  • Productivity is important to evaluate an efficiency of performed work and organization in construction industry. The productivity should be defined as activity level rather than macro level in order to effectively use productivity data and manage a project. The primary objective of this study is to develop a construction productivity management system using data warehouse, OLAP and data mining technologies which enables to easily accumulate the construction productivity data and perform multi layer analysis. Finally, it is anticipated that the effective use of the developed system would be able to measure the result of project and make a plan of the similar project with reliability.

Experimental Studies on the Structural Safety of Pipe-Houses (파이프하우스의 구조안전에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This study was carried out to make fundamental data for structural safety test of pipe- houses. Experiment on the stress distribution of pipe- houses was conducted to find suitable structural analysis model by examination of end support conditions of pipe. Besides, the loading test and the pile driving test were done to find pull-out capacity and bearing capacity of pipe on the assumption that pipe is pile foundation. For single span pipe - house, the theoretical results assuming the end support condition of pipe is fixed under ground agreed closely with the experimental results of stress distribution. On the other hand for double span pipe -house, the end support conditions of pipe were fixed support when vertical load is applied, and hinged one when horizontal load is applied. The pull - out capacity and allowable bearing capacity of the pipe portion that was buried in the grounds that were soft soil of paddy field and medium or hard soils of dry field derived from experimental results.

Object Detection-Based Cloud System: Efficient Disease Monitoring with Database (객체 검출 기반 클라우드 시스템 : 데이터베이스를 통한 효율적인 병해 모니터링)

  • The decline in the rural populace and an aging workforce have led to fatalities due to worsening environments and hazards within vinyl greenhouses. Therefore, it is necessary to automate crop cultivation and disease detection system in greenhouses to prevent labor loss. In this paper, an object detection-based model is used to detect diseased crop in greenhouses. In addition, the system proposed configures the environment of the artificial intelligence model in the cloud to ensure stability. The system captures images taken inside the vinyl greenhouse and stores them in a database, and then downloads the images to the cloud to perform inference based on Yolo-v4 for detection, generating JSON files for the results. Analyze this file and send it to the database for storage. From the experimental results, it was confirmed that disease detection through object detection showed high performance in real environments like vinyl greenhouses. It was also verified that efficient monitoring is possible through the database

Detecting Greenhouses from the Planetscope Satellite Imagery Using the YOLO Algorithm (YOLO 알고리즘을 활용한 Planetscope 위성영상 기반 비닐하우스 탐지)

  • Detecting greenhouses from the remote sensing datasets is useful in identifying the illegal agricultural facilities and predicting the agricultural output of the greenhouses. This research proposed a methodology for automatically detecting greenhouses from a given Planetscope satellite imagery acquired in the areas of Gimje City using the deep learning technique through a series of steps. First, multiple training images with a fixed size that contain the greenhouse features were generated from the five training Planetscope satellite imagery. Next, the YOLO(You Only Look Once) model was trained using the generated training images. Finally, the greenhouse features were detected from the input Planetscope satellite image. Statistical results showed that the 76.4% of the greenhouse features were detected from the input Planetscope satellite imagery by using the trained YOLO model. In future research, the high-resolution satellite imagery with a spatial resolution less than 1m should be used to detect more greenhouse features.

  • This study suggest the development and application of the Interactive Design Toolkit as a participatory design method for general customer with the application of the Augmented Reality. The Toolkit is based on a PC-based image perception system and user can make virtual models and navigate in the virtual space by manipulating physical objects directly in real world. The toolkit can be used in the field of participatory design in systematically modularized and customizable design area including model house of apartment and system kitchen furniture. More improved design toolkit for enhancing reality and providing various Interaction method Is needed hereafter.

  • 데이터웨어하우스내에서 실체뷰는 소스 데이터에서 갱신이 발생하였을 경우 질의에 정확한 결과를 제공하기 위하여 릴레이션의 변경사항과 동일하게 갱신되어야 한다. 이 뷰를 갱신할 때 전체 릴레이션이 아닌 갱신된 부분만 이용하여 점진적으로 뷰를 관리하는 것이 효과적이다. 뷰의 점진적인 갱신 방법중에서 부가화일을 이용한 방법은 부가적으로 유지하는 정보의 양이 적고 뷰 관리 비용이 적게 든다는 장점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 이 방법에 의해 뷰를 관리할 때의성능을 평가하기 위하여 이 방법의 비용 모델을 분석적으로 제시하였으며, 이 모델을 기반으로 성능을 비교, 분석하여 부가 파일을 이용한 방법이 다른 기존의 방법보다 성능이 우수함을 보였다.

  • In this study, we would like to suggest a virtual model house where the users participate in the planning of the apartment directly in order to supply the apartment which is suitable for the fast change of the resident's characterization, multiplication, and preference in this like high-speed information society. The users have various preferences and demands in the high level information society. It is necessary for the architect to communicate with the users in order to suggest the various styles of habitats that one can treat various life style and life cycle which reflects the demand. In addition, the object of this paper is the construction and using of the participating virtual model house that the resident can plan the preferred space design of the main house before moving Into the apartment and change space design of the main house after moving into the apartment following the variety of life style and the changing of life cycle. Regarding the effect of this study, firstly, it is possible to supply the plate type following the user's preference in order to enhance the quality of uniformed type apartment. Secondly, it is possible to maintain and control the high quality building using sharing the building information with planning, construction, maintain, interior, and related company by constructing the database. Thirdly, the unified database which is constructed by XML can supply the effective environment of apartment information exchange between other companies.

  • Because of the increasing necessity on sharing economy, numerous number of commercial platform based on sharing has been on the rise: car sharing, bike sharing, house sharing, book sharing, etc. And most of all, share house which aimed at dwelling problem, showed the greatest growth than the other economic models. But during the growth period, unforeseen problems also revealed its traces; the vacancy and reliability problem on the mutual platform. However, there is no way to resolve this situation now. Due to this reason, we will offer some keys to unlock existing problems on current share house platform here.
