The most used smart set-top box in home driven by the Android OS and based on Wi-Fi technology has to ensure nothing wrong with the Wi-Fi service regardless of the various user's installation environment. The direction test method about the nondirectional of the Wi-Fi doesn't be determined as the standard and each manufacturers devise the their own test methods and conduct the tests. In this paper, we created the 720 test cases considering 2 components of upload & download, the 10 elements of the vertical angle and the 36 elements of the horizontal angle looking at the wireless router in order to verify omni-directional Wi-Fi capability. In reality, from viewpoint in terms of cost and time constraint, it is difficult to test all the test cases. Therefore, we decided to reduce test cases by applying Pair-wise testing technique which is one of combinational testing techniques based on ISO / IEC 29119-4. And we obtained the test cases in which the Pair-wise technique was applied by Allpairs tool which output test cases automatically and conducted the test. It could be confirmed that the proposed technique shortened 48.61% of the time to be spent in progressing the existing test cases and that the trace about the part in which the problem was generated with the result of the simplified test case was possible enough.

This paper proposes an on-line mining algorithm of moving trajectory patterns in RFID data streams considering changing characteristics over time and constraints of single-pass data scan. Since RFID, sensor, and mobile network technology have been rapidly developed, many researchers have been recently focused on the study of real-time data gathering from real-world and mining the useful patterns from them. Previous researches for sequential patterns or moving trajectory patterns based on stream data have an extremely time-consum ing problem because of multi-pass database scan and tree traversal, and they also did not consider the time-changing characteristics of stream data. The proposed method preserves the sequential strength of 2-lengths frequent patterns in binary relationship table using the time-evolving graph to exactly reflect changes of RFID data stream from time to time. In addition, in order to solve the problem of the repetitive data scans, the proposed algorithm infers candidate k-lengths moving trajectory patterns beforehand at a time point t, and then extracts the patterns after screening the candidate patterns by only one-pass at a time point t+1. Through the experiment, the proposed method shows the superior performance in respect of time and space complexity than the Apriori-like method according as the reduction ratio of candidate sets is about 7 percent.
WSN has been utilized in various directions from basic infrastructure of environment composition to business models including corporate inventory, production and distribution management. However, as energy organizations' private information, which should be protected safely, has been integrated with ICT such as WSN to be informatization, it is placed at potential risk of leaking out with ease. Accordingly, it is time to need secure sensor node deployment strategies for stable enterprise business. Establishment of fragmentary security enhancement strategies without considering energy organizations' security status has a great effect on energy organizations' business sustainability in the event of a security accident. However, most of the existing security level evaluation models for diagnosing energy organizations' security use technology-centered measurement methods, and there are very insufficient studies on managerial and environmental factors. Therefore, this study would like to diagnose energy organizations' security and to look into how to accordingly establish strategies for planning secure sensor node deployment strategies.
The improved performance and miniaturization of computer and the improvement of wireless communication technology have enabled the emergence of many high quality services. Among them multicast services are receiving much attention and their usage is increasing due to the increase of Internet multimedia services such as video conference, multimedia stream, internet TV, etc. Security plays an important role in mobile multicast services. In this paper, we proposed a secure multicast protocol for a hierarchical micro-mobility environment. The proposed secure multicast protocol provides security services such as authentication, access control, confidentiality and integrity using mechanisms including symmetric/asymmetric key crypto-algorithms and capabilities. To provide forward/backward secrecy and scalability, we used sub-group keys based on the hierarchical micro-mobility environment. With this security services, it is possible to guard against all kinds of security attacks performed by illegal mobile nodes. Attacks executed by internal nodes can be thwarted except those attacks which delete packet or cause network resources to be wasted. We used simulator to measure the performance of proposed protocol. As a result, the simulation showed that effect of these security mechanisms on the multicast protocol was not too high.
With the rapid development of multimedia applications and wireless communication networks, consumer demand for video-over-wireless capability on mobile computing systems is growing rapidly. In this regard, this paper introduces YUV-aware instructions that enhance the performance and efficiency in the processing of color image and video. Traditional multimedia extensions (e.g., MMX, SSE, VIS, and AltiVec) depend solely on generic subword parallelism whereas the proposed YUV-aware instructions support parallel operations on two-packed 16-bit YUV (6-bit Y, 5-bits U, V) values in a 32-bit datapath architecture, providing greater concurrency and efficiency for color image and video processing. Moreover, the ability to reduce data format size reduces system cost. Experiment results on a representative dynamically scheduled embedded superscalar processor show that YUV-aware instructions achieve an average speedup of 3.9x over the baseline superscalar performance. This is in contrast to MMX (a representative Intel#s multimedia extension), which achieves a speedup of only 2.1x over the same baseline superscalar processor. In addition, YUV-aware instructions outperform MMX instructions in energy reduction (75.8% reduction with YUV-aware instructions, but only 54.8% reduction with MMX instructions over the baseline).

