  • In the global management environment, having trade talents can determine export competitiveness. Therefore, most of countries are carrying out various educational programs to be able cultivate or educate outstanding trade talents. South Korea is no exception. It is carrying out various educational programs such as GTEP, Glocal Trade Experts Incubating Program. Based on GTEP, this study would like to investigate empirical relationships between education service quality and international intention. As a result, all of education service quality such as educators' quality, educational infra quality, and education quality are significantly related to educational satisfaction and international intention. These results imply that improving educational service quality is better than carrying out education programs simply for cultivating outstanding trade talents.

  • Quantitatively, there are no problem regarding new doctoral degree holders in the field of international trade, but the quality of the degrees does not meet the level of academic potential expected by recruiters. The purpose of this study is to identify current problems of doctoral education to cultivate future generations of scholars in international trade, and to suggest some alternatives to improve doctoral programs through surveys and focused group Results of this studies show that the major issues are a lack of full-time applicants and a demand for doctoral degree holders, and poor coursework. For doctoral education programs to successfully cultivate next generation academicians in the field of international trade, it is imperative for graduate schools to recruit distinguished full-time students. For this purpose, graduate schools must offer sufficient financial support packages as well as provide their students with good coursework and rigorous procedures on defending their dissertation. In addition, some graduate schools that mainly admit part-time students need to focus more on the quality of their doctoral degrees. Finally, preferential treatment of recruitment procedures might be helpful in expanding employment opportunities for new doctoral degree holders in international trade.

  • Overseas marketing before the conclusion of a contract is a huge obstacle to enter the global market because it has needed the company's maximum capacities which are some cost, time and human resources. Thus it required a reestablishment about the education fields and research schemes. Due to the advancements in ICT and internet, a subject of e-trade is becoming a critical issue with a subject of a practice of international trade. However, since the mid-2000s, e-trade research articles and educational materials such as textbooks, research papers are being gradually reduced. Therefore the purpose of this study, from an oversea marketing point of view among the various e-trade fields, is to measure an education performance and an academic research scheme. And this study will suggest direction of improvement about research scheme and educational performance in the overseas marketing. According to the result, to establish the education and research scheme about SEM(Search Engine Marketing), SEO(Search Engine Optimization) and SNA(Social Network Analysis) which are introduced in the industry among the education and research field related the e-trade is urgent. And some subjects need a capstone-design reconcile theory and practice.

A Study of Trade Experts Incubating in University and the SME Export Performance (대학의 산학협력 무역인력 양성이 중소기업 수출성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Trade education methods that combine practical knowledge and on-site job training have significantly contributed in improving abilities of trade experts. For instance, GTEP and LINC have contributed to a substantial expansion of SME export performane. Moreover, students' cooperation experience have led to employment outcomes as SMEs can employ customized trade workers. I have conducted a survey to 100 students about university-industry collaboration. Results show that ICT skills and foreign language ability are the highest required conditions of employment while production and technology knowledge are the lowest. Furthermore, 50 companies operating in foreign markets responded that through industry-university cooperation, capabilities of university graduates have improved and trade education cooperation scheme is a success.

  • 본 논문에서는 사이버무역의 활성화를 위한 산학협력 방안을 제시하기 위하여 무역업무의 새로운 패러다임인 무역자동화, 인터넷의 등장, 무역업무의 사이버화를 다루며, 사이버무역의 현황 및 전망에서는 사이버무역이 실제 무역업무에서 어느 정도 사용되고 있으며 사이버무역의 전망을 살펴보고 사이버무역의 발전가능성을 타진하여 사이버무역의 활성화를 위한 산학협력방안을 제시한다. 특히 산학 협력을 위한 방안중의 하나로 대학과 업체의 중계회사를 두어 대학에서 이를 운영하고 관리하여 업체에서 필요한 지식과 기술을 교과과정에 적용하고 이러한 교과과정을 통한 교육을 실시하여 업체에서 필요한 인력을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 아울러 산업자원부 및 무역협회의 사이버무역인력 양성 프로그램과 호흡을 맞춰 산학협력을 위한 무역회사를 운영하고 이를 통한 이론과 실무를 함께 교육할 수 있는 기반을 마련하여 21세기 사이버무역의 기반을 제공 하고자 한다. 본 연구의 모델인 S사는 2000년 4월 설립된 회사이므로 부족한 점들이 많이 있어 이를 기반으로 산학협력을 위한 한 모델링(modeling)을 제시한다는 것이 다소 무리가 있지만, S사를 운영하면서 이를 통한 무역업체에서 요구하는 인력 및 교과과정의 조율을 통하여 미비하지만 사이버무역의 활성화에 일조하고자 하는 바램이다.

A Effective Role of Education on International Trade and Income Distribution (국제무역과 소득분배에 대한 교육의 역할)

  • In this paper is two-step trade model introduced. It is assumed that countries have 3 basic factors- capital(K), land (Z)and population(N)-as national factor endowments. As the first step, education 'produces' 'educated labor(EL)' which embodies new knowledge or new technology by using the population and capital as inputs. As the second step, manufacturing goods is produced with EL and uneducated labor(UL), and agriculture goods with land and UL. According to this model, the higher the increase rate of capital in a country is, the lower the usage rate of land is, the lower the increase rate of discount is, the country tends to export the manufacturing goods and import the agriculture goods. Trade widens the discrepancy of increase rate of EL in both countries but reduces the gap of increase rate of relative wage of EL as far as the gap of usage rate is not so big. Trade also affect real income rather than nominal income. This model can be extended to explain the migration from rural areas to urban areas when the manufacturing sector and education organization exist in urban area while the agricultural sector exist in rural area.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting the purchase of Fair Trade products and to segment consumer which were typed according to the fair trade consumption competency, attitude and ethical consciousness of the University students. As a result, there are 4 type consumers, general type, indifferent type, individualism type, and fair trade practice type. Factors that directly affect the purchase experience of Fair Trade products are knowledge, willingness and interest in fair trade. In the end, education should be provided through fair education and ethical consumption through systematic education, and outside of school, social effort should be accompanied by the media and various contents to enable college students to promote their knowledge and interest in fair trade. In order to activate the fair trade market, it will be necessary to improve the quality to secure the market value as a commodity and to increase the price acceptance of the consumer.

