연구소기업의 기술지향성과 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 공공기술 사업화와 벤처창업 생태계 활성화를 위해 정부의 막대한 투자로 지난 2006년 부터 1,600호 이상의 연구소기업이 등록, '21년 기준 1.1조원 규모의 매출이 발생 등의 양적 성과에도 연구소기업 1개당 평균 매출액 등의 질적 성과가 지속적으로 하락하는 문제를 인식하였으며, 연구소기업 설립형태 중 가장 시장지향적인 합작투자 형태의 기업 성과가 가장 좋았다는 연구 데이터를 시작으로 질적 성과 하락의 원인을 경영자의 기술지향성과 시장지향성을 주목하게 되었다. 본 연구는 그동안 선행연구를 통해 입증되었던 기업의 기술지향성과 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향이 연구소기업도 실제 적용되는지 실증적 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구목표를 달성하기 위해 총 1,289개의 현행 연구소기업을 연구대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과를 예측해보면 첫째, 기술지향성의 기술우수성, 기술집약도, 기술혁신성 모두 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 시장지향성의 고객지향성, 경쟁지향성, 집입장벽 모두 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구결과를 통해 기술지향성과 시장지향성 모두 연구소기업 경영성과에 직접적 영향을 미치며, 연구소기업 성장에 영향을 미치는 중요 요인임을 확인하였다. 그리고 연구소기업 기술지향성과 시장지향성 강화에 대한 연구의 필요성을 규명하고, 연구소기업 설립요건 변경, 지원사업 다각화 등 정책적 변화의 필요성을 제시하였다. 향후 연구에서는 연구소기업 기술지향성과 시장지향성을 높일 수 있는 정책 연구가 필요하고, 연구소기업 질적 성과 제고를 위한 다양한 관점에서의 연구가 지속될 필요가 있다고 판단된다.

A Study on the Forecast of Sales of High Level Convenience Store Products Using System Dynamics - Focused on the Icecup and Cigarette (시스템 다이내믹스를 활용한 편의점 상위상품 매출예측에 관한 연구 - 아이스컵 및 담배를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to forecast the sales of convenience store flagship products with nonlinear characteristics and time series characteristics. According to the results, the sales of 'Ice Cup' began to increase from March, reached the highest value in summer, especially July and August, and then decreased, revealing a seasonal pattern. Cigarettes showed a seasonal pattern of higher sales in summer and lower sales in winter and was predicted to decrease in sales in the future. This study provides an academic implication in that it focused on the top-selling products that affected an increase in financial performance in a specific convenience store, a method that has been hardly adopted by the existing studies.

시각적 정보가 기업 성과에 미치는 영향: 고객 참여와 프랜차이즈 가맹의 조절된 매개 모형

  • 구매 의사 결정 단계에서 이미지나 동영상의 영향력이 지속해서 증가하고 있음에도 불구하고 시각적 정보가 소비자의 구매 의사 결정 과정에 영향을 미치는 메커니즘과 이에 따른 기업, 특히, 오프라인 기업의 성과에 대해서는 아직 알려진 바가 많지 않다. 이에 본 연구는 O2O 플랫폼에 입점한 10만 개 식당의 실제 예약 매출 데이터를 분석하여 이용자와 사업자가 O2O 플랫폼에 업로드한 사진 등의 시각적 정보가 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향과 메커니즘을 이중 처리 이론 기반으로 파악하고자 한다. 또한 저장하기, 공유, 리뷰 등 고객 참여와 프랜차이즈 가맹의 시각적 정보와 성과 간 관계에 대한 조절된 매개 효과를 분석한다. 본 연구는 이중 처리 이론 기반으로 시각적 정보가 구매 의사 결정 과정에서 작동하는 메커니즘을 설명하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다. 그뿐만 아니라 실제 예약 매출 데이터를 활용하여 분석함으로써 직접적이고, 수익적인 측면의 기업 성과를 측정할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 오프라인 소매점에서 활용할 수 있는 온라인 채널 전략에 대한 실무적인 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

Analysis of Program Providers(PP) in Terms of Theory of Industrial Organization in Korea (국내 프로그램공급업의 산업조직론적 분석)

  • Most of all researchs and analyses in the field of television industry of Korea were related to Cable Television SO(System Operator), but few about PP(Program Provider) from the viewpoint of Industrial Theory in Korea. However, there wasn't a comprehensive research analysis in terms of the co-relationship of the market structure, market conduct and market performance of PP. This research analyzes co-relationship and dynamics of the market structure of PP, its market conduct and market performance in a comprehensive way in Cable TV industry. Especially this paper focuses on the analysis of 1)relationship and its influence between market structure and market conduct, 2) relationship and its influence between their market conducts and market performances and 3) relationship and its influence between market structure and market performance among 40 commercial PPs in terms of the theory of Industrial Organization in Korea. This paper is delated and reported as follows in conclusion : 1)the type of horizontal integration has an effect on the price and scale in the relationship between the structure and its conduct. 2)the price has effect on the revenue and viewing rate between the conduct and performance. And high dependency of the Cable TV license fee has an effect on viewing rate and revenue per subscribers(ARPU) between the conduct and performance. 3)The horizontal integration between the structure and performance had a positive effect on viewing rate and its product differentiation has an effect on the revenue per subscribers. Net cost of the product had a negative effect on the rate of profit.

