The purpose of this study is to analyze and verify the effect of multicultural adolescents parental support and parenting attitudes on school life and social competency by using the primary data of the second period of the MAPS(Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study). The subject of this study in 2019 was 2,246 multicultural adolescents who were in the fourth grade of elementary school at the time. As a result of the study, it was found that the more positive and positive parental support and parenting attitude were, the higher the degree of school life and social competence of multicultural adolescents. On the other hand, the degree of school life and social competence varies according to gender, and it was found that female students were higher than male students. There was a significant difference in the degree of school life according to the mother's educational background, but there was no significant difference in the degree of social competence. These results suggest that parental support and parenting attitudes are major environmental variables in the educational ecosystem that affect the school life and social competence of multicultural adolescents.

The purpose of this research was to identify the effects of factors determining life satisfaction (LS) of local residents in chungbuk province. After reviewing the literature, this research selected and developed the 9 categories and specific indicators of LS. This research had obtained data through a face to face investigation using questionnaire, which surveyed 1,619 residents at 11 local governments in chungbuk province. This research analyzed the data using descriptive statistical methods and multiple linear regression method. This research found that 1) the level of overall LS had 4.433 points out of 7, the level of residential environment satisfaction had highest point (4.911), but the level of leisure culture satisfaction had lowest point (4.155), 2) in multiple regression analysis, The effect of income and consumption level on LS was highest. The degree of labor and life-social services was important factor to increase LS. The results of this study were expected to provide many implications for implementing policies to improve LS in the country and local governments.

This study was a qualitative research to investigate the adaptation process and stress experiences of female marriage immigrants to Korean culture, and to explore life experiences and meanings to cope with them. Participants in the study collected data through individual in-depth interviews targeting 5 female marriage immigrants with more than 5 years of marriage using the Healthy Families·Multicultural Family Support Center located in ◯◯-gu, Incheon City. Using the six steps of Braun & Clarke's topic analysis method, 3 main topics and 13 subtopics were derived. Research Results First, cultural differences experienced by female marriage immigrants in Korean life (daily life culture, tradition, family relations) Second, the cultural adaptation process experienced by female marriage immigrants (difficulties and fears-understanding cultural differences-efforts to overcome) Third, it was found that the cultural adaptation of female marriage immigrants is that Korean lifestyle becomes natural and familiar by knowing the difference in lifestyle between their mother country and Korean culture, and finding and practicing the way they want to live with Korean people. Based on the research results, a practical intervention plan for successful cultural adaptation of female marriage immigrants was presented.

The purpose of this study was to understand the daily life of the residents in Jjok-bang. To achieve this purpose, I conducted an ethnographic approach. I contacted the residents in Jjok-bang, collected data from an in-depth interview, participative observation, documents, and analysed data by an ethnographic approach. In research findings, I presented four dimensions of the daily life: subject, place, time, way of life. Subjects were categorized as 'I', 'We', and 'They'. I investigated the residents' places that were categorized as three places such as Jjok-bang, a Jjok-bang region, and a Jjok-bang service center. I identified the residents' experiences in time of the past, the present, and the future. In addition, I gained a deep understanding of their way of life which was divided to survival, living, and life. Based on the results, I offer suggestions for policy, administration, practice, and further researches.

There are several changes of living conditions in Korea during the past 40 years. The changes in living conditions are the change of family type, the increase in income, the aging society, the introduction of five-working day, the protection of environment, etc. These changes bring about a social phenomenon so-called the well-being which seek after the pleasure of healthy life. This study is based on the limited literature reviews, focusing on the correct understanding these changes and the well-being life style in Korea in order to provide the enterprise with some insights.

최근 급증하고 있는 다문화사회에서 다문화 가정의 가족 구성원의 안정적인 상태로의 정착과 특히 그 자녀들이 '건강하고 행복한 한국인'으로 동반 성장할 수 있는 방안 마련이 현재 주요 과제 중 하나라고 할 수 있다. 무엇보다도 한국의 저출산율은 사회를 구성하는 문제와 인구 노동력 감소로 이어져 국력까지 약화시킨다. 이를 해소할 방안 중 하나로 외국인들을 부족한 한국사회의 인구로 보충하는 것이다. 다문화 가정을 통한 자녀 출산과 그 자녀들로 하여금 성인인구를 늘리는가 하면 다문화가정의 자녀들이 사회의 구성원으로서 올바른 성장과 건강하고 행복한 한국인이 될 수 있도록 돕는 일이 우리 한국의 심각한 사회적 상황을 안정적으로 잘 지탱할 수 있는 길이다. 무엇보다도 감정의 기복이 심한 청소년기를 겪고 있는 다문화 가정의 청소년들의 학교생활적응과 관련된 연구의 필요성은 매우 중요한 역역이라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 학교생활적응에 중요한 작용을 하고 도움을 줄 수 있는 연구들의 필요성에 관한 방안들을 모색하고 향후 연구에 적용함으로써 학교생활에 대한 적응력을 높일 수 있는 기초적인 자료가 제공될 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다.

The aim of this study was to examine the association between daily stress and smartphone overdependence among multicultural adolescents, focusing on the moderating roles of gender and age. This study performed a series of multiple linear regressions with a sample of 794 multicultural adolescents living with a foreign-born parent or parents from the 13th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey. The main regression analysis showed that daily stress was associated with higher levels of smartphone overdependence among multicultural adolescents. In addition, interaction analyses showed that the association between daily stress and smartphone overdependence was more pronounced for male adolescents compared to female adolescents, and for middle school students compared to high school students. This study concluded with some suggestions to address smartphone overdependence among multicultural adolescents.
