A Study of the Awareness Focusing on the Library 3.0 for the Academic Librarians (도서관 3.0 기반 서비스에 대한 대학도서관 사서의 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzed the level of 326 academic librarians awareness, usability and counter strategies on the Library 3.0. The results revealed the awareness level in the following order: that (1) Mobile Library (2) Semantic Search (3) AI(Artificial Intelligent) (4) Cloud Computing (5) Ontology (6) Linked Data. The order of the future usability for the Library 3.0 was ranked (1) Mobile Library (2) Linked Data (3) Semantic Search (4) Cloud Computing (5) AI and (6) Ontology. To conclude, the level of awareness and the usability of Library 3.0 were shown to be statistically significant. There are, however, some discrepancies in awareness differ across librarians and regions. Moreover, the level of awareness for the Library 3.0 did influence the library's organizational performance but the individual librarian's competences only.

  • This project has been conducted to improve the usability of Chatbot Services such as Google(Allo) and Facebook M(Messenger. Based on the evaluation, this study aims to suggest the solutions to improve the usability of domestic Chatbot services and future directions for their development. It provides the overall understanding of the AI Chatbot service and the feature of Chatbot service through literature search. Furthermore, we summarized the current standing and the prospect of domestic messenger-based assistant Chatbot services. For conducting user evaluation, Peter Morville's honeycomb model is applied to in-depth user interviews. The followings are elements that could be amended to improve the service. The service should be incorporated by intuitive elements for users' understanding its functions and eliminate any elements that interfere with usability. The accuracy should be increased to improve the user satisfaction. This research will provide the future guidelines to improve the usability of Chabot services through continuous evaluation by users.

Attention-Based Heart Rate Estimation using MobilenetV3

  • The advent of deep learning technologies has led to the development of various medical applications, making healthcare services more convenient and effective. Among these applications, heart rate estimation is considered a vital method for assessing an individual's health. Traditional methods, such as photoplethysmography through smart watches, have been widely used but are invasive and require additional hardware. Recent advancements allow for contactless heart rate estimation through facial image analysis, providing a more hygienic and convenient approach. In this paper, we propose a lightweight methodology capable of accurately estimating heart rate in mobile environments, using a specialized 2-channel network structure based on 2D convolution. Our method considers both subtle facial movements and color changes resulting from blood flow and muscle contractions. The approach comprises two major components: an Encoder for analyzing image features and a regression layer for evaluating Blood Volume Pulse. By incorporating both features simultaneously our methodology delivers more accurate results even in computing environments with limited resources. The proposed approach is expected to offer a more efficient way to monitor heart rate without invasive technology, particularly well-suited for mobile devices.

  • 최근 모바일 메신저 챗봇 API를 이용한 서비스 시장이 활성화되고 있다. 챗봇은 대화형 인터페이스 상에서 규칙 또는 AI로 유저와의 인터랙션을 하는 서비스로 지도, 쇼핑, 금융 등의 앱들이 챗봇 안으로 흡수되어 앱이나 웹에 별도로 접속하지 않아도 된다는 이점이 있다. 챗봇에 필요한 자동응답 API는 대표적으로 텔레그램, 페이스북 메신저, 네이버 톡톡, 카카오톡과 같은 메신저 앱에서 구현 가능하다. 아직까지 카카오톡 메신저는 챗봇 구현 환경이 제한적이라는 단점이 있지만, 국내 메신저 사용시간 점유율 94%를 차지하여 유저 접근성이 뛰어나다. 따라서 이 서비스의 타겟층이 주부 및 1인 가구이므로 서비스 범위보다는 접근성을 기준으로 두고 메신저 앱을 카카오톡으로 선택했다. 본 논문은 카카오톡 자동응답 API를 이용한 대화형 서비스를 연구 및 개발하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 이 대화형 서비스는 요리에 관한 전반적인 정보를 제공하며, 서비스 이용자에게 간편한 요리환경을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 다양한 세부 기능을 확장한다면 효율적인 대화형 서비스가 될 것으로 사료된다.

Data Collection Management for Wireless Sensor Networks Using Drones with Wireless Power Transfer

  • To increase the lifetime of the network in wireless sensor networks, energy harvesting from the surrounding environment or wireless power transfer is being used. In addition, to reduce the energy imbalance and increase the amount of data gathered, a method using mobile sink nodes that visit sensor nodes to gather data has been used. In this paper, we propose a technique to reduce the load on the relay node and collect a lot of data evenly in this environment. In the proposed scheme, sensor nodes construct Minimum Depth Trees (MDTs) considering the network environment and energy, and allocate the data collection amount. Simulation results show that the proposed technique effectively suppresses energy depletion and collects more data compared to existing techniques.