A Study on the Financial Performance for Nonprofit Performing Arts Organizations: Focusing on American Symphony Orchestras (비영리 공연조직의 재정성과에 관한 연구 - 미국오케스트라를 중심으로 -)

  • This study examines financial performance of nonprofit performing arts organizations to provide concrete suggestions and improve their financial performance so that they can build strategies to continue organizational activities. This study investigates empirical data of IRS 990 tax form of top 73 US orchestras and analyzed GLS pannel. Dependent variables are measured as contributions and ticket sales, and independent variables are measured as economic environment, cultural capital, orchestra characters, government grants, and social capital. Based on the finding from the research, determination of contribution outcomes is positively affected by state employment and orchestra's internal characteristics including age, size and conductor's US nationality, government grants, and volunteer. Ticket sales are affected by employment, education level, orchestra's resources, government grants, and volunteer. However, a size of cultural market negatively influences on financial outcomes and cultural capital doesn't influence on results. Interesting finding is a relationship between volunteers and organizations is vital of their fiscal achievement. This is significant in empirical analysis on nonprofit performing arts organizations from an economic view point, and will contribute on organizations to improve their strategic plan to sustain a business.

The effect of technology capability of product development process on R&D sales performance: Focusing on the moderating effect of government support by the growth stage (제품개발공정의 기술능력이 R&D 매출 성과에 미치는 영향: 성장단계별 정부지원의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • New product or new technology developments are directly linked to a firm's survival and thus their performance and improvement are gaining attention in the midst of rapidly changing business environment and aggravating competition. However, despite SMEs' significance in the national economy, they are limited in terms of size and resources in possession, so the government provides a variety of supports as a policy. According to a study on the organizational life cycle, a firm's limits and difficulties differ by growth stage, so the supports need to be tailored. Based on the data from 2,575 firms that responded to the "2011 SMEs Technological Statistics," how technological capability level and deviation in the R&D process affect the R&D sales performance was studied. The result of analysis revealed that the technological capability has a positive impact on the R&D sales performance. It was also learned that the relationship between deviation in the technological capability and R&D sales performance was moderated by the government support. For the hypothesis that the government support would have a different moderating effect by growth stage for the impact the technology level has on the R&D sales performance, the empirical analysis showed a different meaningful moderating effect for each growth stage. The theoretical implications of the study are that, instead of a simple relation of dynamics that does not take the growth stages into account, it suggested a more realistic causal relationship model that reflects the complex environment the SMEs are in and that the need for measuring and using the deviation in technological capability as a research variable has been justified. The practical implications are that the government policy for supports can be tailored to a growth stage and that the guidelines have been suggested to effectively use the government funding by encouraging the SMEs in a different growth stage to adapt to the customized policy.

덩치 클수록 성과도 '굿' ㆍㆍㆍ포털업계 상승세 주도

  • 코스닥 등록 업체들의 매출구모와 경영안정성은 비례할까. 모든 코스닥기업들에게 적용될 순 없지만 적어도 코스닥 DC기업들에게 만큼은 해당되는 얘기이다. 올 상반기 코스닥에 등록된 DC업체들의 실적을 분석한 결과, 매출 규모가 큰 업체일수록 순이익, 영업이익 등의 재무지표도 대체로 좋았다. 이는 한편으로 '알짜배기' 소형기업, 즉 강소기업(强小企業)이 상대적으로 줄어들고 있다는 것을 의미한다는 점에서 DC산업의 건전한 생태계 육성을 위해 풀어야 할 과제가 되고있다.

Location Factors Determining Hair-style Service Sales (미용서비스업체의 입지요인과 경영성과에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper aims to examine the location factors affecting small service business performance, especially hair-style service business sales which are assumed to be dependent on outskirts' residents. In contrast to the prior research, this study measures sales amount as business success factors rather than business man's satisfaction level or customers' royalty. The empirical results show that hair-style service business can be determined by visibility and access level of its shop. In addition, its sales can be influenced by hairstyling chair, but its sales per a designer can impacted by hairstyling chair. This study also presents additional examinations about several independent factors which can have influence on hair-style business performance and several location traits that can have an significant influence on its sales volume.

Impact of Open-innovation on Startup Growth : Focusing on Sales Collaboration Performance (오픈이노베이션이 스타트업 성장에 미치는 영향 : 매출 협업 성과를 중심으로 )

  • This study is related to the performance of open innovation collaboration between startups and large corporations and financial institutions. In the life cycle of a typical company, the growth of a startup is difficult to predict. Startups that possess innovative technology but have only recently been established seek to verify their technology and capabilities by participating in open innovation with large corporations and financial institutions, and further strive to lay the foundation for corporate growth. However, if you approach it only as a theoretical coexistence plan, it will be viewed as a vague attempt from the startup's perspective. The purpose of this study is to differentiately verify the benefits of open innovation by analyzing the difference in sales growth of startups for the purpose of sales performance based on the open innovation participation of large companies and small and medium-sized companies(startups). In verifying this, the analysis was based on the sales results of the actual open innovation collaboration B2C model, and the difference was confirmed by comparing before and after collaboration. Here, the differentiation of the study was added by reflecting the corporate growth stage theory, a growth theory. When the corporate growth stage theory was excluded, it was confirmed that sales growth due to open innovation of startups was applied from the third month, and sales growth depending on participation was confirmed to be significant. On the other hand, when the corporate growth stage theory was applied, sales growth was not significant, but the difference in growth could be confirmed from the fourth month, and it was also confirmed in sales growth depending on participation. As a result, this study objectively confirms the effects that can be gained when startups participate in Open-innovation, and it is expected that Open-innovation led by large corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies will develop into a high-quality program environment.
