Estimation of Onion Weight on Growth Stages Using Functional Regression Model (범함수 회귀모형을 이용한 성장단계별 양파무게의 추정)

  • 본 논문에서 우리는 범함수 회귀모형을 이용한 양파의 성장단계별 무게를 예측할 수 있는 새로운 통계적 추정방법을 제안한다. 여기서 우리는 풍속, 평균온도, 강우량, 일조량 그리고 습도 등 나타내는 환경요인들을 설명변수들로 사용하고, 양파의 성장단계별 무게를 반응변수로 사용하여 범함수 회귀모형을 적용하였다. 먼저 그래프분석과 상관분석을 통하여 우리는 일일 평균온도는 양파의 무게 증진에 가장 큰 양의상관이 있고, 풍속이나 습도 그리고 일조량들은 양파의 성장에 약간의 영향력이 있으며 강우량은 양파의 성장에 전혀 도움이 안됨을 알 수 있었다. 두 번째로 범함수 회귀 분석을 통하여 얻어진 각 환경요인들에 대한 회귀계수들의 그림을 통하여 우리는 양파의 성장 기간 동안에 이들의 무게를 향상시키기 위해서는 어떻게 환경요인들을 관리해야 되는 가를 알 수 있는 재배방법을 유도하였다.

On the Weight and Nonlinearity of Quadratic Rotation Symmetric Boolean Functions (회전대칭 이차 불함수의 해밍무게 및 비선형성)

  • Recently, rotation symmetric Boolean functions have attracted attention since they are suitable for fast evaluation and show good cryptographic properties. For example, important problems in coding theory were settled by searching the desired functions in the rotation symmetric function space. Moreover, they are applied to designing fast hashing algorithms. On the other hand, for some homogeneous rotation symmetric quadratic functions of simple structure, the exact formulas for their Hamming weights and nonlinearity were found[2,8]. Very recently, more formulations were carried out for much broader class of the functions[6]. In this paper, we make a further improvement by deriving the formula for the Hamming weight of quadratic rotation symmetric functions containing linear terms.

The Implementable Functions of the CoreNet of a Multi-Valued Single Neuron Network (단층 코어넷 다단입력 인공신경망회로의 함수에 관한 구현가능 연구)

  • One of the purposes of an artificial neural netowrk(ANNet) is to implement the largest number of functions as possible with the smallest number of nodes and layers. This paper presents a CoreNet which has a multi-leveled input value and a multi-leveled output value with a 2-layered ANNet, which is the basic structure of an ANNet. I have suggested an equation for calculating the capacity of the CoreNet, which has a p-leveled input and a q-leveled output, as $a_{p,q}={\frac{1}{2}}p(p-1)q^2-{\frac{1}{2}}(p-2)(3p-1)q+(p-1)(p-2)$. I've applied this CoreNet into the simulation model 1(5)-1(6), which has 5 levels of an input and 6 levels of an output with no hidden layers. The simulation result of this model gives, the maximum 219 convergences for the number of implementable functions using the cot(${\sqrt{x}}$) input leveling method. I have also shown that, the 27 functions are implementable by the calculation of weight values(w, ${\theta}$) with the multi-threshold lines in the weight space, which are diverged in the simulation results. Therefore the 246 functions are implementable in the 1(5)-1(6) model, and this coincides with the value from the above eqution $a_{5,6}(=246)$. I also show the implementable function numbering method in the weight space.

Quantification of Rockwool Substrate Water Content using a Capacitive Water Sensor (정전용량 수분센서의 배지 함수량 정량화)

  • A capacitive water sensor was developed to measure the capacitance over a wide part of a substrate using an insulated electrode plate (30 cm × 10 cm) with copper and Teflon attached on either side of the substrate. This study aimed to convert the capacitance output obtained from the condenser-type capacitance sensor into the substrate water content. The quantification experiment was performed by measuring the changes in substrate water weight and capacitance while providing a nutrient solution and by subsequently comparing these values. The substrate water weight and capacitance were measured every 20 to 30 seconds using the sensor and load cell with a software developed specifically for this study. Using a curve-fitting program, the substrate water content was estimated from the output of the capacitance using the water weight and capacitance of the substrate as variables. When the amount of water supplied was increased, the capacitance tended to increase. Coefficient of variation (CV) in capacitance according to the water weight in substrate was greater with the 1.0 kg of water weight, compared with other weights. Thus, the fitting was performed with higher than 1.0 kg, from 1.7 to 6.0 kg of water weight. The correlation coefficient between the capacitance and water weight in substrate was 0.9696. The calibration equation estimated water content from the capacitance, and it was compared with the substrate water weight measured by the load cell.

