Extraction of user interest area using foreground image separation and mouse tracking program (전경 이미지 분리와 마우스 트랙킹 프로그램을 이용한 사용자 관심 영역 유도)

  • The location of the objects that make up a game can be an element of immersion for players. repeatedly appearing at the same position, the fun may be reduced, and as the play time elapses, the players will feel the game's fun as they appear in a larger area than at the beginning of the game play. This paper is a study to find out the location of objects according to the passage of time and to see how players controlled these objects. First, foreground images are extracted and accumulated using OpenCV programming language. The accumulated result is displayed as a heat map image. Second, the mouse movement area is detected using the mouse tracking program and compared with the heat map image, so that the screen area in which the player is interested can be known.

  • In the existing curriculum of the Elementary Computer Education, it is hard to improve the CPS(Creative Problem Solving) skill and logical thought since the 7th national curriculum emphasizes application programs and CAI softwares. To complement this drawback, it is required to teach the principal of the computer science but there is not many researches for what problems of teaching computer science exist and what the response of students are. Thus, we carried out a research to know whether the students of elementary school can understand principal of computer science in the field of subject matter education. We found that the students can learn the principle of Saving Bitmap Image if the class level is adjusted properly.

  • Recently, the interests of mobile GIS(Geographic Information System) technology is increasing with the spread of wireless network, the improvement of mobile device's performances and the growth of demands about mobile services. If we refer mobile GIS system classified as 3rd generation with the success of Web 2.0, it is suggested that supplies of information from the server side couldn't enhance users' participations and the usage of service. In this study, we suggested the model of GIS 2.0 application based on Google map for Android smart-phones, which users could make, save and share information using photos and text by themselves. We were able to grasp the expectation of GIS 2.0 by expert assessment of this application and got to the core of conditions and implications for the success of GIS 2.0.

  • Spatial information systems have developed in order to provide users with customized land information in u-City environments. The spatial information systems can detect spatial information for users anytime anywhere. Information which is analyzed by data mining techniques can be offered for other users. Therefore, we propose open map API-based prototype which utilizes frequent pattern mining technique. Proposed prototype can mine interesting trip routes and unknown attractions in location data of geophoto. Also, proposed prototype is the first attempt which analyzes spatial patterns can be represented on a map which is selected by users. Our prototype can be applied to the smart phone like mobile devices.

Implementation of Camera-Based Autonomous Driving Vehicle for Indoor Delivery using SLAM (SLAM을 이용한 카메라 기반의 실내 배송용 자율주행 차량 구현)

  • In this paper, we proposed an autonomous vehicle platform that delivers goods to a designated destination based on the SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) map generated indoors by applying the Visual SLAM technology. To generate a SLAM map indoors, a depth camera for SLAM map generation was installed on the top of a small autonomous vehicle platform, and a tracking camera was installed for accurate location estimation in the SLAM map. In addition, a convolutional neural network (CNN) was used to recognize the label of the destination, and the driving algorithm was applied to accurately arrive at the destination. A prototype of an indoor delivery autonomous vehicle was manufactured, and the accuracy of the SLAM map was verified and a destination label recognition experiment was performed through CNN. As a result, the suitability of the autonomous driving vehicle implemented by increasing the label recognition success rate for indoor delivery purposes was verified.

  • In this paper, a nibble RLE(Run Length Encoding) code for real time compression and decompression of Hanguel bit map font and printer data is proposed. The nibble RLE code shows good compression ratio in complete form Hangeul Myoungjo and Godik style bit map font and printer output bit map data. And two ASICs seperating compression and decompression are designed and simulated on CAD to verify the proposed code. The 0.8 micron CMOS Sea of Gate is used to implement the ASICs in amount of 2, 400 gates, and these are running at 25MHz. Therefore, the proposed code could be implemented with simple hardware and performs 100M bit/sec compression and decomression at maximum, it is good for real time applications.

  • 스마트그리드는 기존의 전력망에 정보통신 기술을 융합하여 공급자와 소비자가 양방향으로 실시간 전력 정보를 교환함으로써 에너지 효율을 최적화 하고자 하는 차세대 전력망이다. 기존의 공급자 중심의 일방향성, 폐쇄성, 획일적인 전력망에서 수요자 중심의 양방향성, 개방성을 특징으로 하며 다양한 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 스마트그리드의 운영환경에서의 비즈니스 모델에 따라 기존 서비스 플랫폼과 신규 서비스 플랫폼을 융합할 수 있는 정보통합 체계가 구축되어야 한다. 또한 이종 플랫폼을 융합할 수 있는 적응 모듈이 체계적으로 설계되어야 하며, 이종 체계간 상호운용성 확보는 필수사항이다. 한편 우리나라는 기후변화 등 범 세계적인 이슈에 대응하기 위하여 저탄소 녹색성장, 에너지 효율향상 및 신성장 동력 창출을 위하여 국가 전략 로드맵을 수립하고 국가 단위의 실증사업을 통한 선제적 대응에 총력을 다하고 있다. 실제로 국가 로드맵과 실증사업은 지능형 전력망, 지능형 소비자, 지능형 운송, 지능형 신재생, 지능형 전력서비스의 5개 분야의 응용서비스 영역 기반으로 나누어져 각각의 서비스 플랫폼 구조를 가지고 있으며, 이에 대한 스마트그리드 플랫폼 통합 체계 기술은 스마트그리드의 핵심 기술이다.

  • LBS(Location Based Service) is one of the most important killer App. in the Smart-phone Era. The Smart-phone provide basically location informations using GPS, Wi-Fi AP, 3G ID as a location determination technology to supply LBS. Also it can use maps such as Google map and Daum map with Open API. Therefore, Smart-phone is regarded as the best platform to develop location based applications. In my paper, a location based smart-phone App., that is, "Real-Race App." is designed and implemented for applying events and marketing.

  • IT융합의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 IT 지식정보화 사회에 지능형 로봇의 발전은 끝없이 연구되고 있다. 미래 인간사회에 로봇이 미치는 영향은 아주 클 것으로 예상하고 있으며, 인간의 실생활과 로봇의 가상공간 세계는 점점 일체화 되어 갈 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 인간은 로봇의 활동과 행동을 좀 더 구체적이고 자세하게 제어할 필요가 있다. 최근 현실세계를 가상공간의 세계로 표현하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 가상공간을 활용한 미래의 세상 환경은 점점 많아 질 것으로 예상한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지능로봇 시뮬레이션 맵 자동생성을 위한 제어 동기화 설계를 연구하였다. 현실세계의 실제 로봇과 가상공간의 시뮬레이션 로봇을 동기화하여 하드웨어 로봇의 움직임에 따라 가상공간의 로봇이 맵을 자동으로 생성시킬 수 있는 방법을 연구하고 설계하여 실험하였다. 실제 로봇의 움직임을 3차원 가상공간으로 자동 생성하게 함으로서, 로봇의 제어를 좀 더 지능화 시킬 수 있을 뿐아니라, 여러 다양한 시뮬레이션 테스트 환경으로 응용할 수 있는 큰 장점이 있다. 또한 로봇을 활용한 가상공간 세계의 시뮬레이션은 미래 인간과 로봇이 함께하는 공존세계에 큰 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Semiconductors are considered as one of the essential technologies in modern electronic devices and systems. Thus, it is required to predict and propose the semiconductor technology development roadmap. This study describes the key semiconductor technology issues, research and development trends, and their future roadmap, in the four areas such as the semiconductor device More-Moore integration technology, system-specific application processor technology, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) processor technology, and outside system connectivity via optical and wireless communication.
