  • The uncertainty of start-ups are factors that weaken the entrepreneurial intentions of college students and prospective founders, and are also the cause of the low rate of entrepreneurship among art college students. This study tried to identify the effect of subjective norms entrepreneurial efficacy on start-up intentions. Studies have shown that entrepreneurial efficacy and subjective norms have a significant impact on start-up intentions. In addition, start-up education support has been shown to control the impact of subjective norms on start-up intentions, and start-up activity support has been shown to control the impact of subjective norms on start-up intentions, while start-up commercialization support does not control the impact of start-up efficacy or subjective norms on start-up intentions. In order to revitalize the start-up and effectively guide the start-up of art college students, it is necessary to show the social support of the people around them for the start-up and to enhance the efficacy of the start-up by supporting the prototyping activities.

  • This study begins with the question of how culture-based communities can form a community culture and become a community of sustainable development. Based on the concept of community, community development factors and stage of development, cultural activities, and policy implementation theory, policy execution analysis models suitable for culture-based community projects were derived. A qualitative case study method was adopted as a research method, and success stories of culture-based village communities were selected as the 'Gamgol Community' in Sadong, Ansan, 'Sangdong Community' in Daebu-dong, Ansan, and 'Grimae Village' in Sinse-dong, Andong. Through in-depth interviews, literature analysis, and direct observation, the research analysis used pattern matching, explanation, chronicle analysis, and case integration analysis methods presented by Yin (2009). As a result of the study, first, the characteristics of the policy implementation strategy were taking place in the process of step-by-step development. The main factors in the community development phase were the improvement of community consciousness through the emotional change of participants and the change of capacity within the community. Second, it was understood that cultural activities played a major role in strengthening community consciousness and community capacity, and could be understood as various creative activities. Based on the ecological approach study on culture-based community, this study derived the policy execution analysis model, analyzed the case of culture-based village community, presented the direction of development of community and presented practical implications.

  • This ethnographic study aimed to understand the emotional labor of traditional performing artists who hide and control their emotions in performances and the components and characteristics of their emotional labor by means of in-depth interviews with traditional performing artists and Giorgi's analysis method. As a result of the analysis, first, the factors that lead to emotional labor of traditional performing artists can be divided into external and internal ones. The external factors arose from expressing various emotions while creating or suppressing their own emotions in an effort to draw out the emotions of the audience. Also, emotional labor occurred depending on the performance place, performance type and audience reaction. The internal factors consisted of the emotional burden experienced due to concerns over mistakes and audience satisfaction as they voluntarily commit themselves to the performance in order to satisfy the audience. Second, complex emotions that remain after the performance sometimes lead to aftereffects of emotional labor. Third, factors of emotional labor that originate from belonging to an organization had an influence, which resulted in their considering job change or resignation. Fourth, emotional labor arises from the specificity of the traditional performing arts field, that is, negative perceptions and unfair internal practices of traditional performing arts. The study showed that traditional performing artists relieve their emotional labor through hobbies and chatting with colleagues, and took the emotional labor as granted, not recognizing that the occupational emotional labor as emotional labor. This study is significant in that it recognized and analyzed traditional performing artists as emotional workers and focused on the emotional labor components of traditional performing artists.

  • In the every genre of arts we can find the oriental Yin-Yang idea which has been descended from olden time in the Orient. It arouses our big interest especially in the domain of design and plastic arts as well as in the every field of human culture, and its study and application will enrich the qualities of design and plastic arts. I think it is with the Yin-Yang idea that we have to chase to our own cultural activities to make differance from the others. Without it, we cannot advance any more the traditional heritage into better and higher state of level than the West, and our philosophy and spiritual activities be stagnant in the same cultural categories as oter countris have in common. The countries which have no distinguishing feature of their own are very easy to place themselves in the border of world culture, not in center of it only to give an immitatin of others. I would like to put great emphasis on Yin-Yang idea in the field of design and plastic arts because it will give newness and novelty to all the p대ple who are not familiar with the oriental Yin-Yang idea.

Despite certain demands for the systematic research of corporate cultural marketing, studies have not been sufficiently developed to meet industrial and academic demands. Therefore we intended to study patterns of corporate cultural marketing using actual corporate data and explore inter-relationship across the patterns and characteristics. As a result, Korean firms were categorized into four patterns as below: 1)Duty type, 2)Strategic Partner type, 3)Publicity type and 4)Event type. • At a moment in which the entire culture and arts field is in crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the audience development strategies practiced by arts organizations require significant adaptation. In this paper we consider the theater for young audiences, Youngji, produced by the TYA(Theater for Young Audiences) Research Center(TYARC) of the National Theater Company of Korea (NTCK). We examine how an arts organization develops youth audiences and creates a participatory culture when normal non-face-to-face engagement is not possible. We applied an Action Research methodology to our research filed, which allowed us to track continuous change based on the evolving practices and contingencies of one arts sector organization. Using Brown and Novak-Leonard's (2011) audience involvement spectrum, Koste's (1995) concept of creative drama, and Moore's (1993) transactional distance theory, we explored the possibility of active audience development by analyzing the ways in which NTCK's arts education has adapted its approach to audience development. We find that, even in this non-face-to-face era, it is possible to effectively develop youth audiences through a dramatic play that continues from play to drama.
