Analysis of debris flow simulation parameters with entrainment effect: a case study in the Mt. Umyeon (연행작용을 고려한 우면산 토석류 모의 매개변수 특성분석)

  • The shallow landslide-trigerred debris flow in hillslope catchments is the primary geological phenomenon that drives landscape changes and therefore imposes risks as a natural hazard. In particular, debris flows occurring in urban areas can result to substantial damages to properties and human injuries during the flow and sediment transport process. To alleviate the damages as a result of these debris flow, analytical models for flow and damage prediction are of significant importance. However, the analysis of debris flow model parameters is not yet sufficient, and the analysis of the entrainment, which has a significant influence on the flow process and the damage extent, is still incomplete. In this study, the effects of erosion and erosion process on the flow and the impact area due to the change in the soil parameters are analyzed using Deb2D model, a flow analysis model of debris developed in Korea. The research is conducted for the case of the Mt. Umyeon landslide in 2011. The resulting impacted area, total debris-flow volume, maximum velocity and inundated depth from the Erosion model are compared to the field survey data. Also, the effect of the entrainment changing parameters is analyzed through the erosion shape and depth. The debris flow simulation for the Raemian and Shindong apartment catchment with the consideration of entrainment effect and erosion has been successful. Each parameter sensitivity could be analyzed through sensitivity analysis for the two basins based on the change in parameters, which indicates the necessity of parameter estimation.

An Influence of Accounting Information Education Characteristics on the Psychological Capital and Flow in Digital Convergence Society (디지털 컨버전스 사회에서 AI교육 특성변수가 심리적 자본과 플로워에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships between AI education characteristics and psychological capital, psychological capital and flow, AI characteristics and flow through meditating effect of psychological capital in the digital convergence society. There are three AI characteristics: correctness, usefulness, easy of use. This empirical study was examined by 282 questionnaires to the three universities that teach accounting information system. It was performed by three-step method of the hierarchical regression analysis for the multiple regression analysis and parameter using the SPSS 22.0. The results and implications by analysis are as follows. First, AI characteristics and psychological capital have statistically significant positive influence. From AI attribute, correctness was established as the most important element. Second, psychological capital positively(+) influences flow. It allowed for the developed in flow. Third, psychological capital was shown as the major meditative variable between AI characteristics and flow. Through these, this paper suggests to reinforce self-efficacy, hope, resilience, optimism.

Continuous Rainfall-Runpff Simulation Analysis of Jeongjacheon watershed using GIS-based HEC-HMS Model (GIS 기반의 HEC-HMS를 이용한 정자천 유역의 연속 강우.유출 분석)

  • GIS 기반의 HEC-HMS를 이용하여 유량자료가 있는 소하천인 정자천 유역을 대상으로 장기 강우 유출 분석을 하였다. 일반적으로 홍수량 산정은 단기해석으로 분석하나 평 갈수기와 홍수기 때의 하천 유황이 다르기 때문에 매개변수가 불일치할 것이라 생각되고, 이에 대한 보정이 필요한지 판단이 필요하다. 이를 위해 장기 연속모의를 통하여 매개변수의 보정 필요성을 검토하였다. 연구는 수치지도를 조합하여 ARC-VIEW로부터 Map파일 및 Basin파일을 생성하였고, 토지이용도와 토양도를 ARC-VIEW를 이용하여 CN value를 추출하였다. 계산조건중 손실량 산정방법은 SCS Curve Number법으로 하였고, 단위도 방법은 Clark UH법, 하도추적방법은 Muskingum방법, 기저유량산정방법은 Constant monthly로 설정하였다. 유역면적, 도달시간자료, 저류상수 값 등의 추출은 GIS기법을 이용하여 추출하였다. HEC-HMS의 장기 연속모의(Continuous Simulation)로 얻어진 Element Graph를 보면 대략적인 형태가 일치하나 2006년도에 대한 모의에서는 홍수기의 결과만 일치하는 것으로 보이고, 2007년도에 대한 모의에서는 평 갈수기와 홍수기의 그래프 형태가 유사하게 나타났다. 실측 유량보다 유량 값이 약간 크게 산출되어 홍수량 산정에서 볼 때 안정성에 무리가 없다고 판단되지만, 평 갈수기 기간에서 볼 때 연마다 하천의 매개변수가 일치하지 않는다고 생각되며, 홍수 후 유역의 변화로 매개변수가 변화한 것이라 생각된다. 향후 정자천유역의 보다 많은 강우사상과 실측유량을 통해 HEC-HMS의 유출량을 비교 분석하면 보다 더 정확한 해석이 가능할 것이며, 홍수가 빈번한 지역의 경우 유수지의 검토와 저수지의 시간당 방류량을 알 수 있다면 오차의 범위를 줄일 수 있다고 생각된다. 더 나아가 우리나라에 적합한 매개변수와 GIS 프로그램이 개발된다면 보다 쉽고 정확한 해석이 가능할 것이라고 생각된다.

