Development of Efficient User Navigation Interface for Client-side Mashups (클라이언트 매시업의 편리한 이동 사용자 인터페이스 개발)

  • Client based web mashups have become one of the most important architecture in web application development. Although there are well known methods to generate presentation view codes for web services, navigations between views and service requests are still developed manually in most web mashups. In this paper, we propose the concept of deterministic data binding from output data to input parameters of another method. Using binding relations, we can model navigation menus for service method requests. For a given set of data mappings between services, we investigate context dependent binding conditions and discuss the generation of views and navigation menus. The proposed approach provides UI for users to navigate services of client mashup page using simple and convenient interface even when the number of services and the size of the mashup page grows. In order to show the usability of the proposed approach, we present a historic tourism service.

Effective Image Retrieval for the M-Learning System (모바일 교육 시스템을 위한 효율적인 영상 검색 구축)

  • As the educational media tends to be more digitalized and individualized, the learning paradigm is dramatically changing into e-learning. Existing on-line courseware gives a learner more chances to learn when they are home with their own PCs. However, it is of little use when they are away from their digital media. Also, it is very labor-intensive to convert the original off-line contents to on-line contents. This paper proposes education mobile contents(EMC) that can supply the learners with dynamic interactions using various multimedia information by recognizing real images of off-line contents using mobile devices. Content-based image retrieval based on object shapes is used to recognize the real image, and shapes are represented by differential chain code with estimated new starting points to obtain rotation-invariant representation, which is fitted to computational resources of mobile devices with low resolution camera. Moreover we use a dynamic time warping method to recognize the object shape, which compensates scale variations of an object. The EMC can provide learners with quick and accurate on-line contents on off-line ones using mobile devices without limitations of space.

An User-aware System using Visible Light Communication (가시광 통신을 이용한 사용자 인식 시스템)

  • This paper introduces the implementation of an user-aware system using a visible light communication and its operations. The user-aware system using a visible light communication consists of the transmitter based on the Android system and the receiver based on an open-source controller. In the transmitter, user's personal information data is encoded and converted to visible light signals by the Android camera interface. In the receiver, the photodiode module receives the incoming visible light signals and converts to electrical signals and the open-source controller, that is arduino processes the received data. The processing module finds the start bit of 0111 to determine the user information data from the packet for the burst-mode communication. According to the experimental results, the proposed system successfully transmits and receives visible light data with the manchester encoding.

  • Analysis of narrative texts has been regarded as academically and practically important, and has been made from various perspectives and methods. In this paper, the computational narrative analysis methodology from the perspective of information processing was examined. From the point of view of information processing, the creation and acceptance of narrative is a bidirectional coding process mediated by narrative text, and narrative text can be said to be a multi-layered structured code. In this paper, four methodologies that share this point of view - character network analysis, text mining and sentiment analysis, continuity analysis of event composition, and knowledge analysis of narrative agents - were examined together with cases. Through this, the mechanism and possibility of computational methodology in narrative analysis were confirmed. In conclusion, the significance and side effects of computational narrative analysis were examined, and the necessity of designing a human-computer collaboration model based on the consilience of the humanities and science/technology was discussed. Based on this model, it was argued that aesthetically creative, ethically good, politically progressive, and cognitively sophisticated narratives could be made more effectively.

  • 새만금 유역 내에는 다수의 보 및 제수문이 위치하고 있으며, 관개, 배수, 오염원 등이 영향을 받고 있다. 선행연구 중에는 보 및 제수문을 고려하기 위해 모형의 소스코드를 일부 수정하여 연구되고 있으나 유역모형으로 구현하기에는 한계가 있으며, 이에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 만경강 유역을 대상으로 유역 모형과 전산유체역학 모형을 이용하여 하류 제수문에 대한 유입, 유출 그리고 오염원 등의 영향을 분석하고자 한다. SWAT (Soil and water assessment tool)은 유역 모형으로 미국 농무부에서 농업유역의 수문순환 및 비점오염원을 모의하기 위해 개발한 모형이다. CFD (Computational fluid dynamics)는 전산유체역학 모형으로 구조물을 설계하고 유체, 기체 등을 모의할 수 있다. SWAT 모형을 이용하여 농업유역 하류 제수문 위치를 출구로 지정하여 수문을 모의하고 그 결과자료는 CFD에 입력할 수 있다. CFD는 하류 제수문 구조물을 설계하고 SWAT 모형의 수문자료를 입력하여 제수문의 영향을 평가할 수 있다. 우선, 만경강 유역을 대상유역으로 선정하고 부용, 황산, 상리, 고은교 등 제수문의 위치를 파악하였다. SWAT 모형 구축을 위해 2015-2018년까지 기상, 수위, 유량 관측자료를 수집하였으며, 보정기간과 검증기간은 각 2년이며, 모형 성능 검증에 사용한 적합성 평가 지수는 R2 (Determine coefficient), RMSE (Root mean square error), 그리고 NSE (Nash-sutcliffe efficiency coefficient)를 사용하였다. 모형의 보정은 SWAT-CUP 자동보정프로그램을 사용하였으며, 모형의 보정지수는 NSE를 사용하였고, 1,000회 반복 수행을 통해 매개변수를 최적화하였다. 보정기간의 유출량 적합성 평가 지수는 R2, RMSE 그리고 NSE가 각각 0.84, 2.96 mm/day, 0.70을 나타냈다. 검증기간의 유출량 적합성 평가 지수는 R2, RMSE 그리고 NSE가 각각 0.72, 2.94 mm/day, 0.46을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 유역 차원과 구조물 차원의 모델링을 연계하는 것으로 향후 제수문 모니터링 자료를 활용하여 CFD 모형을 구축하고 유입량에 따른 제수문의 검보정 및 영향을 평가하고자 한다. 이러한 결과는 최근 기후변화에 따라 급격히 변화하는 유역환경에 대처할 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있을 것이며, 제수문 시설을 관리하는 기관에서도 합리적인 운영방안에 대한 기초자료로 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

