Diagnosis and Scheduling Agent Systems for Collaborative Learning (협력학습을 위한 진단과 스케줄링 에이전트 시스템)

  • 본연구는 웹 상에서 원격 협력 학습을 위한 수준별 협력 학습자 진단 및 스케줄링 에이전트의 설계와 구현에 관한 연구이다. 원격 협력 학습은 동일한 학습내용에 흥미를 갖는 아동이 동시에 학습할 수 있는 환경이 필요하며 학습자의 지식 또한 비슷한 수준이어야 효과적인 협력학습을 할 수 있다. 분산 환경의 이질적인 학습자를 모으기 위해서는 좀 더 자율적이고 지능적인 시스템이 필요하며 학습자에 대한 지식을 표현하는 학습자 모델이 요구된다. 이를 위해 에이전트 시스템이 적절하게 사용될수 있으며 학습자의 수준을 판단하기 위한 진단 에이전트와 협력학습이 가능한 여러명의 학습자들을 알맞은 시간과 서버에 연결하는 스케줄링 에이전트를 웹 기반 지능형 교수 시스템에 접목하였다. 학습자 수준을 진단하는 진단 에이전트는 확신도를 높이기 위해 3-모수 로지스틱 확신공식과 시간 가중치 확신인자 공식을 적용하여 신뢰도를 높였다 또한 협력학습의 스케줄링을 위해 다양한 제약조건들의 최적해를 구하기 위해 제약 만족 문제(CSP)로 스케줄링 에이전트를 모델링하였다 본 연구에서 설계 구현한 협력학습자 진단 및 스케줄링 에이전트의 효율성을 살펴보기 위해 여러명의 학습자를 대상으로 실험하였다. 실험을 통해 각 학습자의 지식 수준 진단과 다수의 학습자가 적절한 협력학습을 하기 위한 스케줄링이 매우 효율적으로 이루어짐을 볼 수 있었다.

  • This study examines the educational meaning of the sum of the angles of a triangle in elementary school mathematics and discusses the introduction and explanation methods to convey the meaning faithfully. First, we investigated how to introduce the sum of the angles of a triangle in the Korean national mathematics curriculums from the past to the present and surveyed the experiences and opinions of the teachers. The results of the survey are summarized and discussed in three parts: The context of 'arranging angles activities' and 'measuring angles activities', the methods to convey the meaning of the sum of the angles of a triangle as an invariance, and other details.

  • Internet of things (IoT) is revolutionizing in the patient-Centered medical monitoring and management by authorizing the Smartphone application and data analysis with medical centers. The network connectivity is basic requirement to collect the observed human beings' health information from Smartphone to monitor the health from IoT medical devices in personal healthcare. The IoT environment built in Smartphone is very effective and does not demand infrastructure. This paper presents the smart phone deployed personal IoT architecture for Non-Invasive ECG Capturing. The adaptable IoT medical device cum Gateway is used for personal healthcare with big data storage on cloud configuration. In this approach, the Smartphone camera based imaging technique used to extract the personal ECG waveform and forward it to the cloud based big data storage connectivity using IoT architecture. Elaborated algorithm allows for efficient ECG registration directly from face image captured from Smartphone or Tablet camera. The profound technique may have an exceptional value in monitoring personal healthcare after adequate enhancements are introduced.

The Elementary Students' Understanding of Computer Science Through The Computer Science Show Program (컴퓨터과학 쇼를 통한 초등학생의 정보교육에 대한 인식변화)

  • Recently SW education has been emphasized in Korea, but many students do not have many opportunities to learn computer science. In this paper, I organized a computer science show to enhance interest and understanding of computer science. The computer science show consisted of understanding binary systems, send a text message, parity bit magic, finding a number card, and collecting colors (orange games). I applied the computer science show to elementary school students and looked at the results. Most of the students who participated in computer science shows did not have an "participation experience of computer science shows". As result of surveys, many students answered "I am interesting about computer science shows," "I am interested in computer science," and "I would recommend it to my friends nearby." Through research, I learned that computer science shows are a way for elementary students to draw interest in computer science and to create curiosity and interest in computer science. I found from research that computer science shows are a way to reduce students' learning burdens and to increase interest in computer science.

