This paper analyzes the danmu phenomenon with the concept of participatory culture proposed by Henry Jenkins. Unlike other comments, Danmu is a function that allows users to post anonymously while watching a video, and comments posted at that time are immediately displayed on the screen and can be viewed by other viewers. The service was first launched by Niconico. In this paper, the danmu phenomenon in the Chinese video platform Bilibili is analyzed by focusing on three aspects. First, in terms of creative sharing under collective intelligence, we explore how users create their own creations and share them with other users through danmu. Second, in the collaboration model under public participation, the method and meaning of collective cooperation through users' interaction is dealt with. Third, in terms of financial support of commercial capital, the influence of danmu videos to create commercial profits is analyzed as a case. In addition, the negative aspects and challenges of participatory culture in Bilibili are analyzed. Negative aspects such as participation gap, copyright infringement, excessive use of danmu and problems of anonymity were reviewed, and major challenges to realize the potential of danmu as a participatory culture were suggested. This paper comprehensively analyzes danmu using research methods such as literature review and case studies, and through this, tries to derive insights on how participatory culture and danmu interact and evolve in modern society. Danmu, as a participatory medium, is an important tool that promotes individual and collective creation and interaction, and is pioneering a new boundary between the media industry and its users.

Based on the Everyday Information Seeking Behavior Theory, this study investigates information activities and library experience of 66 elderly or people with disabilities in Autonomous District A. In addition, this study analyzes contextual circumstances of daily information activities through in-depth interviews with a subset of 11 people. Although community welfare centers provide basic welfare, the elderly and people with disabilities seek to learn and socialize in cultural welfare centers, particularly in libraries. This study shows that libraries can fulfill their top three of Maslow's hierarchy of needs: Self-Actualization, Esteem, and Love and Belonging. Specifically, digital literacy education has been identified to be highly demanded. They seek to distinguish correct online information and to socialize using digital technologies in this contactless society. This study proposes a detailed plan for public libraries to offer cultural and information welfare in order to reduce the information gap within the local communities.

Recently, small libraries have greatly increased by the support and interest of the central, or local government. Since 2004, 47 small libraries were established in Jeon-buk province. These libraries are equipping a new facility and collection with their support. Nevertheless, they still have many problems in operating process. This is causing degradation of the quality level of information service for local residents, further, this becomes the obstacle which solves a information divide and improves the cultural welfare. The purpose of this study is to analyze the status of small libraries in Jeon-buk province, and then, to propose solutions to problems.

This paper examines the effects of COVID-19 on the working hours and wages by employment types of wage workers. Using the Economically Active Population Survey-Supplementary Survey by Employment Types(2017-2020), I found that due to COVID-19, non-regular workers reduced their working hours more than regular workers, shrinking their opportunities to generate wage income. During the same period, the working hours and wage gap between new regular and non-regular workers widened, this was largely in part-time and short-term workers. As the working conditions change based on the initial level, these results show that efforts to improve their(new and short term workers) working conditions can contribute to mitigating labor market inequality.

20세기 디스플레이의 중심에 서 있던 브라운관이 1990년대 이후 PDP나 LCD 등 박형 평판디스플레이로 대체되면서 현재까지 스크린 사이즈의 중대형화, 고해상도화, 저소비전력화, 저가격화 등 다양한 노력들이 지속적으로 이루어져 왔다. 특히 TV와 디스플레이 산업에 있어 우리나라는 2004년 이후 세계 점유율 1위의 위치를 꾸준히 유지해 오고 있으나 2020년에 들어서면서 중국과의 격차가 1%대로 좁혀지고 있는 등 TV 시장에 대한 후발주자의 공세가 점차 거세지고 있다. 이에 따라 LCD에서 OLED나 마이크로 LED 등 차세대 디스플레이로의 사업구조 전환을 서두르고 있으며 후발주자의 추격 또한 만만치 않은 상황에 있다. 이러한 가운데 코로나 19를 계기로 비대면 문화가 확산되면서 IT 제품 수요가 지속적인 강세를 보이고 있으며 TV와 디스플레이도 대형 및 프리미엄 TV를 중심으로 그 수요가 빠르게 확대 개선되고 있는 추세로서 100인치대 내외의 대화면, 8K UHD와 같은 초고해상도, 5-10mm 수준의 초슬림에 대한 요구가 절정을 이루고 있다. 이를 위해 TV와 디스플레이를 구성하는 핵심 요소인 전원장치 또한 고전력밀도와 초솔림화를 위한 많은 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있으며 특히 최근 EU의 에코디자인 규정에 따라 디스플레이의 소비전력과 효율 또한 매우 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 한편, 최근까지 주류를 이루고 있는 LCD TV와 디스플레이용 전원장치의 경우 역률 개선을 위한 PFC(Power Factor Correction) 단과 LED 백라이트 및 영상보드의 전원공급을 위한 절연형 DC/DC 단으로 구성되며, OLED와 같은 저전압 대전류 디스플레이 소자의 경우 전반적인 전원장치의 구성은 유사하나 비절연형 DC/DC컨버터가 추가적으로 요구되기도 한다. 본고에서는 상기한 바와 같은 최근 추세에 따라 TV 및 디스플레이용 전원장치의 각 구성요소별로 고효율, 고밀도, 초슬림을 위한 전원회로 기술에 대해 간략히 소개한다.

