Movie Recommended System base on Analysis for the User Review utilizing Ontology Visualization (온톨로지 시각화를 활용한 사용자 리뷰 분석 기반 영화 추천 시스템)

  • Recently, researches for the word of mouth(WOM) imply that consumers use WOM informations of products in their purchase process. This study suggests methods using opinion mining and visualization to understand consumers' opinion of each goods and each markets. For this study we conduct research that includes developing domain ontology based on reviews confined to "movie" category because people who want to have watching movie refer other's movie reviews recently, and it is analyzed by opinion mining and visualization. It has differences comparing other researches as conducting attribution classification of evaluation factors and comprising verbal dictionary about evaluation factors when we conduct ontology process for analyzing. We want to prove through the result if research method will be valid. Results derived from this study can be largely divided into three. First, This research explains methods of developing domain ontology using keyword extraction and topic modeling. Second, We visualize reviews of each movie to understand overall audiences' opinion about specific movies. Third, We find clusters that consist of products which evaluated similar assessments in accordance with the evaluation results for the product. Case study of this research largely shows three clusters containing 130 movies that are used according to audiences'opinion.

An Inferencing Semantics from the Image Objects (이미지 객체로부터 의미 정보 추론)

  • With the increase of multimedia information such as images, researches have been realized on how to extract the high-level semantic information from low-level visual information, and a variety of techniques have been proposed to generate this information automatically. However, most of these technologies extract the semantic information between single images, it's difficult to extract semantic information when a combination of multiple objects within the image. In this paper, we extract the visual features of objects within the image and training images stored in the DB and the features of each object are defined by measuring the similarity. Using ontology reasoner, each object feature within images infers the semantic information by positional relation and associative relation. With this, it's possible to infer semantic information between objects within images, we proposed a method for inferring more complicated and a variety of high-level semantic information.

  • Modern culture has describing the year's situation along the social environment. A literary work changed as if the year's situation change. Therefore we can understand the age through the literary work and get knowledge the social request of the year's. This literary works have made a chance to know approaching more closely to user as producing media resources. Recently, IT convergence and digital convergence become a new trend to combine each other academic area and get much synergy effect. In this paper, we propose an application and design of the ontology that needs to make digital content from modern literary work's information. For this works, we specify the structure of the year's literary work and the relation of each factor. The specification method used topic map. Each relation model was specified the connection by topic vector.

Semantic Information Inference among Objects in Image Using Ontology (온톨로지를 이용한 이미지 내 객체사이의 의미 정보 추론)

  • There is a large amount of multimedia data on the web page, and a method of extracting semantic information from low level visual information for accurate retrieval is being studied. However, most of these techniques extract one of information from a single image, so it is difficult to extract semantic information when multiple objects are combined in the image. In this paper, each low-level feature is extracted to extract various objects and backgrounds in an image, and these are divided into predefined backgrounds and objects using SVM. The objects and backgrounds divided in this way are constructed with ontology, infer the semantic information of location and association using inference engine. It's possible to extract the semantic information. We propose this method process the complex and high-level semantic information in image.

Semantic Video Retrieval Based On User Preference (사용자 선호도를 고려한 의미기반 비디오 검색)

  • To ensure access to rapidly growing video collection, video indexing is becoming more and more essential. A database for video should be build for fast searching and extracting the accurate features of video information with more complex characteristics. Moreover, video indexing structure supports efficient retrieval of interesting contents to reflect user preferences. In this paper, we propose semantic video retrieval method based on user preference. Unlikely the previous methods do not consider user preferences. Futhermore, the conventional methods show the result as simple text matching for the user's query that does not supports the semantic search. To overcome these limitations, we develop a method for user preference analysis and present a method of video ontology construction for semantic retrieval. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than previous methods in terms of semantic video retrieval based on user preferences.

Image Retrieval System of semantic Inference using Objects in Images (이미지의 객체에 대한 의미 추론 이미지 검색 시스템)

  • With the increase of multimedia information such as image, researches on extracting high-level semantic information from low-level visual information has been realized, and in order to automatically generate this kind of information. Various technologies have been developed. Generally, image retrieval is widely preceded by comparing colors and shapes among images. In some cases, images with similar color, shape and even meaning are hard to retrieve. In this article, in order to retrieve the object in an image, technical value of middle level is converted into meaning value of middle level. Furthermore, to enhance accuracy of segmentation, K-means algorithm is engaged to compute k values for various images. Thus, object retrieval can be achieved by segmented low-level feature and relationship of meaning is derived from ontology. The method mentioned in this paper is supposed to be an effective approach to retrieve images as required by users.

  • RSS is a core component of Web 2.0 which is expected to lead the most important innovation in the new IT environment. In that sense, it is actively utilized to distribute Web contents in various areas such as news, blog, multimedia, medical information, and conference and journal information. Also, it is expected to be a major effective marketing tool in electronic commerce domain. In the paper, we analyzed the problems of current utilization of RSS in domestic shopping malls, and suggest requirements for the effective use of RSS in electronic commerce. Furthermore, we proposed various issues and answers on the implementation of the requirements, and designed the intelligent RSS framework for electronic commerce based on the issues. Syntactic and semantic interoperability between the RSS service provider and the user is one of the most important issues in the framework. We suggested how to implement the interoperability based on Semantic Web technologies.

  • This paper proposes a design and realization for the semantic search system. The proposed model includes three Architecture Layers of a Semantic Search System ; (they are conceptually named as) the Knowledge Acquisition, the Knowledge Representation and the Knowledge Utilization. Each of these three Layers are designed to interactively work together, so as to maximize the users' information needs. The Knowledge Acquisition Layer includes index and storage of Semantic Metadata from various source of web contents(eg : text, image, multimedia and so on). The Knowledge Representation Layer includes the ontology schema and instance, through the process of semantic search by ontology based query expansion. Finally, the Knowledge Utilization Layer includes the users to search query intuitively, and get its results without the users'knowledge of semantic web language or ontology. So far as the design and the realization of the semantic search site is concerned, the proposedsemantic search system will offer useful implications to the researchers and practitioners so as to improve the research level to the commercial use.

  • Recently, the amount of image on the Internet has rapidly increased, due to the advancement of smart devices and various approaches to effective image retrieval have been researched under these situation. Existing image retrieval methods simply detect the objects in a image and carry out image retrieval based on the label of each object. Therefore, the semantic gap occurs between the image desired by a user and the image obtained from the retrieval result. To reduce the semantic gap in image retrievals, we connect the module for multiple objects classification based on deep learning with the module for human behavior classification. And we combine the connected modules with a behavior ontology. That is to say, we propose an image retrieval system considering the relationship between objects by using the combination of deep learning and behavior ontology. We analyzed the experiment results using walking and running data to take into account dynamic behaviors in images. The proposed method can be extended to the study of automatic annotation generation of images that can improve the accuracy of image retrieval results.

  • The researchers attempted to develop a way to extract a near real-time online nation image using social media. Referring to previous studies about nation images and the categories defined in Wikipedia, an ontology considering the characteristics of nation image was constructed. Separately, data sets from various social media were compared and the click view of Wikipedia English-edition was selected. The ontology was applied to the recent six years of the data extracted of the three big exporting countries of the east Asia, China, Japan, and Korea. To compare the nation images, correspondence analysis was employed to show images in the area of politics, society, culture, and economy. The nation images extracted are indeed the reasonable representation of them. The researchers verified them to a few known government policies and confirmed that it could be used to help government officers to make foreign policies to boost nation's export and to employ as a key performance index for them.