  • The prolonged of the Post Corona, many Cosmetic company launched various online services. In this paper, consider about the quality of product recommendation using personal color detecting technology. Using the detecting tool which is most widely used by cosmetic company. we will do a lot of testing with this tool and also testing with color detecting equipment. For precise experimental results, it was conducted in a consistent experimental environment. This experiment can be a foundation that can be well used for the expansion of personalized product recommendation services according to the current image-based skin color measurement.

  • High speed railway system is progressed to SRN(Smart Railway Network) having entirely automation function beyond each componet automations. It is necessity to use mobile communication technology of LTE-R(Long Term Evolution - Railway) and 5G-R(5th Generation - Railway) and information technology of convergence based on AI, Big Data, Deep Learning to construct this smart railway networks. In this paper, a communication structure is suggested for SRN. This suggested communication structure for SRN is composed to include safety operation of high speed train, railway system management and customer services, and also have complexing function of these each functions. Results of this study can be used for SRN construction and opeation, and development of railway communication standards.

  • 스카이라인 질의는 객체의 속성을 기준으로 사용자의 선호에 적합한 대상을 탐색하는 기법이다. 기존 스카이라인 질의는 일괄처리 방식으로 탐색 결과를 반환하지만 대화형 앱이나 모바일 환경과 같이 잦은 위치이동 발생 시 일괄처리 방식으로 스카이라인 질의 결과를 신속하게 받기 어렵다. 최근접 이웃(Nearest Neighbor) 알고리즘은 사용자와 상호 작용이 필요한 대화형 앱에서 실시간으로 선호 객체를 탐색하여 사용자에게 전달함으로써 객체의 반환 속도를 향상시켰다. 그러나 최근접 이웃 알고리즘은 객체 탐색 과정에서 반복적인 비교 연산을 수행하여 불필요한 탐색 시간이 소요된다. 본 논문은 대화형 앱에서 신속한 스카이라인 결과를 산출하고자 연산 대상 객체의 범위를 축소함으로써 최근접 이웃 스카이라인 질의 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시킨 전처리 기법을 제안한다. 데이터 객체는 최대 40,000 개의 실험에서 제안 기법은 최근접 이웃 알고리즘보다 50% 빠른 성능을 나타내어 본 연구의 가용성이 증명되었다.

Pose estimation-based 3D model motion control using low-performance devices (저성능 디바이스를 이용한 자세추정 기반 3D 모델 움직임 제어)

  • 본 논문에서는 저성능 컴퓨터나 스마트폰의 카메라를 통해 입력받은 영상을 기반으로 사용자의 포즈를 추정하고, 실시간으로 사용자의 포즈에 따라 3D 모델의 모션이 제어되어 가시화 될 수 있는 클라이어트-서버 구조의 "자세추정 및 3D 모델 모션 제어 시스템"을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 소켓통신 기반의 클라이언트-서버구조로 구성되어, 서버에서는 실시간 자세 추정을 위한 딥러닝 모델이 수행되고, 저성능 클라이언트에서는 실시간으로 카메라 영상을 획득하여 영상을 서버에 전송하고, 서버로부터 자세 추정 정보를 받아 이를 3D 모델에 반영하고 렌더링 함으로써 사용자와 함께 3D 모델이 같은 동작을 수행하는 증강현실 화면을 생성한다. 고성능을 요구하는 객체 자세 추정 모듈은 서버에서 실행하고, 클라이언트에서는 영상 획득 및 렌더링만을 실행하기 때문에, 모바일 앱에서의 실시간 증강현실을 위한 자세 추정 및 3D 모델 모션 제어가 가능하다. 제안 시스템은 "증강현실 기반 영상 찍기 앱" 에 반영되어 사용자의 움직임을 따라하는 3D 캐릭터들의 영상을 쉽게 생성할 수 있도록 할 수 있다.

AI Chatbot Users' Satisfaction and Intention for Continued Use : Moderating Effects of Chatbot Type and Motivations (AI 챗봇 타입과 이용동기에 따른 사용만족도 및 지속사용의도 :자기결정이론을 중심으로)

  • With a recent rise of various chatbot services, this study attempts to explore the role of chatbot users'' psychological characteristics by applying the self-determination theory. In particular,this study investigates (a) the relationship between chatbot users' psychological needs(perceived autonomy, perceived competence, perceived relatedness) and user satisfaction, continuous intention to use, and (b) the moderating effect of chatbot type and user motivations. Based upon a survey, the results revealed that perceived autonomy, competence, and relatedness had significant positive effects on user satisfaction and continuous intention to use. The results also confirmed that the user satisfaction had a significant positive effect on the continuous intention to use. The moderating effect of social and relational motivation was found between perceived autonomy, competence, relatedness and user satisfaction. The implications are discussed for furthering the development of chatbot services.