The purpose of this study is to present foundational data to promote the cultural welfare status of youth. The actual condition of the youth's cultural welfare was investigated by investigating the degree of youth's cultural welfare satisfaction and needs by regional groups. A total of 1486 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis. The analysis revealed the following results. 1. Actual conditions of adolescents cultural welfare. 1) Among various cultural activities, adolescents find leisure and social activity, artistic, mass media and video-media activities very boring and one-sided, Instead, they have greater interest in computer- and Internet-related activities, such as getting and sharing information and communication. 2) While adolescents living in urban areas benefit from well developed social infra-structure, those living in rural areas seldom take advantage of it. 3) The obstacles against cultural welfare of the youth can be categorized as: 'lack of money,' 'lack of time,' and 'lack of cultural facilities. ' In urban areas 'lack of time' becomes an issue, whereas in rural areas 'lack of money' and 'lack of cultual facilities' are important. 2. Degree of cultural welfare satisfaction of the youths. Youths generally appear either 'unsatisfied' or 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about leisure and social activity parts, and art and play-activity paris. On the other hand, they appear 'neutral' concerning their satisfaction degree about computer- and Internet-related information and communication parts, and mass- and video-media activity parts. In addition, urban youths show a higher degree of satisfaction than rural youths. 3. What the youths need To improve their culture welfare status, they need a lot of supplements for cultural activity in the form of cultural infra-structure. Regarding the cultural infra-structure, rural youths need more than urban youths.

This study dealt with the effect of the university in area development to Cheonan city. This study ran parallel literature investigation and actual proof investigation. Questionnaires 394 enforce frequency analysis in SPSS 15.0 versions. University positive effect on local community is smooth supply of human capital in local community, increase of regional income, improvement of area image by expanded education opportunities, supply of various university facilities in local communities etc. Contradictory effect is expansion of gap for areas that young persons in local community taken to education of good quality leave other local community, occurrence of conflict by collision of new culture and culture of area characteristic. Role of university for area development is role of help consultation, symbolic role, educational role etc. But the weighed role is leading role which university leads area development. Finally, the prompting methods of university for local community development .must accomplish interchange of operational mode with high quality human resources activating removal of manpower between arithmetic.

Mukbang, which appeared through the new media platform in the early 2000s, reflected the life of the young generation who had to eat alone in the face of deteriorating socio-economic conditions. Many young people were able to watch Mukbang together, and gain comfort by establishing a virtual community of everyday life with those who suffered similar difficulties. Since then, Mukbang has evolved into various forms, reflecting the society and also accommodating the needs of viewers, and now it has become a global phenomenon, not just in Korea. Early research focuses on the phenomenon as a bizarre side that appears in the early stages rather than the growth and change of Mukbang, and deals with it in a limited way. This article critically examines these limitations, and examines how the growth and development of Mukbang interacted with the social change process, and how the uniqueness of Mukbang could emerge in the characteristics of the new media. Through this, we will be able to look at the context of the growth of Mukbang as a global phenomenon and the impact on the legacy media.
