The objective of this study was to criticize the model house of apartment and suggest a evaluation model which could be used as an effective tool. The evaluation model had been developed based on the theoretical framework suggested by previous results of research related on housing design, which comprised the following four components : 1) the paradigm of future home and life-style, 2) marketing effects of housing developer, 3) goals and principles of housing design and 4) results of user-preferences study, an evaluation model was suggested as a preliminary form which would be modified in detail after series of tests in the field. The evaluation model will be used to provide standardized criteria for the quality of model houses, and eventually help to improve the quality of apartment housing design by balanced information from theorist, user and developer.

The purpose of this study is to actualize the unit planning space. First, to understand various needs about residential space of apartments inhabitants. It is necessary for us to understand exactly what differences of residential needs and how different they are with todays's viewpoint because different residential life should be developed according to family structure, age and personality. Second, to suggest plan type as many as possible to reflect and accept various residential needs of inhabitants. The main bed room is normal used for the space of husband and wife, it is necessary to consider the room to be free from the main living room, to introduce variety in the area division or location of rooms an to mark kitchen and dining room as family room or pieasure room besides as a working space

This paper aims to analyze ecological characteristics of interior design, selecting as the subjects Busan-based construction companies which have a model house, among those that distribute apartments in Busan as of August 2006. Primarily, literature research Is conducted to understand recent trends of interior design for apartment building, present situations and characteristics of ecological design, and prepare environmentally-friendly guidelines and check-list items on the basis of domestic and overseas cases. Collected data in turn is analyzed to assess ecological characteristics of apartment building design in Korea today and present problems and directions for the future.

Through the computer simulation of virtual reality techniques, prospective clients can experience the surroundings such as the view, traffic and convenience facilities in advance. Also, consumers can reflect their own tastes in the real apartment Interior construction through their own work in relation to furniture arrangement, color choices, etc. inside the apartments. The virtual model house not only replaces the function of the existing model house but it can also provide some services that could not be provided easily due to some restrictions under real conditions. More, it can provide a precise view of the outside appearance and surrounding environment as well as inside the house, as virtual structures on the computer. Consumers can search for the information through the Web in advance and consumer-satisfaction type of apartments can be built. For this purpose, smooth communications among the designers, server managers, and consumers should be achieved as a prerequisite to the delivery of the necessary information.

The focus of this study was on spatial and interior characterization of recently developed and marketed apartments. The house showrooms in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas that have recently been open were selected and analyzed. The floor plans and relevant materials via website for each showroom provided by major housing development companies were examined, and site visits were made. The finding of this study indicated that high-tech systems were applied to heighten security and safety. It was revealed that various exterior design features were adopted and emphasized, so they affected spatial composition and utilization. Another finding was the use of environmentally friendly materials and features as indoor air quality became an emerging concern. Additionally, it was noticed that features in relation to open housing and interior finishes became more customized to meet different needs of consumers. Therefore, the characteristics of recent house showrooms were summarized into high-tech, environmental friendliness, and customization.

부동산 중개소에서 일반인이 자신이 원하는 집을 찾을 때 부동산 중개인 검색대상인 집의 도면을 구매자에게 보여준다. 그러나 일반인은 도면을 보더라도 집의 형태를 명확하기 파악하기 어려운 문제가 있다. 또한 이 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 가상현실 기기를 이용한 모델하우스 시스템을 개발한다. 개발한 시스템은 안드로이드 스마트기기를 사용하여 2D도면을 3D입체 도면으로 보여준다. 그리고 컨트롤러를 이용하여 사용자가 이동하게 함으로서 자신이 원하는 지점을 상세히 살펴볼 수 있게 한다.

2007년 4월 이전까지 10~15년 동안 규격시설로 운영되어 오던 농가지도형 단동하우스에서의 보강지주 설치효과를 분석하였다. 이전의 연구로 적설하중에 대한 수식 계산을 통해 보강지주 설치 단동하우스의 추가적설심이 제시된 바 있으나 모델이 농가지도형 단동하우스 규격과 상이해 연구 결과를 농가지도형 단동하우스에 그대로 적용하기에 무리가 따랐다. 본 연구에서는 농가지도형 단동하우스를 3차원 강뼈대 구조물로 모델링 하여 보강지주 설치 효과를 분석하였으며 재하시험을 통해 해석결과를 검증하였다. 구조해석 결과, 단동하우스에 보강지주 설치 시 안전적설심은 오히려 줄어드는 것으로 나타났는데 파이프 체결 부에서의 집중 하중으로 지붕도리에 큰 응력이 걸리기 때문으로 보강지주 설치 시에는 지붕도리의 규격도 함께 강화되어야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 지붕도리를 강화하고 보강지주를 3~4m 간격으로 설치할 경우, 안전적설심은 기본모델에서 보다 2배 이상 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 보강지주 규격별 농가지도형 단동하우스 5종의 안전적설심을 제시하였다.

기존 공학교육 모델은 기업들로부터 만족을 얻지못하고 있다. 본 논문은 이를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 공학교육모델, 엔지니어링 하우스 교육모델을 제안하고 있다. 엔지니어링 하우스는 3개의 공간으로 구성되어 있다. 세 가지는 교육, 연구, 기업지원공간 등이다. 무엇보다도 교육공간이 가장 중요하다. 우리는 이 공간을 기반으로 학부생에게 실용기술을 교육하고자 하였다. 특히 기업의 전문가가 학부교육에 참여하게 된다. 학부교육에 참여하는 기업들은 연구도 공동으로 진행하게 되는데, EH를 공동으로 관리하는 $2{\sim}3$명의 교수와 산학협력하게 된다. 이 과정은 학생, 교수, 기업인 모두가 공동으로 참여하게 된다는 것이다. 그리고 EH내 모든 시설은 기업인에 개방되어 있고, 학생들도 기업과의 협력 중에 이들 장비 사용법을 배우게 되고 취업으로도 연계되는 장점도 있다. 즉 EH는 산학협력 기반위에 교육과 취업이 연계되는 모델인 것이다. 새로운 교육모델은 산학협력에 기반을 두고 학부생을 기업맞춤형으로 교육할 수 있는 좋은 프로그램이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
