A 4-year-old spayed female Miniature Pinscher was presented with a 3.5-year history of elevated liver enzymes level. Continuous elevation of liver enzymes was found on repeated blood examinations and the dog was referred for further evaluation. The abdominal ultrasonography revealed that the gallbladder could not be visualized in any plane. The absence of gallbladder was suspected on ultrasonography. Computed tomography (CT) confirmed gallbladder agenesis (GBA). This is the first reported case of diagnosis of GBA in Miniature Pinscher by using CT.

Consumption is the most important cultural keyword in the modern society. This study tried an exploratory comparison of consumer culture of Korea, USA and Sweden in response to the needs on cultural comparison research perspective. Triandis's cultural dimensions were adopted to explore each country's cultural characteristics. A qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted to consumers who lived both in Korea and USA, or in Korea and Sweden, which enabled them to get familiar with each country's consumer culture. The research found that the culture is projected to the consumer culture in a micro domain. The individualism allowed consumers in USA and Sweden to be unconscious of other's eyes. But collectivism in Korea made Korean consumers locked in other's judgement. In contrast, in a macro domain of consumer culture such as donation and pro-environmental consumption, consumption practices were in a dissonance with their cultural orientation, where includes interaction with society and environment. In addition, in a post-materialistic society, symbolism of consumption goods gets weakened and experiential consumption evolves with a transition from mass consumption society to plural culture society. Lastly, consumer culture functions as a creative mechanism of new culture by consumer's reflexive planning, which is one of the clues of an autonomous consumer culture. This study tried to explore the consumer culture of Korea, USA and Sweden as an exploratory trial for the comparison of consumer cultures. To increase empirical consumer culture study, refined questionnaire item pool is to be extracted through various exploratory researches, which can be utilized commonly in various cultures. Moreover, an additional research is in need about a consumer culture in a macro domain and experiential consumer culture in a post-materialism society.

Intangible cultural heritage is formless. It's of importance to preserve heritage in line with society drastically being transformed. It's passed down by human being. It is, on the other hand, impossible to preserve intangible cultural heritage solely based on memory, for it's changed in succession. Thus, it be archived to pass down. This study investigated on the state of affair related with Intangible cultural heritage documentations, examined the shortages thereupon. Furthermore, Training center should be in charge of documentation for a solution. This will provide an opportunity to overcome the limitations attributed to the top-down documentation system by central administrative organ, to open up the possibility of viewpoint of different successors, organizations. In addition to that, Intangible cultural heritage documents should be of different aspects of community history. Features of Intangible cultural heritages, which are convergent to the Regionality, tendency of variation, transmission, can be magnified when documentating. Finally, Training center is going to play a major role being vitalised. The record management of intangible cultural heritage, institutions and policies about Intangible cultural heritage have been highly complicated since National Intangible Heritage Center opened and the law on Intangible cultural heritage enacted with its recognition attracted. Therewith this study wishes to see a cornerstone of records on intangible cultural heritage by laying stress on training center in which educations and pass-down of intangible cultural heritage are lively achieved.

The Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Korea has begun since1962 when the Cultural Properties Protection Act was established. Korean ICH Safeguarding system is initially derived from Cultural Properties Protection Act in Japan. Japan has started Important ICH Designation System in 1954 to concede the skills and artistic talents holders, thus it could implement the multilateral system management for adopting different ICH protection systems such as Important Intangible Folklore Properties, Selection and Preservation Techniques, and Documenting Records. However, Korea has solely adopted Important ICH Designation System since Cultural Properties Protection Act was introduced. Korean ICH Safeguarding System represented by the Certification System of ICH Skill Holders is to ensure skills and artistic holders who perform the elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage, and manage the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage in order to let the skills and artistic holders instruct inheritors. As a result, it could build up the internal foundation for the diffusion of inheritors and established the related organizations. However, the inheritor-centered protection system has caused many problems as it is being lasted for more than fifty years. Fragmented designation measures, the cultural power of skill holders, and the research and evaluation methods have pointed out the difficulties of safeguarding and preservation measures of ICH. Moreover,the legitimacy of safeguarding system related in the authenticity of transmission in ICH has emerged to review the safeguarding system of ICH with diverse viewpoints. Therefore, this paper will review the implementation process and achievement of ICH safeguarding system to examine the problem and causes of the safeguarding system. The conference records of Cultural Property Association and articles of cultural properties policies directors, Cultural Property Association members, and professional experts are being used for the initial materials of this paper, and it is examined for the contents of designation system of Important Cultural Heritage, rather than overall cases. Thus such problems the limitation of expansion in ICH lists as inheritor-centered designation system, hierarchical and exclusive transmission system, inappropriate concept of archetype as the principle of ICH transmission are derived from the root of Important ICH designation system. Thus this paper demonstrates that this system must be revised for the expansion of ICH safeguarding system in Korea and points out multilateral protection system should be established as well as Certification System of Important ICH skill holders.