  • The result of imaging segmentation becomes different with the parameters involved in the segmentation algorithms; therefore, the parameters for the optimal segmentation have been found through a try and error. In this paper, we propose the method to find the best values of parameters involved in the area-based active contour method using three-way ANOVA. The segmentation result applied by three-way ANOVA is compared with the optimal segmentation which is drawn by user. We use the global consistency rate for comparing two segmentations. Finally, we estimate the main effects and interactions between each parameter using three-way ANOVA, and then calculate the point and interval estimate to find the best values of three parameters. The proposed method will be a great help to find the optimal parameters before working the motion segmentation using piecewise constant model.

Analysis of Runoff Sensitivity for Initial Soil Condition in Distributed Model (초기토양조건에 대한 분포형모형 유출민감도 분석)

  • In this research, a physics based grid-multi layer distributed flood runoff model was developed to analyze discharge for the Namgang Dam Watershed ($2,293km^2$) and applied for sensitivity analysis for estimation of parameters, mainly initial soil moisture condition and saturate infiltration coefficient, which have a strong influence on discharge. Capability of the model was evaluated using VER and QER from the results of rainfall-runoff analysis and showed enhanced results of 6% compared to parameters before calibration. As the result with the sensitivity analysis of parameters, the part of the most influence on the runoff was the infiltration coefficient and ratio of layer partition. The total discharge and peak time showed comparatively precise runoff results without the initial calibration of the parameters.

Estimating time-varying parameters for monthly water balance model using particle filter: assimilation of stream flow data (입자 필터를 이용한 월 물 수지 모형의 시간변화 매개변수 추정: 하천유량 자료의 동화)

  • Hydrological model parameters are essential for model simulation and can vary over time due to topography, climatic conditions, climate change and human activity. Consequently, the use of fixed parameters can lead to inaccurate stream flow simulations. The aim of this study is to investigate an appropriate method of estimating time-varying parameters using stream flow observations, and how the simulation efficiency changes when stream flow data are assimilated into the model. The data assimilation method can be used to automatically estimate the parameters of a hydrological model by adapting to a variety of changing environments. Stream flow observations were assimilated into a two parameter monthly water balance model using a particle filter. The simulation results using the time-varying parameters by the data assimilation method were compared with the simulation results using the fixed parameters by the SCEM method. First, we conducted synthesis experiments based on various scenarios to investigate if the particle filter method can adequately track parameters that change over time. After that, it was applied to actual watersheds and compared with the predictive performance of stream flow when using parameters that change with time and fixed parameters. The conclusions obtained through this study are as follows: (1) The predictive performance of the overall monthly stream flow time series was similar between the particle filter method and the SCEM method. (2) The monthly runoff prediction performance in the period except the rainy season was better in the simulation by the periodically changing parameters using the data assimilation method. (3) Uncertainty in the observational data of stream flow used for assimilation played an important role in the predictive performance of the particle filter.

  • In this study, ILLUDAS and SWMM were applied for Dongsucheon basin, Incheon and Test basin, Cheongju. The main parameters (II, IA, IS, SI, SR, SS) which are included in those of each model depending on runoff results were determined, and sensitivity ratios were estimated in order to evaluate and compare the characteristics of each modEL. Total runoff ratio for almost parameters turned out to have a linear relation to the rainfall durations and the scale of basin area but have nothing to do with rainfall distributions. Sensitivity ratios turned out to have a linear relation for the infiltration and soil parameters of ILLUDAS as well as all parameters of SWMM. ronoff sensitivity ratios for almost parameters were smaller than 1.0 because the impacts of total runoff were bigger than those of peak runoff. And runoff sensitivity ratio was equal to 1.0 for the roughness coefficient of SWMM. Total runoff ratio, peak runoff ratio and runoff sensitivity ratio for the selected parameters of those models were presented asthe tables and figures according to the scale of basin area, rainfall durations such as 60, 120, and 180 minutes and Huff's 4th quartiles rainfall distributions.   • This paper is the study on the establishment of design model to improve design efficiency using modified weight estimation equation on the initial design stage for development of a helicopter. The methodology to extract coefficients of the weight estimation equation was proposed through the influence investigation for the weight of components and the parameter study and sensitivity analysis for design variables such as the rotor disk loading, the number of blade and the aspect ratio of blade were also performed. As a result of study, the relation of parameters and degree of sensitivity of parameters on helicopter design are considerable points for optimization of helicopter characteristics, and it is necessary for designer to consider the complex relation of main parameters.

  • In this study, we analyzed the accuracy of the conversion from DLT parameters to physical camera parameters and optimized the use of DLT model for non-metric cameras in photogrammetric tasks. Using the simulated data, we computed two sets of physical camera parameters from DLT parameters and Bundle adjustment for various cases. Comparing two results based on the RMSE values of check points, we optimized the arrangement of GCPs for DLT.

  • 본 연구는 다문화청소년패널 6차년도 데이터를 활용하여 다문화청소년의 진로장벽과 사회적위축이 성취동기를 매개로 진로결정성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 한다. 분석대상은 다문화청소년 1,283명이다. 주요 분석변수는 독립변수로 진로장벽, 사회적위축, 매개변수로 성취동기, 종속변수로 진로결정성을 분석할 것이다. 이러한 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0을 사용할 것이다.