Meaning of the Experiences of Career Portfolio Production among Preservice Early Childhood Teachers (예비유아교사의 커리어 포트폴리오 제작 경험의 의미)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the meaning of the diverse experiences of preservice early childhood teachers during their participation in a career portfolio production program. A career portfolio production program was implemented during a nine-week period of time, and data were gathered to explore the meaning of their experiences in that process, which involved their journals, the report of their coaching professor and small- group interview data. The collected data were analyzed by encoding. As a result of analyzing the data, their experiences were categorized into eight categories: perceiving the flow of time, gathering scattered experiences, finding oneself amid chaos, being aware of being together, building psychological wellbeing, imagining one's own future as an early childhood teacher, mapping out one's future and making one's way to the world. The meanings of their experiences were reclassified into three stages: beginning, development and wrapping-up stages, in which there were two, four and two meanings respectively. The findings indicated that they were mostly cognizant of the meaning of their own experiences of producing career portfolio while they participated in the program step by step.

World Interest and Activities on Marine Litter (해양쓰레기의 전 지구적 관심과 실행)

  • After the UN General Assembly on 2006, Interest on the marine litter has rapidly increased internationally. The UN sub-organizations, UNEP/Regional Seas, FAO(Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and OC(Ocean Conservancy) as a one of world NGO had been tackled to collect information and prepared world reports related on marine litter, recently, those are published. Through the 10years experience of Korea's policy on marine litter since 1999, it is re-evaluated as a roll model internationally. In this paper, brief introduction of structure and function of Korea's authorities which are responsible for or are involved in the marine litter issue as well as the National Marine Litter Management Basic Plan which is established in 2008, has been provided. This paper also included the structure and roll of the marine litter initiative center in the plan. Change of the paradigm of action plan on marine litter in Korea already had been started.

Usefulness of Six emoticon newly adapted to facebook (페이스북 새로 도입된 6가지 감정의 유용성)

  • Rapid growth of internet utilization consequences in an expansion of individual's social networks via SNS. Recently, Facebook has added six different emotion buttons reflecting suggestions claiming that "Like" button is limited, and thus must be improved. Regarding to how well newly updated six different emotion buttons were utilized, a survey that inquires the usefulness and usability of buttons for further improvement in service was conducted to 35 Facebook users of 20's and 30's, the most active ages with frequent usages. As a result, users responded with negative attitudes considering expression of six different emotions in Facebook, and exhibited less frequent usages of the service. According to respondents, the emotion expression service would lead better approachability if Facebook suggests simpler emotion expression, for example, two emotion buttons rather than current six buttons.

  • Outer Space is existing as the opening-up frontier. The space activities included benefit-and-risk are now confronted with the challenge of arriving at just and effective rules for the use of space serving many technical, practical and conflicting legal, economic, political and military interests. Therefore many governments have developed domestic and international policies to respond to the opportunities and constraints engendered by space exploration and exploitation. the challenges of outer space toward the 21st century are being internationalized, commercialized, and privatized, militarized through the international cooperation and competition in space activities. For the future of mankind, futhermore the right to live of humankind, we must be positively interested in international space law which may give rise to international repercussions. I suggeste that many issues be resolved by international coordinating organization.

Government as a Platform Revitalization Strategy Derived from Webtoon Platform Success Factors (웹툰플랫폼 성공요인에서 도출한 플랫폼 정부 활성화 방안)

  • This study postulates that Government as a Platform(GaaP) could be a next generation government model, drawing activation strategy from success factors of webtoon platform by NAVER. It suggests success factors of Naver webtoon case based on three main components of platform strategy. First, in the aspect of platform infrastructure, Naver webtoon was established based on powerful portal site by parent company Naver and improved platform accessibility through using webtoon without login. Second, in the aspect of stakeholder engagement, Naver webtoon has offed webtoon at no cost and it has taken an intermediary role for supporting the stakeholders with PPS. Third, in the aspect of outputs production, Naver webtoon offered real time feedback from webtoon users that could affect webtoon production and established incubating system that allow users to create their webtoon. And due to PPS, it makes possible to various create second outputs based on webtoon, which can contribute to activating webtoon ecosystem.

  • Recently, deep neural network based approaches have shown a good performance for various fields of natural language processing. A huge amount of training data is essential for building a deep neural network model. However, collecting a large size of training data is a costly and time-consuming job. A data augmentation is one of the solutions to this problem. The data augmentation of text data is more difficult than that of image data because texts consist of tokens with discrete values. Generative adversarial networks (GANs) are widely used for image generation. In this work, we generate sentimental texts by using one of the GANs, CS-GAN model that has a discriminator as well as a classifier. We evaluate the usefulness of generated sentimental texts according to various measurements. CS-GAN model not only can generate texts with more diversity but also can improve the performance of its classifier.
