A Simulation for Warehouse considering Traffic (트래픽을 고려한 창고 시스템 시뮬레이션)

  • We need to consider a number of technical constraints to build new warehouses. In particular, it is essential to assure that the flow of trucks is smooth and seamless even in large size warehouses. The flow of trucks in warehouses are subject to, for instance, the routes of trucks, the frequency and the time stamps of their in-and-out's. Also, the routes of trucks interfere each other. Thus, finding good flow of trucks in a warehouse is a tough task when all interferences among trucks are considered. In this paper, we find some layouts of the routes of trucks exhibiting good performance based on simulation. we use ARENA ver. 11 for simulation.

  • 복잡해지는 비즈니스로 인해 생산에 필요한 직접비용보다 유통${\cdot}$물류 등의 간접비용의 부담이 점차 증가추세를 보이고 있으며 그로 인해 기업의 부담이 커지고 있다. 최근 기존 마그네틱테이프나 바코드 등이 갖고 있는 구조적, 기능적 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 수단으로 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 기술이 각광받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유통 및 물류 분야에서 각광받고 있는 RFID 기술을 물류 창고의 최적관리에 적용하여 봄으로써 이의 활용가능성에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 물류창고 내 컨베이어벨트에서 자동으로 화물의 크기와 무게를 분석하고 이를 인공지능을 기반으로 분류하는 기술에 관한 연구를 다루고 있다. 우리의 연구를 통해 넓은 물류창고에서 전체 분류 과정을 모니터링할 수 있으며, 웹사이트를 활용하여 원거리에서도 물류 분류 과정을 실시간으로 확인 가능하게 한다. 또한 문제 발생 시 기록을 남겨 관리자 간에 관리, 감독이 원활하도록 도와준다.

  • 1999년 씨랜드 청소년 수련원 화재로 19명이 사망하여 샌드위치 패널의 위험성이 대두되었으며, 2008년도 이천 냉동창고 화재 그리고 최근 2009년 11월 19일에도 샌드위치 패널로 건축된 물류창고에서 화재가 발생하였다. 이러한 샌드위치 패널로 시공된 물류창고 등의 화재는 확대가 빠르므로 난연재 소재의 샌드위치 패널의 필요성에 대한 관심이 높아져 가고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 폴리스티렌 폼을 심재로 한 샌드위치 패널의 장점에 난연성을 부과하여 화재 안전성을 도출하는 하고자 한다. 샌드위치 패널의 심재로 주로 사용되어지는 EPS 비드에 저가의 물유리를 코팅하여 난연성을 도출하고자 한다. 2차 발포 성형시에 물유리가 고온의 스팀에 씻겨 내려가지 않고 남아서 난연성을 나타내도록 하는 것이 목표이다.

  • This study presented practical directions for logistics network unification services, storage and shipment automation in order to prepare advanced strategies for warehouse management systems(WMS) of e-trade using network technology. The WMS technology using UPnP network will be a new paradigm in logistics and distribution. To meet desires of our society and develop successful unified logistics services, what is proposed in this study should be properly performed and it is important to have proper attitude to deal with new changes. Therefore, this study aims to present a base for interpretation of WMS using UPnP network rather than its technological directions.

  • Wireless sensor network devotes to improving energy efficient and reducing energy costs.We have to monitor in building for 24hours not to incur expansive energy costs in case of problem about a thermostat of buildings or logistics warehouse.   • 크로스도킹이란 창고나 물류센터에 하역된 물품이 저장됨이 없이 도착지별로 재분류되어서 직출하되는 물류 시스템이다. 크로스도킹은 물류비용의 큰 비중을 차지하는 보관비용을 감소시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 고객의 요구에 빠른 대응을 할 수 있다는 장점을 지니고 있다. 크로스도킹이 성공적으로 수행되기 위해서는 창고나 물류센터의 입고에서부터 출고까지의 모든 작업들이 계획적이고 원활하게 수행되어져야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 임시보관 장소를 보유하지 않은 크로스도킹 시스템의 총 운영시간을 최소화하기 위한 입고 트럭과 출고 트럭의 일정계획 수립을 위한 수학적 모델을 개발하였다.

Simulation-based Design Validation and Alternatives Analysis of Release Process of Logistics Automation Warehouse (시뮬레이션을 활용한 물류 자동화 창고의 출고 프로세스 설계 검증 및 대안 분석)

  • As the business-to-customer (B2C) online market expands after the COVID-19 pandemic, the logistics industry has been constructing automated warehouses to handle multi-product, low-volume logistics. When constructing a logistics automation warehouse, it is crucial to validate that the facility's performance and operational logic are designed to meet the required throughput of the automated warehouse from the system design phase. This study proposes simulation-based validation and optimal alternatives for an H logistics automation warehouse in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do. Firstly, we focused on the box supply and packing processes, which are related to the release process, among the entire logistic processes. Then, we analyzed the potential bottlenecks in the target process and designed and implemented a discrete-event simulation model based on the analysis results. The simulation experiments showed that the facility parameters and operational logic identified in the system design phase did not satisfy the performance requirements of the entire automated warehouse. Additional experiments were conducted to suggest alternatives to meet the system performance requirements by changing the facility parameters and operational logic. We expect that the proposed study will be utilized in the future, not only in the system design phase but also in the system construction phase, for verification purposes to ensure that the construction proceeds according to the design.

A Study on the Reliability of Storage/Retrieval for Warehouse Layout Based on Shuttle Rack System (셔틀랙 기반 물류센터의 레이아웃별 반출입 신뢰성에 관한 연구)

  • With the rapid increase in the quantity of goods transported worldwide, companies are now started to show great interest in unmanned automated warehouses along with related research and development due to the increase of warehouse efficiency and reduction warehouse manpower. In a number of small warehouses, shuttle rack-based layouts that can handle inventory flow flexibly. However, the shuttle rack-based logistics center does not operate in case of emergency situations (faults, power outages, etc.), which seriously affects the efficiency and inventory management of the entire logistics center. Accordingly, in shuttle rack-based logistics center, we have classified various shuttle passages and RTV passages by layout and have analyzed its characteristics and types, along with derived reliability for each layout. The loading rate was also derived differently according to the number of passages, and have compared and analyzed reliability and loading rate for each layout.
