Development of Rain Shelter for Chinese Cabbage Rainproof Cultivation (배추재배용 비가림하우스 개발)

  • This study was carried out to develop rain shelter which can make an appropriate size and environment for Chinese cabbage rainproof cultivation. Fifty three farms with chinese cabbage rainproof cultivation system have been investigated to set up width and height of rain shelter. Mostly the width of 6m was desired for rain shelter and the height of 1.6m for their eaves, so these values were chosen as the dimensions for rain shelter. After an analysis of their structural safety and installation costs by the specifications of the rafter pipe, Ø$25.4{\times}1.5t$ and 90cm have been set as the size of rafter that such size costs the least. This size is stable with $27m{\cdot}s^{-1}$ of wind velocity and 17cm of snow depth. Therefore it is difficult to apply this dimension to area with higher climate load. In order to sort out such problem, the rain shelter has been designed to avoid damage on frame by opening plastic film to the ridge. Once greenhouse band is loosen by turning the manual switch at the both sides of rain shelter and open button of controller is pushed then switch motor rises up along the guide pipe and plastic film is opened to the ridge. Chinese cabbage can be damaged by insects if rain shelter is opened completely as revealed a field. To prevent this, farmers can install an insect-proof net. Further, the greenhouse can be damaged by typhoon while growing Chinese cabbage therefore the effect of an insect-proof net on structural safety has been analyzed. And then structural safety has been analyzed through using flow-structure interaction method at the wind condition of $40m{\cdot}s^{-1}$. And it assumed that wind applied perpendicular to side of the rain shelter which was covered by insect-proof net. The results indicated that plastic film was directly affected by wind therefore high pressure occurred on the surface. But wind load on insect-proof net was smaller than on plastic film and pressure distribution was also uniform. The results of structural analysis by applying pressure data extracted from flow analysis indicated that the maximum stress occurred at the end of pipe which is the ground part and the value has been 54.6MPa. The allowable stress of pipe in the standard of structural safety must be 215 MPa or more therefore structural safety of this rain shelter is satisfied.

Web Information Extraction and Multidimensional Analysis Using XML (XML을 이용한 웹 정보 추출 및 다차원 분석)

  • For analyzing a huge amount of web pages available in the Internet, we need to extract the encoded information in web pages. In this paper, we propose a method to extract and convert web information from web pages into XML documents for multidimensional analysis. For extracting information from web pages, we propose two languages: one for describing web information extraction rules based on the object-oriented model, and another for describing regular expressions of HTML tag patterns to search for target information. For multidimensional analysis on XML documents, we propose a method for constructing an XML warehouse and various XML cubes from it like the way we do for relational data. Finally, we show the validness of our method through the application to US patent web pages.

A Study on the User's Evaluation for the Visual Types of Virtual Model House (가상모델하우스의 유형에 따른 사용자 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In Korea, the construction company has provided houses through apartment sales system. Residents have obtained a variety of information about their future house by visiting a sample house called "the model house" before they purchase home. Advanced technology such as web-based VOD or Virtual Model in recent years has gradually replaced those built environment. In 2009, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs announced the restraint to the construction of sample houses. Instead, they highly recommended a Virtual Model House as an alternative solution. This study aimed to propose how to design the user-oriented virtual model house through the experiment and survey research. The 3D virtual model house of 85m$^2$ apartment was built and presented by two types (Type A: Bird's Eye View, Type B: Walk through View) on the web page. The subjects evaluated presence, spatial perception and cognition, and usability of each type after exploring them. The results are as follows. (1) The subjects' evaluation of presence showed Type B has more negative effects than Type A such as feeling dizzy or tired even if their values were not so high. (2) The subjects perceived and cognized both types of virtual model house more realistic for the expression of volume of space, the size of opening, and the arrangement of furniture than that of wall finishes and materials. (3) The usability of Type A was significantly higher than that of Type B.

Detection of Plastic Greenhouses by Using Deep Learning Model for Aerial Orthoimages (딥러닝 모델을 이용한 항공정사영상의 비닐하우스 탐지)

  • The remotely sensed data, such as satellite imagery and aerial photos, can be used to extract and detect some objects in the image through image interpretation and processing techniques. Significantly, the possibility for utilizing digital map updating and land monitoring has been increased through automatic object detection since spatial resolution of remotely sensed data has improved and technologies about deep learning have been developed. In this paper, we tried to extract plastic greenhouses into aerial orthophotos by using fully convolutional densely connected convolutional network (FC-DenseNet), one of the representative deep learning models for semantic segmentation. Then, a quantitative analysis of extraction results had performed. Using the farm map of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairsin Korea, training data was generated by labeling plastic greenhouses into Damyang and Miryang areas. And then, FC-DenseNet was trained through a training dataset. To apply the deep learning model in the remotely sensed imagery, instance norm, which can maintain the spectral characteristics of bands, was used as normalization. In addition, optimal weights for each band were determined by adding attention modules in the deep learning model. In the experiments, it was found that a deep learning model can extract plastic greenhouses. These results can be applied to digital map updating of Farm-map and landcover maps.

