This study proposes a developmental policy direction for the online platform industry, moving away from the regulatory-centered discussions that have predominated thus far. To offer policy directions, the PEST-SWOT-AHP analysis model was employed. The study first categorizes the issues of the domestic online platform industry into political, economic, social, and technological aspects, which are then further categorized into 16 strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The relative importance among these factors was measured, leading to the derivation of four final strategies. The analysis indicates that policy directions should prioritize addressing weaknesses, with 'improving regulations that hinder innovation' being the most important factor across all categories, while technological factors were consistently rated highly in importance apart from this. Accordingly, the policy direction for the domestic online platform industry suggests avoiding excessive regulation and instead emphasizing policy support centered around technological development. This study is significant in that it presents a macroscopic developmental direction for online platform policies that have not been discussed in existing academic research, and it provides professional and objective indicators through consensus among scholars and researchers. In the future, it is hoped that research will continue to propose detailed policy strategies and implementation systems based on a macroscopic perspective.

우리나라의 방송콘텐츠 시장은 2012년까지 연평균 성장률 3.5% 수준에 머무를 것으로 전망되고 있다. 원인으로는 콘텐츠 산업의 높은 파급효과에도 불구하고 영세한 제작환경 및 유통구조로 인해 양적/질적 측면에서의 낙후성을 벗어나지 못하는 것을 들 수 있다. 이는 경쟁 활성화를 가로막는 규제제도, 방송통신 플랫폼 사업자와 콘텐츠 제작자간 불공정 거래, 콘텐츠 제작자의 영세성 등에 기인한다. 이러한 우리 방송 환경을 고려할 때 신디케이트 도입은 성숙되지 않은 콘텐츠산업에 새로운 동력을 공급하는 계기가 될 것이다. 이러한 신디케이트 중 '온라인신디케이트'라는 것은 방송콘텐츠 유통전문기관을 설립함으로써 방송통신콘텐츠 판매창구를 개발하고, 제작사의 이익을 보장하며, 수요자에게 안정적으로 콘텐츠를 공급할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 국내외 시장 개척을 통해서 보다 확장된 창구화 효과를 거둘 수 있고, 현재의 변화된 방송환경에 맞추어 체계적이며 안정적인 공급과 판매를 통해서 우리나라 방송통신콘텐츠 산업 발전에 크게 이바지 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한 방송통신콘텐츠 제작의 활성화와 유통구조의 개선은 전 세계를 대상으로 글로벌콘텐츠를 판매할 수 있어야 함으로 국제적 유통망 구축이 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 온라인신디케이트는 국제적 유통망구축에 효과적이며 결국 유통과 제작, 제작과 유통이 상호간 높은 관련성을 의미한다. 향 후 프로그램의 제작은 해외의 수출시장 파악이 우선이다. 그 후 국내 프로그램의 유통 성공여부를 가름하고, 해당 국가의 유통시장을 면밀히 분석할 필요가 있으며, 필요하다면 현지 유통사 및 제작사와 협력관계를 유지할 필요가 있다. 최종적으로 성공가능성을 타진하여 현지 유통사를 인수하는 것이 위험 부담을 크기 때문에 이러한 과정을 통해서 글로벌 유통기업을 만들어야 하나, 설립은 막대한 자금이 필요하므로 이러한 '온라인 유통공사(신디케이트)의 설립'은 처음 시작해야 하는 위험 부담을 줄이는 지름길일 것이다.

In the age of media convergence the influx of foreign TV content is quickly influencing the landscape of Korean media. The objective of this research is to analyze and explore the localization and Koreanization of Master Chef USA into Master Chef Korea and how its successful adaptation, transformation, and localization was made possible. The study pays close attention to TV personalities' relationships, behaviors and communication skills along with the choice of food ingredients and themes in the 2014 episodes for both Master Chef USA and Master Chef Korea. Furthermore, the research seeks to challenge the widely spread belief that localization of foreign TV content serves the public interest. Rather it seeks to articulate that depending on the media environment, private entities are becoming the benefactors of foreign TV content adaptations.

The drone market in Korea is growing with a focus on the use of prevention, defense, exploration and surveying, search and rescue, video shooting, and facility management. However, the foreign dependence on drone's core technologies and components is high. Drone-powered countries such as the US and China are expanding the weaponization of drones, which can intensify trade wars between countries, such as strengthening import and export regulations and monopoly. Therefore, Korea should put R & D and localization of core technology, parts, and accessories of next generation drone first. For this, policy research and investment in infrastructure, equipment, and research personnel should be preceded. This study studied the evaluation of investment priorities by infrastructure sector (facility equipment, utilization field, and demand manpower) to foster small drone companies through literature studies. To this end, we expanded and reclassified e isting research, developed investment prioritization indicators through expert group interviews and reviews, derived future uncertainties, and selected investment priorities by infrastructure sector using AHP techniques. Finally, it proposed an infrastructure construction strategy to foster small drone companies in terms of drone development support, utilization support.

