The present study investigated how culture and art education participants' outcome evaluation predicts the satisfaction of the education by performing the secondary analysis of the Korea Arts and Culture Education Service's (KACES) survey data. Exploratory factor analysis identified three dimensions(content, management, and resources) of education outcome evaluation, and the regression analysis revealed the factors of outcome evaluation influenced the education satisfaction positively. When the sample was grouped according to prior participation experience and companion [participated alone or with other person(s)], the regression analysis showed the differences of the influences between groups. On the basis of the findings, managerial implications for improvement of the culture and art education programs and suggestions for further studies were discussed.

This study examined determinants of diversity in cultural consumption among people in their 20s. The main results are following; firstly, this study explored determinants of diversity in nine cultural consumption. The results showed that diversity of cultural consumption was determined by three factors such as current interests in cultural fields, content preferences based on broadcasting genres, and income. Although current interests in cultural fields and content preferences based on broadcasting genres were positively correlated to cultural consumption, income was negatively correlated. Next, this study examined diversity in cultural consumption in terms of two separate orientations such as highbrow and mass cultures. The results showed that diversity of highbrow culture was determined by current interests in cultural fields, content preferences based on broadcasting genres and income. Also, diversity of mass culture was determined by current interests in cultural fields, content preferences based on broadcasting genres and education period for classic music including opera and chorus.

The purpose of this study is suggest the guideline by analyzing and categorizing the case of trends of Beacon technological development and Beacon-Based service in culture and art space of domestic and overseas. I did some literature research followed with theoretical background of beacon service, also did case study of beacon service application in domestic and overseas culture space. The result indicate that beacon technology can provide a variety services in a wide space. Through domestic and overseas case studies, it was found that beacon service in domestic exhibition space should be given as experience-oriented services beyond benefit-oriented services. As this point of time, this study will become a good resource for various communication services through beacon service in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a culture and art education program on adolescents with disabilities. Craft education oriented toward activities convergence education. The investigator conducted an in-depth interview with seven adolescents with developmental disabilities in a special high school class for a month after the educational sessions were over. The findings were as follows: first, the adolescents with developmental disabilities experienced the joy, pleasure, and interest of study, which they used to have a difficult time experiencing in a common class. Second, they became relaxed with their participation in lessons, felt comfortable through educational activities, and had a positive attitude. Third, they had a feeling of being together and coexistence through collaborative activities. Finally, they were able to share each other's ideas, listen carefully to their friends, talk about works they created, and experience close relationships with classmates.

전시 중심의 단기적 활용을 벗어나 일종의 문화유산으로 시각예술 아카이브를 관리하려는 움직임이 국가단위 또는 주요 기관간 컨소시엄의 형태로 활발히 진행 중인 해외 문화선진국의 사례와는 달리 국내 시각예술계는 아카이브 기반 전시나 프로젝트의 인기를 넘어서지 못하는 단편적 접근방식으로 아직 국가차원의 종합적인 비전이나 장기적인 전략을 창출해내지 못하고 있는 것이 우리의 현실이다. 국내 디지털 인프라의 선진성에 의지한 공공기관 주도 디지털 아카이브 사업에 대한 낙관적 전망도 몇몇 기관의 디지털 아카이브 구축 및 운영 경험을 통해 그 불투명성 및 위험성이 노출된 바 있다. 새 정부 출범 이후 국가정책을 지배하고 있는 창조경제 화두를 관통하는 핵심 키워드 중의 하나로서 시각예술 콘텐츠 자산의 근간인 국내 시각예술 아카이브의 경쟁력은 전면적으로 검토될 필요가 있다.

The educational trait that the arts and cultural education and dance strive for at a time when the ethical tasks of life is the experience for insight of life. The awareness of time entrusted with the intensity [depth] of artistic and aesthetic experience is to contain its implication with policy and system. In the policy territory, broad perception and strategy are combined and practiced to produce new implication. Therefore, on the basis of characteristics and spectrum persuaded at a time when the arts and cultural education and dance education are broadly expanded, the result of this study after taking a look at the role of dance education within the arts and cultural education is shown as follows. The value striving for by the culture and arts education and dance education is to structure the life form with the artistic experience through the art as the ultimate life description. This is attributable to the fact that the artistic trait structured with self-understanding and self-expression contains the directivity of life that is recorded and depicted in the process of life. The dance education in the culture and arts education has the trait to view the world with the dance structure as the comprehensive study as in other textbook or art genre under the awareness of time and education system category within the school system and it has diverse social issues combined as related to the frame of social growth and advancement outside of school. When taking a look at the practical characteristics (method) of dance based on the arts and cultural education business, it facilitates the practice strategy through dance, in dance, about dance, between dance with the artist for art [dance]. At this time, the approachability of dance is deployed in a program based on diverse artistry for technology, expression, understanding, symbolism and others and it has the participation of enjoyment and preference. In the policy project of the culture and arts education, the dance education works as the function of education project as an alternative model on the education system and it also sometimes works as the function for social improvement and development to promote the community awareness and cultural transformation through the involvement and intervention of social issues.

문화는 정신적인 것에서부터 제도에 이르기까지 인간의 삶과 관련된 모든 것을 의미한다. 대중예술이라는 측면에서 대중문화는 디지털 정보매체의 발달과 관련하여 고전적인 것보다는 개성과 독창성을 중시하고, 사회 문화적인 의미 이상으로 그 중요성과 영향력을 가지고 있으며, 규격화되고 획일적이며, 동질적 성격을 띄는 특성을 지니고 있다. 대중문화의 기능은 순기능과 역기능으로 분류할 수 있는데, 전자는 문화가 대다수 대중의 삶의 표현이고 문화적 풍요를 경험할 수 있다는 관점이고, 후자는 대중을 한 집단의 구성원이나 개인으로 인식하기보다는 무차별적인 집합체로 인식하고, 상업주의, 획일성, 저속성 등의 부정적인 의미를 내포하고 있으며, 대중문화가 사회의 도덕과 윤리를 저해한다는 관점이다. Living culture emphasizes cultural activities in daily life based on local characteristics, and aims to integrate art with daily life to communicate with others through activities of local residents. In this process, the values that individuals and society should have, are evoked and restored. In order to understand the context and processes in which the values of the living culture are expressed as local culture, we analyzed the case of 'Gosaek Nongak(community band music, dance and rituals in Korea) conservation association' in Suwon area and tried to diagnose how art and daily life are integrated and restoring community life in the actual field. For this purpose, phenomenological research was conducted through literature review participatory observation, and in-depth interviews to categorize the social impacts of living culture activities and public support due to individual, community, and local influences. We found that public support for living culture led to increased artistic development and human interaction in the community, and that individuals who are thus empowered to seek artistic experience and actively interact with other people, emerge as vital subjects and practitioners of culture and arts in their local community. Furthermore, we found that the activities of living culture facilitated the formation of local identity for members and local residents. Through living culture activities, members and local residents became more aware of being members of the community and found value and meaning in participating in daily life and cultural activities.
