A Study on an Efficient Routing Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Network (무선 센서네트워크에서 효율적인 라우팅 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Conventional routing protocols proposed for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) cannot fully accommodate the characteristics of WSNs. In particular, although it is possible to largely obtain benefits in the solution of energy consumption and global identification problems through applying position information, there are few protocols that actively apply such position information. In the case of geographical and energy aware routing (GEAR) that is a typical algorithm, which uses position information, it does not fully represent the characteristics of WSNs because it is limited to forward query messages and assumed as fixed network environments. The routing protocols proposed in this paper defines the direction of data, which is routed based on the position information of individual and target nodes, in which each node configures its next hop based on this direction and routes signals. Because it performs data-centric routing using position information, it does not require certain global identifications in order to verify individual nodes and is able to avoid unnecessary energy consumption due to the forwarding of packets by defining its direction.

  • In modern electronic warfare, a variety of devices are being operated in the fields for the purposes of communication and surveillance. Therefore, if such devices work in the same band, interference may occur and affect each other. Regarding L-band in which various devices including radar systems are operating, interference from existing devices may affect new ones in the band. In this paper, we estimate a probability distribution of the interference environment in L-band from the selected measurement data, which is fundamental for the mathematical analysis. After selecting the candidates of probability distribution, we suggest the best one from the group. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as fundamental data for the mathematical approach to the L-band interference environment.

  • Recently, Ubiquitous Computing appeared to achieve service that is intelligence enemy without being courted in restriction that is time and space enemy based on developing computer network and Internet festinately. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology that process information of tag that is attached in physical object by point technology that capacitate this Ubiquitous Computing through radio frequency identify is noted. Present RFID connection technologies are Auto-lD Lab and EPCglobal Inc. To center research for standardization progress. But, present RFID related researches connected with tag and leader are progressed vigorously and research about middleware or software description to service actuality tooth is insufficient misgovernment. In this treatise, therefore, characteristic of comparison and analyze about EPC network architecture proposed Auto-lD Lab and EPCglobal Inc. and conceptual application architectures had used existent application development and integration.

  • This paper describes two kinds of personal hand-held electronic devices to support marine leisure safety. The one is Radar response-type safety device triggering by the pulse signal from a commercial 9GHz-band Radar to provide quick search and rescue with combined civilian-government-military fleets. The other one is M-RFID (Marine Radio Frequency IDentification) based safety electronic device using 900MHz Tx/Rx with spread spectrum frequency hopping and GPS. Through the field tests at sea using Korea Coast Guard's warship the operating performances are verified. Further plan for practical use of each device was also discussed.

  • The automatic modulation recognition of a radio signal is a major task of an intelligent receiver, with various civilian and military applications. In this paper, we propose a method to recognize the modulation of radio signals in wireless communication based on the deep neural network. We classify the modulation pattern of radio signal by using the LSTM model, which can catch the long-term pattern for the sequential data as the input data of the deep neural network. The amplitude and phase of the modulated signal, the in-phase carrier, and the quadrature-phase carrier are used as input data in the LSTM model. In order to verify the performance of the proposed learning method, we use a large dataset for training and test, including the ten types of modulation signal under various signal-to-noise ratios.

  • Linear wireless sensor networks typically construct a network topology with a high reliability through sequential 1:1 mapping among sensor nodes, so that they are used in various surveillance applications of major national infrastructures. Most existing techniques for identifying sensor nodes in those networks are using GPS, AOA, and RSSI mechanisms. However, GPS or AOA based node identification techniques affect the size or production cost of the nodes so that it is not easy to construct practical sensor networks. RSSI based techniques may have a high deviation regrading location identification according to propagation environments and equipment quality so that complexity of error correction algorithm may increase. We propose a timestamps based sequential localization algorithm that uses transmit and receive timestamps in a message between sensor nodes without using GPS, AOA, and RSSI techniques. The algorithms for distance measurement between each node are expected to measure distance within up to 1 meter in case of an crystal oscillator of 300MHz or more.

  • This paper is to improve an identification ratio of tags by analyzing Slotted ALOHA, Dynamic Slotted ALOHA, Binary-tree and Query-tree and shortening the tag identification time in mobile RFID. Also, it enables the stable information transmission of tags by saving backscattering power of tags through shortening of identification time. As a result, this increases the available time of the battery and accessibility to a RFID service. For this, we proposed the energy-efficient tag anti-collision protocol for mobile RFID. The proposed scheme shows advanced result in identification time and collision counts. This scheme may be the first attempt for the mobile anti-collision.

  • In this paper, marine accidents recently happened in Korea and Japan for 5 years, especially through the analysis of accident characteristics for fishing vessels, including small vessels were analyzed. Also propose a new maritime safety communication network in the form of a comprehensive considering the wave propagation characteristics and operational characteristics of radio communication equipments should be installed in the vessel through comprehensive analysis of the regulation according to the radio equipment and the ship's location identification device installation and operation.

  • RFID 기술은 전파 신호, 즉 라디오 주파수를 이용한 무선 인터페이스를 통해 사물의 정보를 원격으로 주고 받을 수 있는 기술로서, 기존 바코드의 단점을 보완하여 사물의정보화를 촉진함으로써 향후 USN 환경의 핵심 기술로 활용될 것이다. 특히 RFID 기술은 기존의 자동식별 매체에 비해 인식거리 및 제작가격 등에서 서비스 창출과 시장 활성화에 유리한 특징을 갖고 있으므로 현재 물류 및 유통 업계를 중심으로 테스트베드구축과 실증실험이 진행되고 있다. 따라서, 본 고에서는 국제 표준화기구인 ISO/IEC및 RFID 기술 규격화 단체인 EPC global, 그리고 국내 표준화 그룹을 중심으로, RFID기술의 표준화 및 관련 기술 동향을 정리한다.

  • AIS는 선박국과 선박국, 선박국과 해안국간의 선박 항행 안전을 위한 시스템으로 운용되었으나 최근에는 항행원조, 조난구조, 소형 선박 등에 탑재되어 해상 안전 확보를 위한 범위를 확대하고 있으며 차세대 해상 항행 시스템인 Electronic-Navigation을 구축하기 위한 핵심 통신 장비로 위치를 확고히 하고 있다. 또한 위성을 이용해서 기존 가시권 통신 범위를 벗어나 장거리 통신도 가능하도록 보완되고 있으며 연근해에서도 산란이나 덕팅 등 전파 현상을 활용해서 통신 범위를 확장하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 기술적인 연구 결과들이 ITU, IEC 등 관련 국제 표준에 반영되고 있다. 본 눈문에서는 최근 ITC, IEC 등에서 AIS 관련 국제 표준 개정 현황을 분석하고 비교하였다. 특히 ITU-R M.1381 개정에서 변경 및 추가된 기술 항목에 대해서 분석하고 기술하였다.