Korea has been designated as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage with outstanding value among intangible cultural heritage. We have supported various exhibitions and performance activities, and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Public Events. However, in recent years, more diverse policies have been pursued in order to revitalize transmission activities and the State is leading the Completion examination system. In order to improve the utilization of crafts, we introduced a Craft Bank System. In addition, to increase the marketability of crafts, we have implemented the certification system for crafts. For the diversity of transmission activities, we are promoting the Transmission Education School System. In order to fuse traditional activities, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition is being held and the World Heritage Forum is being pursued. In this study, we analyze various policies of the new intangible cultural heritage and investigate the problems and seek ways to improve them.

2011년 RPS(신재생에너지 공급의무화제도)의 본격적인 시행을 앞두고 국내 신재생에너지 산업의 많은 변화가 예상된다. 사업을 추진함에 있어 재무적 타당성을 분석하여 사업을 결정하는 것은 가장 기본적인 절차이다. 이러한 과정에서 비용과 편익에 대한 분석이 이루어지며 이에 대한 신뢰도의 정도에 따라 사업의 성공여부가 좌우된다고 할 수 있다. 통상 재무적 타당성분석은 유형적인 요소를 분석하여 사업성을 결정하지만, 무형적인 비용과 편익도 간과할 수는 없다. 유형적인 요소는 명확한 재무적인 수치로 나타나지만 무형적인 요소를 재무적인 수치로 평가하는 것은 쉬운 일 아니다. 무형적인 비용과 편익에 대한 정형화된 산정모델이 없고, 주관적인 의견에 의존하는 경향이 크므로, 해당 업체의 환경과 특성에 따라 평가방법 및 평가액이 상이하며 평가에 대한 신뢰도 또한 전문가에 따라 차이가 발생한다. 하지만, 이러한 무형적인 요소에 대한 평가는 사업추진 여부에 대해 중요한 변수로 작용할 수 있다. 실례로, 2002 월드컵 유치에 대한 무형효과에 대한 평가액은 가지각색이지만, 월드컵 유치로 인한 국가의 인지도 상승 및 경제적 효과는 누구도 부인하지 못할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 무형효과 산출에 대한 대표적인 사업의 사례 조사를 통해 무형효과 평가모델에 대한 기본 방식을 연구함으로써, 신재생에너지 개발사업에 적용할 수 있는 무형효과 산출 모델의 기본안을 제시하고자 한다.

The intangible cultural heritage possesses the extremely important meaning and value irrespective of its form. The value of the intangible cultural heritage becomes the important driving force in the social development as useful resources of reflecting social aspects and historical records that the life and tradition of past is delivered. Hence, this study aims to propose the method to manage and provide of the intangible cultural heritage syntagmatically from the digital aspect. For this the plan, the study compared and analyzed the current status of digital archiving of intangible cultural heritage. Consequently, based on the analysis, policy based on cultural governance and standardized management factors were developed. The method to materialize digital contents was developed for constructing digital archives and utilization of intangible cultural heritage can be facilitated.

세계는 갈수록 좁아지고 문화는 서로 닮아가고 있다. 더불어 각국의 음식은 고유성을 잃어가고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 2010년 11월 케냐 나이로비에서 열린 회의에서 유네스코는 프랑스 미식법(repas gastronomique des francais)을 유네스코 무형유산으로 선정했다. 한 나라의 음식문화가 무형유산으로 등재된 것은 2003년 무형유산 협약이 채택된 이후 처음이며, 이는 음식문화의 문화자원화를 위한 좋은 사례가 될 것이다.

Intangible cultural heritage is a collection of community wisdom and talents and it has artistic and cultural values of the nation. And because it represents an identity of the country, it is an important records information resources that we must be inherited from generation to generation. Korea's intangible cultural heritage system has developed with the aim of preserving and transmission, but now it is necessary to take an creative approach as a resource as a resource for cultural diversity and utilization in an intangible cultural source. Therefore, it is important to maintain systematic management of intangible cultural heritage records information resources in order to continuously preserve, but it is also important to establish a basis for continuous use. The purpose of this study is to propose improvement plans for the archival information services of domestic intangible cultural heritage. We analyzed the status of the archival reference services of intangible cultural heritage institutions in consideration of the characteristics of intangible cultural assets. In-depth interviews were conducted with the responsible person to collect opinions and requirements during the service. We suggested the improvement plans through drawing out implication on problems and direction of archival information services for intangible cultural heritage.

There are several diseases characterized by neurologic abnormalities and renal disease. Joubert syndrome is one of them. Joubert syndrome Is a relatively rare autosomal recessive syndrome. The most significant and constant neurologic finding is hypoplasia of the cerebellar vermis. Joubert syndrome is associated with hypotonia, retinal dystrophy, abnormal eye movement, delayed development, abnormal respiratory pattern (neonatal episodic tachypnea or apnea) and nephronophthisis. We report a boy with Joubert syndrome associated with nephrocalcinosis and agenesis of the cerebellar vermis. This patient had also abnormal eye movement, hypotonia, abnormal respiratory pattern, delayed development and chronic renal failure.
