were investigated experimentally. ZnO:Al films with the optimum growth conditions of working gas pressure and substrate temperature showed resistivity of $9.64{\times}10^{-4}\;{\Omega}$-cm and transmittance of 90.02% for a film 860nm thick in the wavelength range of the visible spectrum.

본 논문은 실시간 운영체제인 Xenomai 를 사용하여, 회전익 무인항공기 소프트웨어 개발에 대한 내용을 설명하고 있다. 실시간 운영체제 사용하여 고정 순위 우선 스케줄링을 채택함으로써 데드라인의 타이밍(Timming) 결정성을 보장하였고, 이기종 시스템과의 호환성과 확장성을 고려하여 POSIX API 를 사용하여 멀티 쓰레드를 구현하였다. 또한 실시간 드라이버 모델(RTDM : Real-Time Driver Model)을 사용하여 획득한 데이터를 실시간 전송이 가능하도록 하였다. 본 논문은 실시간 운영체제를 무인항공기에 적용하고 구현된 비행제어 컴퓨터와 제어 소프트웨어를 비율 단조 스케줄링을 적용하여 무인항공기의 쓰레드들의 응답 속도 및 안정성을 보장하는 방안을 제시하였다.

Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas comprise 7.6% of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHLs) and they are recently recognized B-cell subset of NHLs. They are originated from gastrointestinal tract most frequently but may also occur in other organs including head and neck, lung, skin, thyroid and breast. Primary thyroid lymphomas (PTLs) constitute up to 5% of all thyroid malignancies. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is most common type of PTLs and MALT lymphoma is relatively rare subtype of PTLs. Thyroid MALToma arises in chronic inflammatory conditions with autoimmune or infectious etiologies. The optimal treatment regimen still remains controversial. However, It is reported that localized thyroid MALT lymphoma has excellent survival rate after surgical resection alone. We report a case of 48-years-old woman with primary thyroid MALToma.

The sperm morphology of two Korean frogs, Rana catesbeiana and R. nigromaculata (Ranidae) was studied with the light microscope, scanning and transmission electron microscopes. Sperm heads of the R. catesbeiana and R. nigromaculata were long-cylinder shapes. In the total length of R. nigromaculata sperm ($51.2{\mu}m$) was longer than those of R. catesbeiana ($44.6{\mu}m$). Both R. catesbeiana and R. nigromaculata had the long head and principal piece, and short middle piece, but the neck was undeveloped. The axonemal structures contain a 9+9+2 arrangement of microtubules. The number of mitochondria in middle piece have less than mammalian sperm, which irregular surrounded the axone of the middle piece. In conclusion, R. catesbeiana and R. nigromaculata shared many similar features in sperm heads, neck, middle piece, and a site of mitochondria and axial structure, and it suggests that these species should be closely related.