In this paper, we proposed the image hiding method which decreases calculation amount by encrypt partial data using discrete wavelet transform and linear scale quantization which were adopted as the main technique for frequency transform in JPEG2000 standard. Also we used the chaotic system which has smaller calculation amount than other encryption algorithms and then dramatically decreased calculation amount. This method operates encryption process between quantization and entropy coding for preserving compression ratio of images and uses the subband selection method and the random changing method using the chaotic system. For ciphering the quantization index we use a novel image encryption algerian of cyclically shifted in the right or left direction and encrypts two quantization assignment method (Top-down/Reflection code), made change of data less. Also, suggested encryption method to JPEG2000 progressive transmission. The experiments have been performed with the proposed methods implemented in software for about 500 images. consequently, we are sure that the proposed are efficient image encryption methods to acquire the high encryption effect with small amount of encryption. It has been shown that there exits a relation of trade-off between the execution time and the effect of the encryption. It means that the proposed methods can be selectively used according to the application areas. Also, because the proposed methods are performed in the application layer, they are expected to be a good solution for the end-to-end security problem, which is appearing as one of the important problems in the networks with both wired and wireless sections.

Inter-vehicular communication that propagates information without infrastructures has drawn a lot of interest. However, it is difficult to apply conventional ad-hoc routing protocols directly in inter-vehicular communication due to frequent changes in the network topology caused by high mobility of the vehicles. MMFP(Multi-hop MAC Forwarding) is a unicast forwarding protocol that transport packets based on the reachability information instead of path selection or position information. However, delivering public safety messages informing road conditions such as collision, obstacles and fog through inter-vehicular communication requires broadcast rather than unicast since these messages contain information valuable to most drivers within a close proximity. Flooding is one of the simplest methods for multi-hop broadcast, but it suffers from reduced packet delivery-ratio and high transmission delay due to an excessive number of duplicated packets. This paper presents two multi-hop broadcast protocols for inter-vehicular communication that extend the MMFP. UMHB(Unreliable Multi-Hop Broadcast) mitigates the duplicated packets of MMFP by limiting the number of nodes to rebroadcast packets. UMHB, however, still suffers from low delivery ratio. RMHB(Reliable Multi-Hop Broadcast) uses acknowledgement and retransmission in order to improve the reliability of UMHB at the cost of increase in transmission delay, which we show through simulation is within an acceptable range for collision avoidance application.

Shannon of the 5G smartphone and Fourier of the signal processing meet in the sampling theorem (2 times the highest frequency 1). In this paper, the initial Shannon Theorem finds the Shannon capacity at the point-to-point, but the 5G shows on the Relay channel that the technology has evolved into Multi Point MIMO. Fourier transforms are signal processing with fixed parameters. We analyzed the performance by proposing a 2N-1 multivariate Fourier-Jacket transform in the multimedia age. In this study, the authors tackle this signal processing complexity issue by proposing a Jacket-based fast method for reducing the precoding/decoding complexity in terms of time computation. Jacket transforms have shown to find applications in signal processing and coding theory. Jacket transforms are defined to be $n{\times}n$ matrices $A=(a_{jk})$ over a field F with the property $AA^{\dot{+}}=nl_n$, where $A^{\dot{+}}$ is the transpose matrix of the element-wise inverse of A, that is, $A^{\dot{+}}=(a^{-1}_{kj})$, which generalise Hadamard transforms and centre weighted Hadamard transforms. In particular, exploiting the Jacket transform properties, the authors propose a new eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) method with application in precoding and decoding of distributive multi-input multi-output channels in relay-based DF cooperative wireless networks in which the transmission is based on using single-symbol decodable space-time block codes. The authors show that the proposed Jacket-based method of EVD has significant reduction in its computational time as compared to the conventional-based EVD method. Performance in terms of computational time reduction is evaluated quantitatively through mathematical analysis and numerical results.

This paper is able to be solved by improving degradation in multi-path environment by adjust beam pattern angle through modifying pulse phase of each antennas by using TRM (Transmitter Receiver Module). Beam Scanning Array Antenna, which is transmitter/receiver that improves degradation in multi-path environment without any signal distortion, is designed and manufactured. Beam Scanning Array Antenna should be able to send/receive signal at the antenna's longitudinal part without distortion and should not influences other systems. Also, it should include target detecting ability by beam steering.Dispersion characteristic of Beam Scanning Antenna, which is designed, is analysed by using fidelity, and steering and radar resolution performance is verified by using $1cm{\times}1cm$ sized target. To manufacture Beam Scanning Array Antenna, control board and GUI, which is able to control Vivaldi Antenna for IR-UWB, Tri-Band Wilkinson power divider, and TRM (Transmitter Receiver Module), is designed. Throughout this research, developed Beam Scanning UWB Array Antenna system is adoptable for radar application field. and time domain analysis techniques by using network analyser made the antenna characteristics analysis for setting up antenna more accurate. Recently, the development of sensor devices has accelerated researches on advanced technologies like Wireless Sensor Networks. Moreover, spatial sensors using GPS lead to the era of the Ubiquitous Computing Environment which generally uses spatial information and non-spatial information together. In this new era, a real-time processing system for spatial sensor data is essential. In this reason, new data processing systems called DSMS(Data Stream Management System) are being developed by many researchers. However, since most of them do not support geometry types and spatial functions to process spatial sensor data, they are not suitable for the Ubiquitous Computing Environment. For these reasons, in this paper, we designed and implemented a spatial DSMS by extending STREAM which stands for STanford stREam datA Manager, to solve these problems. We added geometry types and spatial functions to STREAM in order to process spatial sensor data efficiently. In addition, we implemented a Spatial Object Manager to manage shared spatial objects within the system. Especially, we implemented the Simple Features Specification for SQL of OGC for interoperability and applied algorithms in GEOS to our system.