  • When existing trade creates a product, a series of processes is terminated when a seller or a buyer subscribes for transportation insurance and is guided through customs procedures according to the terms of the sales contract and then receives payment for it. Training practical Trade kowhow is also educated focusing on the procedures of these contracts. A new paradigm of the fourth industrial revolution was launched in the development of information communication technology and computer technology. Also, due to the Xinhuo tradeism triggered by the United States, the risk of commodity trading is further increasing. Currently, trade practical education of university and industry is carried out for most lecture and discussion. Since 2014, the curriculumof the department of trade has been increasingly managed by the NCS process. The curriculumof the department of trade department has the advantage of being managed in consideration of the characteristics of the company that wishes to find employment and the level of work content. Standardized, the curriculumcan faithfully reflect the characteristics of the company and the level of the work content. In the new era, a new educational method that reflects the trend of the 4th industrial revolution era is necessary. In this research, we propose that service trade practical education should be educated mainly on contracts, not on procedural basis as with traditional commodity trade education.

A Survey Study on the Performance of Cyber Trade of Korean Traders (사이버무역에 관한 무역업계 실태(實態) 조사(調査))

  • [ $\Box$ ]무역업계는 인터넷의 발전에 따라 급속히 사이버화 하고 있는 무역환경에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해 사이버무역의 도입과 활성화를 위한 움직임을 급속히 확대하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 조사대상업체의 절반이 넘는(51.8%) 업체들이 자사제품 홍보, 거래선 발굴, 오퍼 및 거래협상 둥 각종 무역업무에 인터넷을 이용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 그러나 무역업계의 사이버무역 활용은 아직 초기단계 수준으로, 이용업체의 절반이상(57.3%)은 작년(1999년) 이후에 처음으로 사이버무역을 시작하였으며 사이버무역에 의한 수출비중도 10% 미만(1999년: 8.8%)의 낮은 수준인 것으로 조사되었다. - 반면, 향후 무역업계의 사이버무역 도입 확대와 수출비중 증가는 가속화될 것으로 나타나, 2000년에는 사이버무역 비중이 전년보다 두 배 이상 늘어난 18.7%에 달할 것으로 예상되었으며, 특히 중소기업의 경우 사이버무역 비중이 상대적으로 대기업보다 커질 것으로 전망되었다. $\Box$ 무역업계가 사이버무역을 도입하는 이유로는 "해외시장 개척효과" 때문이라는 응답이 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 "수출업무 신속화률 통한 인건비 절감"과 "광고비의 절약" 등의 효과를 염두에 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 따라서 여러 수출단계 중에서도 "해외거래선 발굴", "해외시장정보의 수집", "자사 제품의 해외 홍보" 등 주로 시장개척과 마케팅단계에서 사이버무역이 가장 많이 활용되고 성과도 큰 것으로 나타났다. - 시장개척과 마케팅을 위하여 약 40%의 무역업체가 무역거래 알선 사이트를 이용하고 있으며 특히 중소기업의 활용이 두드러진 것으로 파악되었다. - 반면, 사이버무역 활동이 애로를 겪고 있는 수출단계로는 "대금결제, 물류 유통", "신용조회", "거래계약 체결" 등의 순으로 조사되었는데, 이는 국제적 인증제도의 미비, 신용조사에 대한 공신력 부족 둥이 주된 요인인 것으로 분석되었다. $\Box$ 한편, 무역업계는 사이버무역의 필요성과 활용성과에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있으나, 사이버무역을 활성화하는데 필요한 인프라로서 사이버 무역 전문인력이나 인터넷 통신환경 등은 아직 만족할 만한 수준이 못 되는 것으로 조사되었다. - 사이버인력 부문에서는 무역업무 종사자 중 인터넷 활용직원의 비율이 50%가 되지 않는 업체가 전체의 절반을 넘고 있으며, 특히 중소기업의 인터넷 활용 직원의 비율이 대기업에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. - 향후 무역업체가 10명의 무역인력을 채용한다고 가정할 경우, 평균 4.5명을 사이버무역 전문인력으로 채용할 계획이라고 밝히고 있으며, 중소기업(4.7명)이 대기업(3.4명)보다 사이버무역 전문인력에 대한 수요가 더 큰 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 대책이 시급한 것으로 파악되었다. - 인터넷 전용선 설치비율도 전체적으로 40%대에 그치고 있으며, 특히 중소기업의 경우 전용선 이용비율(38.5%)이 대기업(80%)의 절반에도 못미치는 열악한 수준에 있어 중소기업의 사이버 무역이용에 하나의 걸림돌이 되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. $\Box$ 사이버 무역활성화를 위해 가장 시급한 과제로는 "사이버무역 전문인력 확충을 위한 체계적 교육 및 훈련제공"과 "사이버무역 관련법규 및 제도의 마련"으로 나타나, - 정부나 유관기관이 앞장서서 사이버무역 관련 교육프로그램의 개발, 자격시험제도의 도입 등과 아울러 대외무역법 둥 관련법률 및 제도를 정비해 줄 것을 무역업계에서 기대하는 것으로 지적되었다.
