A Study on the Characteristics Assessment and Fabrication of Distribution Board according to KEMC Standards (KEMC 규정에 의한 분전반의 제작 및 특성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • This study fabricated a low-voltage 10 circuit distribution board based on the KEMC (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Cooperative) 2102-610 standard and performed a characteristics assessment of the developed 10 circuit distribution board to secure product stability. The developed 10 circuit distribution board is designed to have the characteristics of insulation materials, as well as resistance to corrosion ultraviolet radiation and mechanical impact. The developed distribution board is fabricated to have an appropriate protection class of enclosure, electric shock prevention and protection circuits, switchgear and its components, internal electrical circuits and connectors, external conduct terminal, insulation characteristics, temperature rise test, heat resistance, etc. The developed 10 circuit distribution board consists of a single phase circuit and 3-phase circuits. It is possible to measure in real time the leakage current generated from the load distribution line by installing a sensor module at the load side of each of the branched switchgears. In addition, it is possible to increase a circuit according to the use and purpose of the load and to also manage and check the load in real time. Temperature rise tests were performed on the developed 10 circuit distribution board at 18 places including the inlet connection, main circuit and distribution circuit bus bars and bus bar supports, etc. The highest temperature of $65.3^{\circ}C$ was measured at the R-Phase of the connection of the MCCB power supply for the branch circuit bus bar and a temperature rise of $61.6^{\circ}C$ was measured at the T-Phase of the load side. When applying thermal stress to an MCCB for 6 hours at $180^{\circ}C$ using a heat resistant experimental device, it was found that the actuator lever was transformed and moved in the tripped state.

A research on improving client based detection feature by using server log analysis in FPS games (FPS 게임 서버 로그 분석을 통한 클라이언트 단 치팅 탐지 기능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Cheating detection models in the online games can be divided into two parts. The one is on client based model, which is designed to detect malicious programs not to be run while playing the games. The other one is server based model, which distinguishes the difference between benign users and cheaters by the server log analysis. The client based model provides various features to prevent games from cheating, For instance, Anti-reversing, memory manipulation and so on. However, being deployed and operated on the client side is a huge weak point as cheaters can analyze and bypass the detection features. That Is why the server based model is an emerging way to detect cheating users in online games. But the simple log data such as FPS's one can be hard to find validate difference between two of them. In this paper, In order to compensate for the disadvantages of the two detection model above, We use the existing game security solution log as well as the server one to bring high performance as well as detection ratio compared to the existing detection models in the market.

A Study on Real-Time Sports Activity Classification & Monitoring Using a Tri-axial Accelerometer (가속도 센서를 이용한 실시간 스포츠 동작 분류.모니터링에 관한 연구)

This study was conducted to study the real-time sports activity classification and monitoring using single waist mounted tri-axial accelerometer. This monitoring system detects events of sports activities such as walking, running, cycling, transitions between movements, resting and emergency event of falls. Accelerometer module was developed small and easily attachable on waist using wireless communication system which does not constrain sports activities. The sensor signal was transferred to PC and each movement pattern was classified using the developed algorithm in real-time environment. To evaluate proposed algorithm, experiment was performed with several sports activities such as walking, running, cycling movement for 100sec each and falls, transition movements(sit to stand, lie to stand, stand to sit, lie to sit, stand to lie and sit to lie) for 20 times each with 5 healthy subjects. The results showed that successful detection rate of the system for all activities was 95.4%. In this study, through sports activity monitoring. it was possible to classify accurate sports activities and to notify emergency event such as falls. For further study, the accurate energy consumption algorithm for each sports activity is under development.

XSLT Stylesheet Design for Building Web Presentation Layer (웹 프리젠테이션 레이어 생성을 위한 XSLT 스타일쉬트 설계)

  • In the Web-based information systems, separating the business process logic from the data and presentation logic brings about a wide range of advantages. However, this separation is not easily achieved; even the data logic may be not separated from the presentation layer. So, it requires to define an model for business processes, and then to map the model into the user's dynamic interface using the logic separating strategy. This paper presents a stylesheet method to recognize the process by extending XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations), in order to achieve the logic separation. To do this, it provides an specification of the business process, and a scheme that extracts business model factors and their interactions using a Petri-net notation to show the business model into the process point of view. This is an attempt to separate users' interaction from the business process, that is, dynamic components of interaction Web document from the process structure of Web applications. Our architecture consist mainly of an XSLT controller that is extended by a process control component. The XSLT controller is responsible for receiving the user requests and searching the relevant templet rule related to different user requests one by one. Separation of concerns facilities the development of service-oriented Web sites by making if modular. As a result, the development of service-oriented Web sites would be very easy, and can be changed without affecting the other modules, by virtue of the modularization concept. So, it is easy to develop and maintain the Web applications in independent manner.

  • According to the increasing of the internet infrastructure and growth of contents technology, the users can access an education service at anytime and anywhere. In a field of English education, especially, internet technology has enabled learners to communicate with their teachers and multimedia contents technology has been able to provide learner not only lots of interests, but also good effect on English learning. In this paper, we propose a method diagnosing learner's level by using some question-items, which consist of item's type and item's function. Futhermore, the proposed system can support three devices which are PC, PDA, and Mobile Phone on wired and wireless internet communication environments. Also, the system provides multimedia contents including flash movies, image, and audio contents. We have applied the system into real classroom, and we verified that the question-items that system provides has no problem, and our method could improve each learner skill on English education. Therefore, we expect that learner who uses the proposed system will get level-based English learning service at anytime and anywhere.