A Study on the Measurement of Water Content in Hydrogel Contact Lens by Gravimetric Method (중량측정법에 의한 하이드로젤 콘택트렌즈의 함수율 측정에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand a relation of water content measurement with two different method, water removal method and dry method. Methods: 72 hydrogel contact lens containing various water content (ranged from 47% to 58%) were measured by the gravimetric method at 20$^{\circ}C$and 21% of the humidity. We weighed the dried test specimen at room temperature for 30 min after cooling. Results: In dry blotting method, the water content was measured to 47.43${\pm}$8.48%. The water contents was measured to 48.15${\pm}$8.36% with wet blotting condition. It was found that wet blotting method showed the higher water content of about 7% than dry blotting method. In water content with two dry methods, each of results was measured by 47.89${\pm}$8.06% and 49.56${\pm}$7.06%. In case of microwave method, the water content was measured significantly higher water content of about 1.67% than vacuum oven method. However, no statistical difference was found (p>0.05). Conclusions: In water removal method (Dry blotting method and Wet blotting method) to weigh hydrated test specimen, wet blotting method showed significantly higher water content than dry blotting method. Also in case of dry methods (vacuum oven and microwave) to weigh dry test specimen, water content of microwave method showed higher water content than vacuum oven method, but it should be noted that microwave oven method must be used carefully to measure accurateness on the specimen position and wave power.

Calculation of weight functions in single edge notched specimen (SEN시편에서의 무게함수 계산)

  • In this paper, the weight functions for the Mode I and Mode II in SEN(single edge notched) specimen are obtained by superposition of the displacement in the singular field of the Buckner type and the displacements by opposite tractions induced by the singular field. The stress intensity factors, $K_{I}$ and $K_{II}$ are calculated by the weight function theory in SEN specimen under the loading equivalent to uniform tension and shear at infinity in Griffith crack. And the results are compared with the exact solutions.s.

  • 본 논문에서는 무게중심좌표계에 의한 공간벡터 PWM의 간단한 구현방법을 제안한다. 무게중심좌표계를 사용하면 듀티비를 계산할 때 SIN, COS의 함수계산없이 단순한 사칙연산만을 사용하고 기준벡터가 속한 섹터에 따라 서로 다른 듀티비를 정하는 식을 유도할 필요가 없으며 듀티비가 어떻게 정해지는지에 대한 직관적인 이해를 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 무게중심 좌표계에서 공간벡터 PWM의 듀티비를 정하는 원리에 대하여 설명한다.

Design of Fuzzy Controller for Two Wheeled Inverted Pendulum Robot Using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 이륜 역진자 로봇의 퍼지제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, a controller for two wheeled inverted pendulum robot is designed to have more stable balancing capability than conventional controller. Fuzzy control structure is chosen for the two wheeled inverted pendulum robot, and fuzzy membership function factors for the controller are obtained for specified 3 users' weights using trial-and-error method. Next a neural network is employed to generate fuzzy membership function factors for more stable control performance when the user's weight is arbitrarily selected. Through the simulation study we find that the designed fuzzy controller using the neural network is superior to the conventional fuzzy controller.

  • In this paper, a control system for two wheeled inverted pendulum robot is implemented to have more stable balancing capability than the conventional control system.   • 본 연구는 대추 수확기개발을 위한 기초연구로써 대추의 열매, 잎, 잎줄기의 물리적 역학적 특성을 조사.분석하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. .대추 열매의 평균 장경, 경, 부피, 무게, 탈과력은 각각 32.02 mm, 23.9 mm, 10.0$\times$$10^{-6}$m$^3$, 5.2~12.8g, 5.7 N으로 나타났다. .대추무게가 증가하면 탈과력은 증가하고, F/W는 감소하는 경향을 나타났다. .대추나무가지의 평균 탄성계수는 7.01$\times$$10^{8}$ N/m$^2$였고, 가지의 굵기가 증가하면서 감소하였다. .대추나무가지의 평균 비틀림 강성은 5.2$\times$$10^{7}$ N/m$^2$으로 나타났으며, 가지의 굵기가 증가하면서 음의 지수 함수적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타냈으나, 데이터가 일정한 범위에 산재해 있어 가지의 굵기에 따른 강성계수변화 특성은 일정한 경향으로는 나타나지 않았다. .대추 잎줄기의 평균 무게, 잎수, 길이가 각각 0.7g, 6.6개, 12.2 cm로 나타났다. .대추 잎의 평균 잎면적, 무게, 탈리력은 각각 13 $cm^2$, 0.2g, 4.4 N으로 나타났다. .종말속도는 대추 열매의 무게가 증가하면서 증가하고, 대추잎의 무게, 면적이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 잎줄기의 종말속도는 잎줄기 무게 혹은 잎줄기에 매달린 잎의 수와는 거의 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 잎줄기의 길이가 증가할수록 약간씩 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다.