A Study on Standardization of IISS Software for Combat Interface Information Analysis of Naval Combat Management System

  • The IISS(Integrated Interface Storage System) software performs the function of transmitting tactical domain messages of Combat Management System for interface analysis of Naval Combat System. The source code is relatively large because the IISS software handles most messages. The modifications of source code of the IISS software occur frequently due to changes in interconnected equipment and messages. Therefore, additional effort and cost are required during the development process. In this paper, we studied standardization of the IISS software to improve reusability. Through the feature model, the components of the IISS software were divided by function and modification elements were separated. And the structure of the IISS software was improved by applying design patterns. As a result, it was possible to minimize modifications of the IISS software by changes in interconnected equipment and messages and a reduction in development costs could be expected.

A component based framework for service development of ubiquitous healthcare (유비쿼터스 서비스 개발을 위한 컴포넌트 기반의 서비스 개발 프레임워크)

  • 유비궈터스 헬스케어는 단일화된 서비스가 아니라 다양한 기술들이 복합적으로 결합되어 운용되는 서비스이다. 따라서 서비스의 형태가 고정적이지 않고 매우 다양하게 나타난다. 하지만 실제로 차이가 발생하는 부분은 서비스의 구현에 관한 세부적 내용에서 나타나고, 서비스 운용을 위한 기본 구성요소에 있어서는 큰 차이가 없이 유사한 형태를 가진다. 그 결과 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 개발 과정에서는 실제 서비스의 구현 외의 통신과 데이터베이스의 이용, 메시지 전달과 같은 중복되는 항목에 대한 고려가 매번 이루어져야 한다. 이것은 개발 과정에 있어 불필요한 비용의 증가를 불러온다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 불필요한 비용을 감소시키며 서비스의 개발과 운용이 가능한 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스의 제공을 위한 아키텍처와 서비스 개발을 위한 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안하는 서비스 제공 아키덱처는 크게 이용자 단말, 유비궈터스 헬스케어 서비스 센터, 외부 기관으로 구성된다. 서비스 개발 프레임워크는 서버와 클라이언트 프레임워크로 구분된다. 서비스 개발 프레임워크는 서비스를 제공하는 서버에서 필요한 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스의 공통 구성요소를 가진다. 서비스의 개발을 위해 우선 프로세스에 대한 정의를 수행하고, 정의된 내용에 따라 필요한 코드 템플릿을 결합하여 서비스의 초기 형태를 만들어낸다. 여기에 각 서비스가 필요로 하는 세부 사항을 작성하는 것으로 서비스의 개발을 수행하게 된다. 제안된 서비스 제공 아키텍처와 서비스 개발 프레임워크를 실제 적용해보기 위해 전림선비대증 환자 진료를 위한 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.JSHOP2 계획수립기내에 구현하였다. 계획 실행 방법으로는 주어진 강건한 계획에 대하여 행위들이 직접 실행하수 있도록 한다.며 용량에 의존하는 양상을 보였다. $H_2O_2$에 의해 유발(誘發)된 DNA의 손상은 catalase와 deferoxamine에 의해 억제되었지만 DPPD는 억제시키지 못했다. 배기음(排氣飮)은 $H_2O_2$에 의해 유발(誘發)된 ATP의 소실을 회복시켰다. 이러한 실험결과 $H_2O_2$에 의해 유발(誘發)된 세포(細胞)의 손상(損傷)은 지질(脂質)의 과산화(過酸化)와는 다른 독립적인 기전에 의해 일어남을 나타낸다. 결론 : 이러한 결과들로 볼 때 Caco-2 세포(細胞)에서 배기음(排氣飮)이 항산화작용(亢酸化作用)보다는 다른 기전을 통하여 Caco-2 세포안에서 산화제(酸化劑)에 의해 유발(誘發)된 세포(細胞)의 사망(死亡)와 DNA의 손상(損傷)을 방지할 수 있다는 것을 가리킨다. 따라서 본 연구(硏究)는 배기음(排氣飮)이 반응성산소기(反應性酸素基)에 의해 매개된 인체(人體) 위장관질환(胃腸管疾患)의 치료(治療)에 사용할 수 있을 가능성(可能性)이 있음을 제시하고 있다.에 이를 이용하여 유가배양시 기질을 공급하는 공정변수로 사용하였다 [8]. 생물학적인 폐수처리장치인 활성 슬러지법에서 미생물의 활성을 측정하는 방법은 아직 그다지 개발되어있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 슬러지의 주 구성원이 미생물인 점에 착안하여 침전시 슬러지층과 상등액의 온도차를 측정하여 대사열량의 발생량을 측정하고 슬러지의 활성을 측정할 수 있는 방법을