Shear Strength of Prestressed PC-CIP Composite Beams with Vertical Shear Reinforcement (전단 철근 보강된 프리스트레스 PC와 CIP 합성보의 전단강도)

  • Recently, the use of composite construction method using precast (PC) and cast-in-place (CIP) concrete is increased in modular construction. For PC members, pre-tensioning is used to improve efficiency of the structural performance. However, current design codes do not clearly define shear strength of prestressed PC-CIP composite members. In this study, 22 specimens were tested to evaluate shear strength of prestressed composite members with vertical shear reinforcement. The test variables were the area ratio of high-strength (60 MPa) to low-strength concrete (24 MPa), prestressing force of strands, shear span-to-depth ratio(a/d), and vertical shear reinforcement ratio. The test results showed the prestressing force did not completely restrain diagonal cracking of non-prestressed concrete in the web. Thus, the effect of prestress force was not insignificant in the effect for monolithic beams. The vertical shear strength and horizontal shear strength of the composite beams were compared with the strength predictions of KCI design method.

Development and Performance Compensation of the Extremely Stable Transceiver System for High Resolution Wideband Active Phased Array Synthetic Aperture Radar (고해상도 능동 위상 배열 영상 레이더를 위한 고안정 송수신 시스템 개발 및 성능 보정 연구)

  • In this paper, X-band transceiver for high resolution wideband SAR systems is designed and fabricated. Also as a technique for enhancing the performance, error compensation algorithm is presented. The transceiver for SAR system is composed of transmitter, receiver, switch matrix and frequency generator. The receiver especially has 2 channel mono-pulse structure for ground moving target indication. The transceiver is able to provide the deramping signal for high resolution mode and select the receive bandwidth for receiving according to the operation mode. The transceiver had over 300 MHz bandwidth in X-band and 13.3 dBm output power which is appropriate to drive the T/R module. The receiver gain and noise figure was 39 dB and 3.96 dB respectively. The receive dynamic range was 30 dB and amplitude imbalance and phase imbalance of I/Q channel was ${\pm}$0.38 dBm and ${\pm}$3.47 degree respectively. The transceiver meets the required electrical performances through the individual tests. This paper shows the pulse error term depending on SAR performance was analyzed and range IRF was enhanced by applying the compensation technique.

Development of Social Network Game Engine based on ActionScript (액션 스크립트 기반의 소셜 네트워크 게임엔진의 개발)

  • As the social networking service (SNS), Facebook, and Cyworld, is developing, the social network game and social business commerce based on this service is activated. Especially, the Social Network Game (SNG) is getting explosive interests and it becomes popular, because it is small scale and user can enjoy the game among close friends. The market for this game is getting larger every year, but still it has some limitations in developing the game. Especially, the current game engine is aiming for developing online or console game, and there is no exclusive game engine for developing SNG. Therefore, it takes lots of time for developing SNG with this game engine. In this paper, we described a design and development of the game engine optimized for developing SNG, which not only adapts the main characteristics of the previous game engine, but also considers the specific characteristics of the SNG. The engine also supports map for the simulation game that is the most popular game in SNG, and also provides modules and tools for developing character animation easily. The evaluation standard for the performance of the game engine is the output generation speed of image, text and character. And the results showed reasonable output speed for developing the SNG in generation of image, text, and character.

Design of DOI Detector Module for PET through the Light Spread Distribution (빛 분포를 통한 양전자방출단층촬영기기의 반응 깊이 측정 검출기 모듈 개발)

  • A depth of interaction(DOI) detector module using a block scintillator and a pixellated scintillator was designed, and layer discrimination ability was calculated using DETECT2000. The block scintillator was used to improve the sensitivity and the spatial resolution was improved by measuring the DOI. The DOI was measured by analyzing the signal characteristics of each channel of the changed distribution of light. The detector module was composed to the block scintillator in the top layer and the pixellated scintillator in the bottom layer, which changes the distribution of light generated from a scintillator interacting with a gamma ray. In the flood image, the top layer was able to acquire the image at the position similar to the position of the bottom layer because the bottom layer consist of the pixellated scintillator. By using the Anger algorithm, the 16 channel signal was reduced to 4 channels to facilitate the analysis of the signal characteristics. The layer discrimination was measured using a simple algorithm and the accuracy was about 84% for each layer. When this detector module is used in preclinical PET, the spatial resolution at the outside of the field of view can be improved by measuring the DOI.

The Design and Implementation of High Performance Intrusion Prevention Algorithm based on Signature Hashing (시그너처 해싱 기반 고성능 침입방지 알고리즘 설계 및 구현)

  • IPS(Intrusion Prevention Systems), which is installed in inline mode in a network, protects network from outside attacks by inspecting the incoming/outgoing packets and sessions, and dropping the packet or closing the sessions if an attack is detected in the packet. In the signature based filtering, the payload of a packet passing through IPS is matched with some attack patterns called signatures and dropped if matched. As the number of signatures increases, the time required for the pattern matching for a packet increases accordingly so that it becomes difficult to develop a high performance US working without packet delay. In this paper, we propose a high performance IPS based on signature hashing to make the pattern matching time independent of the number of signatures. We implemented the proposed scheme in a Linux kernel module in a PC and tested it using worm generator, packet generator and network performance measure instrument called smart bit. Experimental results show that the performance of existing method is degraded as the number of signatures increases whereas the performance of the proposed scheme is not degraded.
