Crystallization of a-Si : H thin films deposited by RF plasma CVD method (플라즈마 화학기상증착법으로 성장시킨 수소화 비정질 규소박막의 결정화)

  • Thin films of hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si : H) of different compositions were deposited on Si(100) wafer and glass by RF plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). In the present work, we have investigated the effect of the If. power on the properties, such as optical band gap, transmittance and crystallinity, of crystalline silicon thin films. Raman data show that the material consists of an amorphous and crystalline phase for the co-presence of two peaks centered at 480 and 520cm$^{-1}$. X-ray spectra confirmed of crystallites with (111) orientation at 300w The transmittance of thin films was measured by UV-VIS spectrophotometer. In addition, Si-H chemical bondings were studied by Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy.

A Study on the Mask Fabrication Process for X-ray Lithography (X-선 노광용 마스크 제작공정에 관한 연구)

  • X-ray lithography mask with SiC membrane and Ta absorber patterns has been fabricated using ECR plasma CVD, d.c. magnetron sputtering, and ECR plasma etching. The stress of stoichiometric SiC film was adjusted by rapid thermal annealing under $N_2$, ambient. Adjusting the working pressure during sputtering process resulted in a near-zero residual stress, reasonable density, and smooth surface morphology of Ta film. Cl-based plasma showed a good etching characteristics of Ta, and two-step etching process was implemented to suppress microloading effect fur sub-quarter $\mu\textrm{m}$ patterning.

  • 인체의 치아 및 뼈는 무기질 성분과 단백질로 구성되어 있다. 생체세라믹스의 일종인 수산화아파타이트(Hydroxyapatite, HA; $Ca_{10}(PO_4)_6(OH)_2$)는 결정학적, 화학적으로뼈의 무기질 성분과 거의 유사하여 실제 체내에 들어가면 주위 뼈와 화학적 반응을 하여 단단한 결합을 이루는 생체활성(bioactive)을 가진 것으로 알려져 있다. 또한, 인산삼칼슘(Tri-Calcium Phosphate, TCP; $Ca_3(PO_4)_2$)은 체내에 이식 시 체액에 용해되어 신생골을 유도하는 생체흡수성(bioresorbable) 세라믹스로 알려져 있다. 상기 2종류를 포함한 인산칼슘계 화합물은 우수한 생체친화성에도 불구하고 역학 특성이 낮아, 하중을 거의 받지 않는 분야에만 사용되고 있는 실정이며, 하중을받는 분야(load-bearing part)에 적용하기 위해서는 고강도/고인성의 세라믹스와의 micro-composite이나 인산칼슘계화합물을 금속 표면에 코팅한 macro-composite의 형태로 사용되고 있다. 하중을 거의 받지 않는 분야, 예를 들어 치아 결손부를 보충할 dental shot과 같은 인산칼슘계 다공질 골충전재의 경우에도 취급 시 잘게 파손되는 문제점이 있어 치과의사들이 어려움을 호소하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 HA, TCP의 역학특성을 증진시키고자 소결 공정 제어를 통하여 미세조직을 변화시켰으며, 미세조직 변화에 따른 세포반응성을 골포세포주를 이용하여 평가하였다.

  • This study was conducted to develope a capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (cMUT) which enable to high efficient non-contact transmit and receive the ultrasonic wave in air. Theoretical analysis and finite element analysis of the behavior of membrane (such as resonance frequency, membrane deflection, collapse deflection and collapse voltage) of the cMUT were performed. The design parameters of the cMUT such as the dimension and thickness of membrane, thickness of sacrificial layer, thickness and size of electrode were estimated. The resonance frequency of the membrane increased as the thickness of the membrane increased but decreased as the diameter of the membrane increased. The deflection of the membrane increased as d-c bias voltage increased. The collapse voltage of the membrane was analyzed.

Crystallinity Changes Heat Treatment of Coal Tar Pitch and Phenol Resin used as a Binder for Bulk Graphite Manufacturing (벌크흑연 제조를 위한 결합재로 이용되는 콜타르 핏치 및 페놀수지의 열처리에 의한 결정성 변화)

  • The coal tar pitch and phenol resins are used as binders in artificial graphite manufacture, but there are differences in the initial carbon compound structure. According to the carbonization temperature, it can be expected that there are differences in thermal decomposition behavior, microstructure, and crystallinity change. These properties of the coal tar pitch and phenol resins were compared to each other. As the carbonization temperature of coal tar pitch and phenol resin increases, crystallinity tends to increase. The coal tar pitch went through the carbonization process through the liquid, and it was confirmed that the crystallinity changed rapidly in the temperature range of 500 and 600 ℃, where the microstructure changed quickly. These results confirmed the close correlation between microstructure and crystallinity.