To cope with severe global warming and environmental pollution problem regulations on automobile emissions and fuel efficiency has been tightened around the world. Therefore zero emission vehicles which do not use fossil fuels such as electric vehicles have attracted attention by government and both industry and academia at developed countries. In the market, electric vehicles are being selected from more and more consumers because of technological advances and policy support. Recently another zero emission vehicle, hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, is drawing attention and is expected to become deployed widely. This paper reviews technology, current status and global trends of zero emission vehicle. The economical analysis of zero emission vehicles are also presented.

This study was conducted to diagnose the issues of AI ethics in global content and to discuss what kind of discourse is needed to strengthen human identity. To this end, the study selected Netflix original content "The Social Dilemma" for analysis and adopted narrative analysis as the research method. The analysis results confirmed that "Social Dilemma" showed the structure of a traditional current affairs documentary and mainly used experts and statistical data to develop the story. It also reinforced core content claims by enumerating domestic and foreign cases such as the 2021 Myanmar massacre and the spread of fake news. In addition, the relationship between the characters clearly revealed the binary opposition between developers and media companies as well as users and advertisers. For the solution to the problem, strong regulations on businesses and the suspension of social media use were reached. However, "The Social Dilemma" merely pointed out the misuse of AI technology and had a narrative that ignored human identity and social relationships. Such results raise the need for creating contents that emphasize the importance of human sociality, relationships, and learning ability in the age of AI.

Journalism and Mass Communication as an academic field is believed more politicized one than pure literature and natural science. With the growth of the media, there follows additional opportunities for media scholars to take a part in politics as well. Few attention was given to understand the status and mechanism of political intervention either as advisers or decision makers though. This study attempts thus to fill this vacuum. For this, first of all, it examines a various types of laws related to media politics. Total number of 164 scholars who participated in 12 councils and commissions were analyzed on the following step. Research shows that there are patterns which favor Seoul National University, U.S. trained Ph. D and geographic preference to the capital. Neither academic excellence nor commitment to public interest appear to have impact on taking those positions. Taking into account media's expansion into politics, it is inevitable for media scholars to take responsibility not only in policy making but in taking leadership. Accordingly, the question of necessity is not who but how as much as manner. The authors hope this study will be a valuable opportunity to establish a kind of ethical standards in media politics.

This study explored the relationships between media use and attributions of negative ffects of video games on attitudes toward Shut-down system. To prevent the youth from game addiction and secure a right to sleep for the youth, Shut-down system ahs been enacted since the fall of 2011. Interview survey revealed that females, the aged, those who use more news products, those who perceive more negative effects of games, and those who attribute the negative effects of game on government would have more positive attitudes toward the shut-down system.

This study examined how news has covered games since the decision to include gaming disorder in ICD-11. Data were 694 news article on games in five major newspapers. The results indicated the following: While the proportion of reports on game industry was high, those reports were mainly straight news announcing industry status and corporate management status. Reports on game policy focused on regulations, particularly game addiction or disorder. Reports on game uses and effects showed very low rates, but they have followed the existing practices of reporting games as the cause of extreme crimes and deviant behaviors.

Conducting Focus Group Interview (FGI), this study examined the roles and discourses of cryptocurrency's online communities and media (legacy media and YouTube), and based on this, the study proposed the direction of cryptocurrency policy. By reviewing previous literature, this study analyzed the characteristics of investors, the online community, and YouTube, which is an investment environment factor. The study figured out the purpose of use and role of the community via interviews with cryptocurrency professional investors and online community members and analyzed main discussion themes of the five top-ranked YouTube channels related to cryptocurrency with the highest number of subscribers. The results suggested that cryptocurrency's investment was led by those who are in their 20s and 30s, the investors preferred and trusted information on new media than legacy media. The online community played the role of emotional homogeneity and empathy, and YouTube mainly performed the informational role. As a result of discourse analysis and interviews, this study argued that the legal stability of cryptocurrency's policy and protection of individual investors are needed. This study's significance indicates that it used various research methods such as literature research, interviews, content analysis of community/YouTube to analyze the informational role and emotional aspects of new media and suggested policy direction of the digital new deal blockchain technology and the fairness of financial industry.
