The purpose of this study was to investigate the probiotic properties of lactic acid bacterial strains isolated from animal feces. BCNU 9041 and BCNU 9042 isolates were assigned to Lactobacillus brevis on the basis of their physiological properties and 16S ribosomal DNA sequences analysis. They were confirmed as safe bioresources because of their non-hemolytic activities and non-production of harmful ${\beta}$-glucosidase, ${\beta}$-glucuronidase, tryptophanase, or urease. These isolates were also highly resistant to acid (at pH 2.5) and bile acids (at concentration of 0.3%, 0.6%, and 1% oxgall). In addition, they exhibited good antibacterial activity against food-borne bacteria, especially Bacillus cereus, Listeria monocytogenes, and Shigella sonnei. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that they have the highest levels of hydrophobicity and that they showed bile salt hydrolytic and cholesterol assimilation activity. These results suggest that BCNU 9041 and 9042 have good potential for application in functional foods and health-related products.

생명공학의 혁신적 발명성을 매우 잘 보여주는 성공사례의 하나가 사람락토페린을 함유한 형질전환 젖소의 개발이다. 우유의 모유화를 내걸고 있는 본 연구는 국내·외에 막대한 잠재시장 규모가 예상되고 있다. 그러나 생명공학 제품은 ‘생물 재해(Bio Hazard)’에 대한 우려와 윤리문제를 제기할 수 있기 때문에 대중인식(Public Acceptance)에 대한 연구가 매우 중요한 의미를 가지는 것이다. 이러한 상황인식하에 사람락토페린을 함유한 유제품에 대한 소비자행태분석(Consumer Behavior Analysis)을 수행하게 되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 연구방법은 비시장가치평가법 중 임의가치평가법(CVM)을 사용하고 있다. 임의가치평가법은 선진국 특히 본 이론의 발상지인 미국에서 환경재기 가치를 측정하는 방법으로 사용되어 오고 있는데 이를 신상품 및 과학기술의 가치평가법으로 확대하여 연구하여온 필자의 일련의 연구중의 한 시도이다. 좋은 CVM 연구를 수행하기 위해서는 CVM이 요구하는 가치평가방법에 맞추어 설문서가 구성되고 분석되는 일이 무엇보다도 중요한 일이다. 본 연구에서는 CVM의 연구방법에 맞추어 사람락토페린 강화우유에 대한 소비자지불의향(Consumer Willingness to Pay) 조사와 더불어 사람락토페린 강화우유에다가 DHA, 칼슘 등 새로운 기능성 물질을 추가하여 더욱 좋은 기능을 첨가한 경우의 구입할 용의와 지불의향에 대한 조사를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 과학기술에 의해 탄생된 신상품에 대한 임의가치평가법의 적용이라는 새로운 시도의 연구라는점을 감안하여 본 연구를 바탕으로 더욱 새로운 문제제기와 추가적인 연구가 필요하다고 생각된다.적인 자세를 견지한다. 한편, 적응의 원리에 입각한 교육은 문화와 전통에 대한 피동적 전승을 넘어서 사회의 변화에 따라 교육체제와 내용을 바꾸는 등 적극적으로 변화에 대응하고, 이러한 변화를 주도할 인간육성에 힘을 기울이는 교육방식을 취한다. 시대적 변화의 소용돌이 속에서 교육은 이제 기왕의 많은 교육적 신화들을 타파하고 뉴 밀레니엄을 준비해야할 기로에 서 있다. 현재의 변화를 슬기롭게 대처하고 미래의 변화에 능동적으로 적응하는 인간을 육성하기 위한 오늘날 교육의 사명은 우선 미래사회를 위한 교육정책의 방향을 수립하는 일이다. 교육정책은 국가의 교육방침으로서 현실 교육문제의 해결도 중요하지만 미래의 발전을 기약할 수 있는 장기적인 비젼과 목표 속에서 정립될 필요가 있다. 이러한 의도하에 본 연구는 21세기를 대비한 교육정책의 방향을 탐색하고 그에 따른 정책적 과제를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적하에 본고는 \circled1 과거 우리 나라의 교육정책을 반성적으로 회고하고, \circled2 미래사회에 대한 전망과 교육적 시사점을 분석하며, \circled3 마지막으로 21세기의 변화에 적응하기 위한 교육정책의 방향과 과제를 내용으로 제시하고자 한다.탄산염으로의 전환이 진행되고 있다. 이러한 배경으로부터 Uchida그룹에서 개발한 FeiCr/AVTi재료와 현재 분리판 재료로 사용증인 SUS 310, S SUS 316재료에 대해. 산화성 분위기의 5기압까지의 가압하에서, Li-K, Li-Na탄산염에 대하여 부 식거동을 검토한 결과, 가압하에서 내식성이 향상되는 것이 발견되었다. 이유로서는 가압하에서 용융탄산엽의 증가된 산화력으로 보다 치밀한 내식성 산화물 피막