고리 2호기 노심분석 모형 및 통계적 열설계 방법론 적용성 평가

  • 국내 WH 형 발전소의 노심 DNB 분석에 사용되고 있는 THINC-W 코드에 대한 이해와 분석체제에 대한 개선의 일환으로 고리 2호기를 대상으로 하여 노심 분석모형에 대한 민감도 조사 및 이에 따른 설계 한계 DNBR의 변화를 각 열설계 방법론에 대하여 평가하였다. 적용된 열설계 방법론은 웨스팅하우스사의 STDP, ITDP. RTDP, 그리고 Mini-RTDP 등이며, 노심분석 모형은 경계면에서의 대칭을 가정하고 있는 기존모델(Old Model)과 개선된 모델(Improved Model)을 비교분석 하였다. 평가결과 두 분석모형은 부수로내 질량유속 거동과 통계적 열설계 방법론의 설계한계 DNBR에서 유사한 결과를 보여주었으며, 고출력 영역에서는 개선된 분석모형의 적용이 보다 타당한 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 운전영역 전반에 걸친 제한적 조건에 대한 민감도 분석을 수행할 경우, 원자로 출력증강이나 첨두치의 증가, 운전전략의 변경등으로 발생할 수 있는 여러가지 불리한 조건에 대하여 열적 여유도를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Study of Korean Traditional Housing Design Characteristics Reflected in Apartment Model Houses in Busan (아파트 모델하우스에 나타난 한국 전통주거의 디자인 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the Korean traditional housing design characteristics in apartment model houses. 37 floor plans of apartment model houses in Busan were collected and analyzed. Also, 31 design element check-lists were checked through the field study in apartment model houses. The results were as follows: 1) Korean traditional housing design characteristics in aspects of space organization, such as harmony with nature, hierarchy, focal space, flexibility, were founded in apartment houses. 2) Korean traditional housing design characteristics in aspects of scale, material, color, and motif were mostly founded in the master bedroom and the living room in apartment house. 3) Also, the larger the size of apartment houses were, the more Korean traditional housing design characteristics were founded.

  • Sustainable interior design elements are related with human health. We know that a demand for environmental-friendly housing and all about the others demanding are for human health. We have to make up basement of natural environment for sustainable space composition. If natural environment is polluted that surrounded by human, we have to effort to revive without any pollution. We have to get accomplished stability, comfortable, security, convenience and organize interior design elements for sustainable space to enhance for the quality of life. Furthermore, it needs to get a respect lifestyle on personal. To study composing of the sustainable interior design, we arranged interior design elements to compose sustainable space of housing. We investigated how to compose energy-efficiency, sustainable, interior tree-planting, alterable of the space.

  • This study attempts to analyze the characteristics of interior design of the apartments in Busan that people will reside since 2001 and to find out the effects of minimalism in the interior space. The companies which are in construction of the apartments of more than 50 Pyung were selected, and the design of the living rooms of their model houses were analyzed in terms of the floor plans, architectural elements, furniture and lightings. The results reveals that the living rooms of the newly-distributed apartments in Busan show similar design characteristics without distinctive differences among the companies. The new trends provide a flexible wall which makes it possible to manipulate the number of rooms according to the family preference, art-wall design in one-side of the walls and a coffered ceiling design, which can be interpreted to be closely related to the concept of minimalism with expression of simple horizontal and vertical lines, exclusive use of decorative forms, colors and materials, and use of natural materials

  • Housing market in korea has changed from seller's market to buyer's market since mid of 1990. The housing contractors also changed their conventional ideas and strategies of design of housing facilities in order to survive in the housing industry, They look for ways and means to better respond to client's needs and to better serve user's values. Recently customer relationship management(CRM) technique has been introduced in the housing business. CRM gives emphasis on ongoing relationship with customers. Housing cultural center is a place where customers and contractors can exchange informations. This study aims to extract design and operation issues of housing cultural center.

  • We studied a model house system on cyberspace using JAVA and VRML in this paper. In the system, users can not only browse the model house using a web browser but also choose options that they want to install in the final house and the chosen options are combined with the figure of the model house on the terminal window in real time. In addition, the information of the chosen options are transferred to a database on a server machine at the construction company and the company can use the information for the customer management. The developed system can be used by a simple EC system since it includes duplex information paths.
