The messages on mobile terminal may contain context information such as user's location, time and preference. This paper proposes message forwarding system based on user's context. The server stores the predefined target addresses which may be mobile phone number, web server address and email address. On request for message transmission, the server tries to find a target address matching a user's context. Thus, a sender transmits messages to a representative address without knowing various receiver's addresses and a receiver can retrieve classified messages according to subject/location.

This paper proposes the preservation method that can effectively process short messages at mobilePOST SMSC(Short Message Service Center) platform on CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access). There are three techniques for the preservation method. First one is shared memory technique where several processes within the system share same memory to process transmission of short messages with maximum performance. Second one is to back-up messages in shared memory to the file system to prevent lost during system initialization or other unstable period. Third technique is that when transmission of short message was completed, finished message is moved from the shared memory to relational database for accounting purposes.

T-DMB는 대한민국이 개발한 디지털 이동 멀티미디어 방송으로 무료서비스를 기본으로 하고 있다. 이러한 T-DMB를 유료화하여 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 제한 수신 시스템의 도입이 필요하다. 제한 수신 시스템은 가입자들에게 방송서비스 채널을 이용하여 제한 수신 메시지를 보냄으로써 유, 무료 가입자를 구별한다. 제한수신 메시지를 전송해야하는 가입자들이 늘어날수록 제한수신 메시지는 늘어나게 되고 제한수신 메시지를 전송하기 위한 대역폭 또한 늘어나게 된다. 하지만 T-DMB의 전송 대역폭은 1.152Mpbs로 제한적이고, 방송 데이터 뿐 아니라 제한수신을 위한 제한 수신 메시지도 전송해야 한다. 가입자 증가에 따라 증가하는 제한수신 메시지는 방송 서비스에 영향을 미칠 수밖에 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 제한수신 메시지를 따로 분리하여 전송하는 외부망 연동을 통한 제한 수신 메시지 전송 방법을 제안하며 제한 수신 시스템과 연동하는 방법을 설계하였다.

This paper proposes the design of protocol management system for aggregationg messages based on certification between vehicles which not only prevents the messages between vehicles from being forged and altered by Sybil attack by authenticating the them, and but also provides the efficient communication by aggregating the redundant vehicle messages which frequently happens when communicating. For this, the proposed system proposes the SKLC(Session Key Local Certificate) design which is a local certificate based on a session key, and the MAP(Message Aggregation Protocol) design which aggregates the redundant vehicle messages. Therefore, when the proposed system checks the certificate of vehicle, it provides the reliable information securely by verifying the integrity of vehicle with a hash function operation, and improves communication efficiency by reducing the processing time.

인터넷환경에서 전자상거래는 여러 가지 상황관계를 상호간에 메시지를 통해서 이루어진다. 그러므로 이에 대한 가장 중요한 요소는 메시지 인증이며, 이는 거래당사자들이 수신된 메시지의 신뢰성을 확인하는 과정이다. 메시지의 진정성은 위조불가, 부인분가, 변경불가, 출처인증으로 구성되어 있고, 공개키 암호화를 통해 수행 할 수 있다. X.400 메시지처리 시스템과 공개키 암호화에 기반을 두고 있는 PGP가 메시지 교환에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공개키 암호화와 X.400 프로토콜 그리고 PGP상에 존재하는 메시지 인증 문제를 해결하기 위하여 NMAP로 명명된 공개정보 기반 암호화 시스템을 제안하고 이를 설계 구현하였다. 구현된 메시지 인증 프로토콜의 검증을 위해 퍼지적분을 사용하였다. 제안된 시스템은 전자상거래의 활성화와 비대화형 인증 서비스 제공에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

병렬 오류인 메시지경합을 가진 메시지전달 프로그램은 비결정적인 수행결과를 보이므로, 이를 탐지하고 수정하는 것이 어렵다. 기존의 메시지경합 탐지 도구들은 메시지경합에 관련된 간접적인 정보를 제공하는 수준이며, 메시지경합의 원인을 자동으로 탐지하지 못한다. 그리고 탐지과정 중에 부가적인 메시지전달 작업이 발생하며, 대상 프로그램을 수정해야 하는 부담이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 탐지 도구는 리눅스 클러스터 시스템을 위한 병렬 프로그램의 메시지경합을 자동으로 탐지하여 직접적인 경합 정보를 제공한다. 그리고 탐지 엔진 부분을 리눅스 커널에 설치함으로써 경합 탐지를 위한 부가적인 메시지전달의 필요성을 제거하고, 대상 프로그램의 수정없이 경합을 탐지할 수 있는 투명성을 제공한다.

Cell phone users frequently send and receive text messages with emoticons in their everyday lives, but emoticon and its emotional effect on message in mobile context has not been focused on. The purpose of this study is to investigate the emotional effect of emoticons on interpretation of text message considering valent texts and emoticons. Study 1 showed the effect of valent emoticons on neutral message, and also revealed that existence of emoticon, regardless of its valence, decreases rigidness and increases familiarity of message. In Study 2 that used positive and negative text messages, we found that emoticon still affects assessing sender's mood state and emotion. Result of interaction between valences of text and emoticon showed that participants in condition of incongruent pairs felt more sarcasm.

VANETs can provide traffic warring service to help drivers drive safely based on the information of the traffic condition. The driver can drive safely through the warning service information provided by the VANET and know the traffic condition exactly more than through only the sight of driver. In this paper we suggest a new mechanism of updating the table to broadcast the message more rapidly based on the table driven method as the way of sending the emergency message in the VANETs. When updating the table, nodes sends only based on the message transmission success rate. In the result of simulation we could find that the suggested mechanism would reduce the delay time of the emergency message broadcast compared to the existing mechanism.

The study analyzed the characteristics of anti-smoking advertisements in Korea and examined if these characteristics were appropriate in terms of their effects. 68 TV anti-smoking ads were content-analyzed, focusing on ad appeal, message frame, message orientation, communication goal, and ad type. According to research, TV anti-smoking ads in Korea used messages that had the following characteristics: First, physical type messages that emphasize the effects of smoking on health, second negative frame messages that show negative consequences of smoking, third self-oriented messages that emphasize the consequences of smoking on oneself, fourth messages that intend to change attitude toward the smoking, and fifth storytelling techniques. Based on the results of previous ansi-smoking ad effect research, practical implications were discussed to enhance the effectiveness of the nation's anti-smoking advertisements.

This study is aimed at examining the degree in message recognitions with respect to the same global brand Ad. campaign intended for local consumers in Korea, China, and United-States, and applying the results to the forseeable message production of global Ad. campaigns. For this purpose, we conducted a survey by providing those consumers with Anycall Ads. of Samsung mobile phones, which were inserted in local printed advertisements. We concluded that the cultural and environmental differences of markets represent different degrees in message recognitions among these three countries. This result suggests that the localization based on local cultures and market situations is more important than the general standardization in the future global brand Ad. campaigns.
