Due to the increased use of mobile devices, there is a lot of discussion on mobile accessibility. Mobile accessibility means that everyone, who includes the disabled, the elderly people, can easily use the functions of mobile devices. In this paper, we presented and implemented a mobile interface using a speech I/O APIs to improve the accessibility. The proposed interfaces are implemented on Android platforms and they used speech recognition and text-to-speech APIs supported as built-in services. In addition, to facilitate the internet access for visually impaired or blind people, we also implemented the web browsing application (web reader).

모바일 광고는 무선 디바이스의 발달로 인해 새로운 광고 수단 및 마케팅 수단이 되었다. 많은 이용자들이 무선 인터넷을 사용하고 있으며, 앞으로도 사용자는 증가할 것으로 보여진다. 그러나 무선 서비스는 단순한 SMS 형태의 서비스가 대부분이며, 이러한 SMS를 수신하는 이용자들은 자신이 원하지 않는 광고성 메시지의 수신 대해 상당한 거부감을 가지고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 광고 중계 모델 "ATPA" (Advertisement Transport Processing Architecture)을 제안한다. "ATPA"는 필터링 기법을 응용하여 고객 지향적인 모바일 광고 시스템으로서 이용자는 자신에게 적합한 광고의 수신하게 하고, 광고주는 이용자의 특성에 따른 차별적인 광고를 제공할 수 있다.

모바일 상의 단문메시지 서비스는 등장한 이례 꾸준히 사용량이 증가하는 추세이며, 현재 세계적으로 가장 많이 사용되는 모바일 서비스이다. 모바일 기기에서 단문 메시지 작성의 불편함을 개선하기 위한 기술로 하드웨어적인 입력 방법 개선과 소프트웨어적인 입력보조 기능이 꾸준히 개발되었다. 소프트웨어적인 방법은 범용성이 넓고 적용이 쉽다는 장점이 있지만 제한된 자원에서 구현상의 어려움이 있어 연구가 미비한 분야이다. 본 논문은 소프트웨어적으로 단문 메시지의 작성을 보조하는 방법을 제시한다. 일상 생활의 반복성에 초점을 맞추어 반복 작성될 메시지에 대해 기존의 메시지를 제시해 자동적으로 응답하도록 하는 방법을 제안한다. 자동적으로 응답 메시지를 선택하기 위한 비교사 학습과 추론 기술로 "메시지 네트워크"를 제안하고, 실험을 통해 고안한 방법의 가능성을 보였다. 실험 결과로부터 반복적인 메시지의 작성에 제시한 방법이 유용함을 알 수 있었다.

최근 모바일 디바이스의 보급률은 83%까지 증가 하였으며 매 분기마다 모바일디바이스 공급자는 새로운 디바이스를 출시하며 교체시기가 점점 짧아지는 추세이다. 사용자의 모바일디바이스의 가장 큰 사용 목적은 다양한 애플리케이션을 사용하는 것이다. 애플리케이션이 사용되어짐과 동시에 사용자 개인의 데이터가 모바일 디바이스에 축척되어 지고 있지만 백업 기능을 제공하는 SMS, 전화번호부 같은 기본 애플리케이션 외에 일반 애플리케이션에 대한 데이터를 보존, 관리 할 수 있는 방법은 많지 않다. 이로 인해 디바이스 교체, 디바이스 분실, 파손 과 같은 상황에서 사용자는 일반 애플리케이션 데이터를 포기 하게 되는 실정이다. 이러한 단점을 보완하고자 사용자 입장에서 일반 애플리케이션의 데이터를 관리할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

This thesis aims to realize an intelligent home service robot that alerts the user to dangerous situations such as fires and gas leaks by utilizing wireless internet platforms in a cellular phone. The intelligent home service robot is composed of the following parts: The robot part consists of a gas sensor, a fire detector, a smoke sensor, ultrasonic sensors, motors, a camera and a Blue-tooth module and perceives various danger circumstances; The middleware part connects the robot part with the mobile part through the middleware applications, monitors the robot and notifies an emergency situation using SMS modules; The mobile part communicates with the middleware using TCP/IP protocol and controls the robot through various commands; The proposed scheme is to control the sensors of the robot part through and Atmega128 processor, and the mobile part was developed based on the WIPI platform. The robot and middleware parts will be installed in the household, and will be controled by mobile part from the outside.

Smart work can classify three types. First, mobile office equipped with a portable computer and connect to the company servers and Intranet via mobile phones. Second, home working using video conference system. Third, smart work center. Smart work has enabled us to work efficiently, to work anytime and to work anywhere, beyond conventional office working. This paper presents development processes of a smart work for After Service Business, especially, for the elevator industry. we called implemented mobile office system "A/S work". A/S work using mobile devices has some advantages as compared with previous system. 1) Before/After photo management function 2) Assessment process of customer satisfaction 3) The work history management app. 4) The inquiry and confirmation function to current status of all workers 5) The group SMS function sending selected workers. 'M' elevator company has used A/S work as efficient smart work system.

유선 인터넷에서 인스턴트 메신저는 간단한 질문/확인, 만남이나 작업 조정, 사회적인 친교 등을 위해 광범위하게 활용되고 있다. 이를 무선으로 확장하기 위하여 MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, 버디버디, 네이트온 등이 모바일용 메신저를 내놓고 있다. 특히 한국 10대의 경우 SMS를 실시간 대화에 가깝게 (짧고 빈번하게) 사용하고 있기 때문에 무선 메신저는 큰 호응이 있으리라 예상하였다. 그러나 네이트온 모바일 메신저의 경우, 2002년 출시된 이후 별다른 인기를 끌지 못하고 있다. 이에 저자들은 네이트온 사용자들의 사용행태를 분석하여 문제점을 파악하고, 일반 SMS 사용자들과 네이트온 사용자들의 무선 커뮤니케이션 사용행태를 1주일간의 Diary Study에 기초한 Contextual Inquiry (Intermittent)를 실시하여 사용률이 저조한 이유를 분석한 뒤, 퍼소나를 구성하여 무선 환경에 맞는 완전히 혁신적인 새로운 형태의 무선 메신저 사용자 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 메신저에 반드시 있는 사용자 등록이나 친구 추가 기능을 없애고 휴대전화 번호 기반으로 동작하며, 상태 정보(Presence)를 없애면서 상대방 상태에 따라 IM 혹은 SMS로 적절히 변환되어 전달되는 것이 주요 특징이다. 이를 사용자들을 통해 다시 검증해 본 결과 사용자들이 무척 쉽게 받아들이는 것을 발견하였다.

Due to wide usage of smartphones and mobile internet, mobile devices are used in various fields such as sending SMS, participating SNS, retrieving information and the number of users taking advantage of them are growing. The keypads of a mobile device are relatively smaller than those of desktop computers. Thus, the user has a difficulty in input sentences quickly and correctly. In this study, we introduce some string recommendation and modification techniques which can be used for helping a user input in mobile devices quickly and correctly. We describe a TRIE dictionary and n-gram language model which are the main technologies of the keyword recommendation applied to the online search engines.

Desktop-based computing environment is changed into mobile computing using smart phone and cloud computing providing common behavior and big data by network. Because of this transformation software development and operating environment is changed into heterogeneous distributed environment. As a result, dynamic service composition or changement is required. However, there is few research of techniques supporting service composition or changement dynamically in this situation. This paper suggests a technique for customizing services dynamically of mobile applications based on android platform. Especially we propose a customization technique of service by applying ontology technique to improve sharing and reuse of service. We applied proposed technique into meeting notification system, and obtain that it can be customized into various services such as email, sms, twitter service, and so on.