Cultural industry along with cultural content that forms the center of cultural industry is the field whose interest is continually increasing due to the increase of weight in the national economy and the strengthening of importance in future value. Cultural content, particularly, accounts for the essential position in starting a business around one-person business, which recently arouses high interest in a nation. However, it is true that the debates on the rapid growth and identity of cultural content in contrast to the reinforcement of its position, and the criticisms about the lack in development of material and cultural content in staring a business show the limitation of overall cultural content in Korea. This research examines recognition of cultural industry or cultural content through terminologies of definition as well as the relationships of configures in accordance with the outcome of cultural content. Findings demonstrate that cultural content in Korea revealed the highest cultural orientation which is the same as existing interpretations, and as comparison objects, entertainment industry in the U.S. and creative industry in the UK contained the highest part of entertainment and creativity respectively. It reflects that mythical elements of language that has been discussed from the structuralist perspectives are projected in the relevant field. In conclusion, the conceptual definition of cultural content has the structure to project advantages and disadvantages of existing culture, and this limitation needs to be overcome in securing the items and business value in starting a business.

In situ permeable reactive barrier (PRB) technologies have been proposed to reductively remove organic contaminants from the subsurface environment. The major reactive material, zero valent iron ($Fe^0$), is oxidized to ferrous iron or ferric iron in the barriers, resulting in the decreased reactivity. Iron-reducing bacteria can reduce ferric iron to ferrous iron and iron reduced by these bacteria can be applied to dechlorinate chlorinated organic contaminants. Iron reduction by iron reducing bacteria, Shewanella algae BrY, was observed both in aqueous and solid phase and the enhancement of TCE removal by reduced iron was examined in this study. S. algae BrY preferentially reduced Fe(III) in ferric citrate medium and secondly used Fe(III) on the surface of iron oxides as an electron acceptor. Reduced iron formed reactive materials such as green rust ferrihydrite, and biochemical precipitation. These reactive materials formed by the bacteria can enhance TCE removal rate and removal capacity of the reactive barrier in the field.

Bhutan's mask dance drama, Cham is performed in the festival of Tshechu. Originating from the 17th century, Tschechu is a religious ritual as well as a traditional festival held to commemorate the birth of Padmasambhava, who spread Buddhism in the kingdom of Bhutan. Bhutanese Cham and Tibetan Cham share similar traits in their content of , , and in their characters of Pawo and Pamo. Meanwhile, , , , , , , , are distinctive performances of Bhutanese cham. Moreover, the clown character Atsara in Bhutanese cham is a character that does not appear in the Tibetan Cham. Atsara, a humorous character, can be identified by its use of a long phallus ornament on the head or by a distorted face mask with a phallus in its hand. Bhutanese Cham, originally from Tibet, is a religious mask dance drama handed down in Lamaism temples. In later generations, new performances reflective of Bhutan's history, myth, legends, and religion were added in large amount. Thus, the Cham of Bhutan now has very independent and characteristic aspects.

This study aims to discuss the characteristics of garden architecture in Italian Renaissance Villa Lante that was constructed by the cardinal in Bagnaia at 16th century through actual survey and analysis of the garden's elements. To do this, it was studied in two ways: Analysis of the present conditions and review historical documents. The results are as follows. First, the buildings, the gardens and the surrounding landscapes are visually connected each other in relations between the topography and the surrounding landscapes. Second, the spatial composition accepted Neoplatonic law of multiple proportions and was influenced by ancient myth and "Liber ruralium commodorum" of Pietro de Crescenzi(1305). Third, the garden's elements consist of plants, buildings and items. In plants, the upper plants are fir tree, cypress and pine tree and the lower plants are english holly, box tree and sweet oleander. The buildings are casino, loggia and terrace. The items are pot, sundial, chair, viewing platform and fountain. The result of this study, the political and social, technical phenomena which constitute construction pattern affected the locational property and the spatial organization of the neighbor on Villa Lante.

Stroke is among the leading causes of death and long-term physical and cognitive disabilities worldwide, affecting an estimated 15 million people annually. The pathophysiological process of stroke is complicated by multiple and coordinated events. The breakdown of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in people with stroke can significantly contribute to the development of ischemic brain injury. Therefore, BBB disruption is recognized as a hallmark of stroke; thus, it is important to develop novel therapeutic strategies that can protect against BBB dysfunction in ischemic stroke. Traditional medicines are composed of natural products, which represent a promising source of new ingredients for the development of conventional medicines. Indeed, several studies have shown the effectiveness of Korean medicine on stroke, highlighting the value of Korean medicinal treatment for ischemic stroke. This review summarizes the current information and underlying mechanisms regarding the ameliorating effects of the formula, decoction, herbs, and active components of traditional Korean medicine on cerebral ischemia-induced BBB disruption. These traditional medicines were shown to have protective effects on the BBB in many cellular and animal ischemia models of stroke, and experiments in various animal species, such as mice and rats. In addition, they showed brain-protective effects by protecting the BBB through the regulation of tight junction proteins and matrix metalloproteinase-9, reducing edema, neuroinflammation, and neuronal cell death. We hope that this review will help promote further investigation into the neuroprotective effects of traditional Korean medicines and stimulate the performance of clinical trials on Korean herbal medicine-derived drugs in patients with stroke.

