This paper proposes the revised ASCII code. The study started with consideration whether the ASCII code is proper or not in the side of the transmission efficiency in data communications. In data communications, when the consecutive "0" bits from the information devices input into the line coder, its consecutive "0" bits are scrambled to the predetermined patterns not to the consecutive "0" signal. The paper used to study with the statistical data for the frequency of the letters of the alphabets and the proposed rule of characters coding in reference. As a result of the study, when the proposed ASCII code is applied, the operation efficiency of the scrambler in the line coder is improved upto average 30%.

Music braille is made up of more systematic and various symbols compared with text braille. Therefore, the translation of braille music requires extensive knowledge of the music and the braille symbols. Because currently the computer program for the text braille has already developed, we don't need any help from the braille translator. However, the translation of music braille is hard without the help of a professional music braille translator, because the translation computer program is not perfect. The current situation is that the music braille translator reads the music score and translates it into the braille himself. In this paper, we designed and implemented the "Braille Music Converter", you can implement a person does not understand the braille translation into music braille well. It includes translation into text braille for the lyrics processing and rest, octave, key signature, time signature, tie, slur, repeat mark was confirmed that the successful conversion to the actual music score.

In this paper, we analyze nine-grade students' conceptions of parameters, their relation to unknowns and variables and the process of understanding of letters in problem solving of equations and functions. The roles of letters become different according to the letters-used contexts and the meaning of letters Is changed in the process of being used. But, students do not understand the meaning of letters correctly, especially that of parameter. As a result, students operate letters in algebraic expressions according to the syntax without understanding the distinction between the roles. Therefore, the parameter of learning should focus on the dynamic change of roles and the flexible thinking of using letters. We develop a self-regulation model based on the monitoring working question in teaching-learning situations. We expect that this model helps students understand concepts of letters that enable to construct meaning in a concrete context.

The public performance of drama has essence to convert text to visual images as stage and to represent, inform such visual images. Visual image is formed through a space as stage. Stage is a dish to fill the texts and is the mother's womb of visual image. Namely, visual image of drama equals space image. The purpose of this study is a trial to grasp the structure and system represented through interpreting. Especially, the concerns of this study are not semiology of letter imported in image but spacial image text importing just contents of text and the process and contents grasping the structure and meaning of dramatic space. Finally, this study proposed 'the system of space embodiment'from the semiotic point of view as interpretation methodology of actual memorial, symbolic space.

The purpose of this study is to discover the features of symbol sense. This study tries to sum up the meaning and elements of symbol sense and the measures to improve them through documents. Also based on this, it analyzes the learning conditions about symbol sense for 6th grade mathematically able students and suggests the method that activates symbol sense in the math of elementary schools. Considering various studies on symbol sense, symbol sense means the exact knowledge and essential understanding in a comprehensive way. Symbol sense is an intuition about symbols that grasps the meaning of symbols, understands the situation of question, and realizes the usefulness of symbols in resolving a process. Considering all other scholars' opinions, this study sums up 5 elements of the symbol sense. (The recognition of needs to introduce symbol, ability to read the meaning of symbols, choice of suitable symbols according to the context, pattern guess through visualization, recognize the role of symbols in other context) This study draws the following conclusions after applying the symbol questionnaires targeting 6th grade mathematically able students : First, although they are math talents, there are some differences in terms of the symbol sense level. Second, 5 elements of the symbol sense are not completely separated. They are rather closely related in terms of mainly the symbol understanding, thereby several elements are combined.

본 논문에서는 물체들의 이동(translation) 축적(scale) 그리고 회전방향(orientation)에 무관하게 물체를 인식하는 실용적인 패턴 인식 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 2진영상으로 변환하는데 필요한 임계치(threshold)의 큰 변화에도 덜 민감하다. 특징 벡터(feature vector)로 서는 Zernike 모멘트를 사용하였는데 지금까지 잘 알려진 Hu가 제안한 7개의 모멘트 불변수 (moment invariants)와 비교한다. 또한, 실용적인 기계 시각(machine vision) 시스템에 대해 세 가지 중요한 문제로서 패턴 정규화(pattern nomalization), Zernike 모멘트의 신속한 계산, 그리고 k-NN 규칙을 이용한 분류 등을 논의하였다. 실험에서는 임의의 회전 방향에서 문자들의 크기가 10x10 화소(pixel)에서 512x512 화소까지 변하는 서로 다른 크기를 가진 인쇄된 62개의 문자와 숫자 그리고 기호들을 서로 다른 임계치에서 인식하는 것을 보여준다.

언어나 문자를 대신하여 소통하고 감정을 전달하는 다양한 장르의 콘텐츠 중에 기호나 그림 등을 이용해 아이콘, 이모티콘, 스티커, 캐릭터 등으로 표현하는 디지털 형상들을 비주얼 감성콘텐츠라 할 수 있다. 초기 감성콘텐츠는 소통의 보조수단으로 간단한 이미지였으나, 현재에는 움직이고 소리 나는 영상에 이르기까지 수천 종류가 유통되고 있으며, 메신저 사업의 킬러 서비스로 부상하고 있다. 향후 감성콘텐츠는 언어나 문자로 표현하기 곤란한 사용자의 생각과 느낌을 주고받는 소통의 대체수단으로 정착될 전망이다. 또한, 변형과 편집이 가능한 감성콘텐츠가 개발되어 사용자는 간단한 조작만으로 다양한 감성을 표현할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 이 논문은 대체소통으로서 비주얼 감성콘텐츠의 개념을 정립하고, 주요 감성콘텐츠의 추진내용과 사업동향 분석, 비즈니스 전략과 기술혁신 발전방향을 제시하고 있다.

This paper propose the rule of coding for the characters and symbol, etc which are used in computer, information devices, etc. When they use the rule of coding, they may improve the efficiency of transmission in data communications by reducing the number of scrambling during the line coding in the coder in the transmitter. The paper considered the codes of one byte of 3bits column ${\times}$ 4bits rows. ASCII code is one of the representative code for the codes of one byte of 3bits column ${\times}$ 4bits rows. Therefore, this paper applied ASCII code to study the coding rule of the characters and symbols, etc.

In the history of ancient art, the form harmonizing Text and Image is founded in many genres of art. especially Buddhist art Image, which is used as important tool as the text to spread Buddhist ideas. This original literary form have switched the visual communication systems, patterns of speculation is another reason to have a symbolic system. The switch between Text and Image is very important on interpreting the aesthetic concept of the modern interpretation of visual media. Therefore, This research has investigated and compared the Wall paintings in Dunhuang to Animation 's Image Narrative. The original story of is based on the Buddhist Jataka tale of the same name, which were discovered as wall paintings made by unknown artists at the Dunhuang Mogao Caves.

We found a few students had an error in the function and equation units, because most of mathematicians omitted the multiplication signs. In the mathematical history, the multiplication and parentheses signs had various changes. Based on the Histogenetic Principle, high level students know that the letter in the functions and equations represents a number and the related principles, so they have no big problems. But since the low level students stay in the early days in the mathematical history, they have some problems in the modern function and equation. Therefore, while we study the function and equation units with the low level students, we present that we have to be cautious when we omit the multiplication and parentheses signs.