  • Illustrations in advertisement uses various social and cultural codes to stimulate the desire to buy in consumers in the first place, since this is an economic phenomenon orchestrated to sell a product. Hence, factors outside the product per se, such as tradition, social issues and class consciousness are introduced. Especially, in modern advertisement a strategy is adopted to differentiate standard products produced by mass production. In order to do so, such factors as mentioned above become as important as physical characteristics of the product per se and its usage value. As a result, phrases or images used for advertisement can have independent influences on the society irrespective of the sales effects on the product. In this respect, it is fair to state that advertisement reflects the phases and consciousness of a given period as a cultural phenomenon. Therefore, based on the premise of characteristics and roles attributed to the advertisement, this thesis proposes to make a comparative study on the images of women in commercial advertisement in Korea during Japanese Imperialism and China during Cultural Colonial period dating from 1900 to 1945. The starting point of this research will cover the period of foreign trade and Japanese Imperialism in Korea and interference of Western Power in China. It will also investigate on the birth of Korean advertisement by Japanese Imperialists and Chinese modern advertisement along with the modernization of Shanghai. Then, I propose to present the illustrations of women in advertisements based on comparative study of their characteristics and expressions as observed in several case studies both in Korea and China. Connotative meanings in such advertisement will be investigated in the context of political, economic and cultural dominance.

The Meaning of Hallyu and Its Sustainability in Bulgaria (불가리아 한류의 의미와 발전방향)

  • Hallyu in East Europe has been spread since the end of the 2000s and contributed to boost the familiarity and favorability of Korea. Hallyu in East Europe started from Romania and Hungary, Korean dramas and K-Pops spread to Bulgaria. Korea and Bulgaria established a diplomatic relations in 1990; however, people of both countries do not share enough information or knowledge on each other. This study aims to understand the meaning of Hallyu and the ways of building cultural relations through Hallyu based on the cognitions and attitudes toward Korea and Korean culture in Bulgaria. It conducted the Focus Group Discussions(FGD) for 24 Sofia residents in their 20s and 30s. The FGD questions were mainly on the level of familiarity and of impacts of Hallyu in Bulgaria. The Hallyu in Bulgaria is still not so popular although Hallyu has been promoted through the diverse activities of Korean Embassy, Sofia University, Korean language institutions, and the Hallyu fans. The economic and cultural impact of the Hallyu is not yet viable in Bulgaria. In order to be recognized as one of the foreign popular culture in Bulgaria, Hallyu should be promoted with various endeavors for Bulgarian people to experience Korean culture beyond Korean drama and K-Pops based on the understanding of socio-cultural characteristics of Bulgaria. Then, Hallyu will be spread by producing Korean dramas, films, and K-pops reflected by local cultural characteristics in Bulgaria and hybridity of Korean popular culture.

Connection between Fourier of Signal Processing and Shannon of 5G SmartPhone (5G 스마트폰의 샤논과 신호처리의 푸리에의 표본화에서 만남)

  • Shannon of the 5G smartphone and Fourier of the signal processing meet in the sampling theorem (2 times the highest frequency 1). In this paper, the initial Shannon Theorem finds the Shannon capacity at the point-to-point, but the 5G shows on the Relay channel that the technology has evolved into Multi Point MIMO. Fourier transforms are signal processing with fixed parameters. We analyzed the performance by proposing a 2N-1 multivariate Fourier-Jacket transform in the multimedia age. In this study, the authors tackle this signal processing complexity issue by proposing a Jacket-based fast method for reducing the precoding/decoding complexity in terms of time computation. Jacket transforms have shown to find applications in signal processing and coding theory. Jacket transforms are defined to be $n{\times}n$ matrices $A=(a_{jk})$ over a field F with the property $AA^{\dot{+}}=nl_n$, where $A^{\dot{+}}$ is the transpose matrix of the element-wise inverse of A, that is, $A^{\dot{+}}=(a^{-1}_{kj})$, which generalise Hadamard transforms and centre weighted Hadamard transforms. In particular, exploiting the Jacket transform properties, the authors propose a new eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) method with application in precoding and decoding of distributive multi-input multi-output channels in relay-based DF cooperative wireless networks in which the transmission is based on using single-symbol decodable space-time block codes. The authors show that the proposed Jacket-based method of EVD has significant reduction in its computational time as compared to the conventional-based EVD method. Performance in terms of computational time reduction is evaluated quantitatively through mathematical analysis and numerical results.