Recently, Japanese cultural contents are being evaluated as a worldwide content. Among them, the animation takes an overwhelming place in the world market as a Japanese representative content. We need to understand that Japanese animation is being recognized world wide, because Japanese culture was grafted in to and it's very important to apply that to our situation. Cultural content to dominate the world has a fundamentally characteristics derived from regional culture. Cultural content includes elements of particular culture prototype. To investigate into cultural content that has globally used and is valuable, in-depth and systematic research for local (country) culture prototype showed be carried out. Our research aim to provide basic data so Korean animation can be developed as axis of Korean Wave. This compares and analyzes the Culture prototype from Korea and Japanese modern civilized media animation. Specifically for the animation shown in the culture prototype, we aim to - Analyze the content of culture prototype shown in Korea's animation: 'Hopi and Chadol Bawi', 'Heung-Bu and Nol-Bu', 'A Admiral's Diary', and 'Oseam'. - Analyze the content of culture prototype shown in Japan's animation: 'Genji', 'The Spiriting away of Sen and Chihiro', 'The Princess Mononoke', and 'Raccoon War Pom Poko'. - Compare and analyze the content of culture prototype depending on classifying criteria shown between Korea and Japan. We finally want to provide the basic data to develop the creation material for the global animation content based on these two countries throughout this research.

The 'Woencheongang-Bonpuri' is one of the shamanistic myths in Cheju Island. That is a history of ancestor God of the 'Woencheongang'. This myth contains a shaman's initiation. And we can find important archetypal images in it. There are a child, old wise woman, book, water, tree, snake, Yakwangju which is a gem that emits light in the dark, dragon, hierogamy, goddess, time, etc. I've tried to interpret these images through the method of amplification from the perspective of analytical psychology. A heroine of this shamanistic myth is 'Ohnuri' that means 'today'. When she came out from the earth, she was a 'abandoned child' which is a 'hero-motif' in the fairytale and also a theme of individuation process in the analytical psychology. In the mean time, she grew up with helps of the nature, crane, and 'Yakwangju'. One day, she was found in the field by the people. They gave her a name of 'Ohnuri' and one day, an old wise woman told her how to go to her parents. On her way to the 'Woencheongang' where her parents regulate four seasons, she had met many characters which were in stuck. They told willingly Ohnuri a way to go to the 'Woencheongang'. Instead, they wanted to get solutions of their difficult problems. Finally, she met her parents in the 'Woencheongang' with joy and they taught her how to solve problems. Therefore, all characters in this myth could go on their own individuation process fortunately with help of the Whoencheongang's wisdom. In the meanwhile, Ohnuri got Lotus and Yakwangju and then she transformed to the goddess of the highest of the heavenly gods. Then she had helped people who get in trouble. In this way, the 'Woencheon-Bonpuri' was psychologically interpreted from aspect of analytical psychology.

The water god, Venerable Bhadra, Indian Tammola (Tamla as the 'mol' and 'ju' characters were eliminated) came to Tamla with 900 Arahants(The highest Buddhist monks) around 563-483 BC. It is the propagation of Buddhism through the world's most sacred water (Heiligkeit). The traces of the three surnames of Goyangbu are the first samsunghyeol and the dwelling of the den of Jonjaam(cave of venerable Bhadra) in Yeongsil, giving a glimpse into the era of living in caves. The second is a link that is in line with 3, the basic number in the decomposition of 900 (=3^*3^*100) disciples of Bhadra, considering that 3 and 3 of the three surnames in Goyangbu are three times 9. At this time, 3 is the person of heaven and earth, religiously, marriage, hope, or complete number, and Jeju culture is resting everywhere. For example, 3 of the samsunghyeol, 3 of the 1, 2, 3 Dodong, 3 of the 3 Dado, 3 of the 3 Mudo, 3 of the 3 disasters, 3 of the Goyangbu 3-surnames, 3 of the house Olle Jeongnang and, among 900 (=3^*3^*100) disciples of Venerable Bhadra, the common factor is 3. It is the 'island of 3'. These papers consist of 1 and 2 parts. In Part 1, the name of Tamla came from Tammola, India, and 900 Indian Buddhist Arahants estimated that the three surnames in Goyangbu were the ancestors. Part 2 highlights how the basic principle of jeonganag derived from Indian customs has evolved and is being used in modern mobile communication and DNA gene life science.