  • Recently, due to the proliferation of IoT sensors, the development of big data and artificial intelligence, time series prediction research on fine dust pollution is actively conducted. However, because the data representing fine dust contamination changes rapidly, traditional time series prediction methods do not provide a level of accuracy that can be used in the field. In this paper, we propose a method that reflects the classification results of environmental conditions through CNN when predicting micro dust contamination using LSTM. Although LSTM and CNN are independent, they are integrated into one network through the interface, so this method is easier to understand than the application LSTM. In the verification experiments of the proposed method using Beijing PM2.5 data, the prediction accuracy and predictive power for the timing of change were consistently improved in various experimental cases.

  • In this study, micro- and submicron particles of itraconazole, a poorly water-soluble antifungal drug, were prepared for improving its aqueous solubility using an ultrasound-assisted supercritical fluid technique, called SAS-EM. The SAS-EM process used in our experiments was different from the conventional SAS-EM in that the ultrasound was applied directly to the spray nozzle. The effect of the ultrasonic power, temperature, and solvent on the formation of itraconazole particles were investigated. Smaller particles were obtained through our SAS-EM process compared with the ASES process, and the mean particle size decreased as the ultrasonic power increased. Our experimental results confirmed that the ultrasound-assisted supercritical fluid process is an efficient method for producing ultrafine particles.

  • This study collects and provides environmental data related to weather by measuring the concentration levels of fine dust at different altitudes, with the aim of forecasting fine dust concentration changes, particularly in the areas where the vulnerable reside. Institutions in the healthcare-related fields can use the real-time data on the changing fine dust concentration, which is collected through different combinations of various measuring devices and drone technologies, which have recently developed at a rapid pace. The study first collects data on the following: PM1 (fine dust particles <1 ㎛ in size), PM2.5 (fine dust particles <2.5 ㎛ in size), and PM10 (fine dust particles <10 ㎛ in size) and predicts respective changes and suggests data on various high levels. The device that was used in the study measured fine dust concentration, humidity, temperature, atmospheric pressure, carbon dioxide, total volatile organic compounds (TVoc), and formaldehyde.

  • This study was performed to investigate the compatibility between 4 dentin adhesives and 4 resin luting cements. Dentin adhesives used in this study were All-Bond 2 (Bisco Inc., Schaumbrug, IL, USA), Clearfil SE-Bond (Kuraray Medical Inc, Osaka, Japan), Prompt L-Pop (3M Dental Products, St. Paul, MN, USA), One-Up Bond F (Tokuyama corp., Tokyo, Japan) Resin luting cements used in this study were Choice (Bisco Inc., Schaumbrug, IL, USA), Panavia F (Kuraray Medical Inc, Osaka, Japan), RelyX ARC (3M Dental Products, St. Paul, MN, USA) Bistite II DC (Tokuyama corp., Tokyo, Japan). Combination of each dentin adhesive and corresponding resin cement was made to 16 experimental groups. Flat dentin surfaces was created on mid-coronal dentin of extracted mandibular third molars, then dentin surface was polished with 320-grit silicon carbide abrasive papers. Indirect resin composite block (Tescera, Bisco) was fabricated. Its surface for bonding to tooth was polished with silicon carbide abrasive papers Each dentin adhesive was treated on tooth surface and resin composite overlay were luted with each resin cement. Each bonded specimen was poured in epoxy resin and sectioned occluso-gingivally into 1.0mm thick slab, then further sectioned into $1.0{\times}1.0mm^2$ composite-dentin beams. Microtensile bond strength was tested at a crosshead speed of 1.0mm/min. The data were analysed by one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple comparison tests The results of this study were as follows, 2-step self-etching dentin adhesive which has additional bonding resin is more comparison than tests. self-etching dentin adhesive.

Microtensile bond strength of resin inlay bonded to dentin treated with various temporary filling materials (임시 가봉재가 상아질과 레진 인레이의 미세인장 결합 강도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study was aimed to determine the effects of temporary sealing materials on microtensile bond strength between resin-coated dentin and resin inlay and to compare the bonding effectiveness of delayed dentin sealing and that of immediate dentin sealing. Materials and Methods: The teeth were divided into 4 groups: group 1, specimens were prepared using delayed dentin sealing after temporary sealing with zinc oxide eugenol (ZOE); group 2, specimens were prepared using immediate dentin sealing and ZOE sealing; group 3, specimens were prepared using immediate dentin sealing and Dycal (Dentsply) sealing; group 4, specimens were prepared using immediately sealed, and then temporarily sealed with a resin-based temporary sealing material. After removing the temporary sealing material, we applied resin adhesive and light-cured. Then the resin inlays were applied and bonded to the cavity with a resin-based cement. The microtensile bond strength of the sectioned specimens were measured with a micro-tensile tester (Bisco Inc.). Significance between the specimen groups were tested by means of one-way ANOVA and multiple Duncan's test. Results: Group 1 showed the lowest bond strength, and group 4 showed the highest bond strength (p < 0.01). When temporary sealing was performed with ZOE, immediate dentin sealing showed a higher bonding strength than delayed dentin sealing (p < 0.01). Conclusions: Based on these results, immediate dentin sealing is more recommended than delayed dentin sealing in bonding a resin inlay to dentin. Also, resin-based temporary sealing materials have shown the best result.
