With the exploration of digital academic information, it is certainly required to develop more effective academic contents recommender system in order to accommodate increasing needs for accessing more personalized academic contents. Considering historical usage data, the academic content recommender system recommends personalized academic contents which corresponds with each user's preference. So, the academic content recommender system effectively increases not only the accessibility but also usability of digital academic contents. In this paper, we propose the new journal recommendation technique based on information of journal subscription and web usage logs in order to properly recommend more personalized academic contents. Our proposed recommendation method predicts user's preference with the institution similarity, the journal similarity and journal importance based on citation relationship data of references and finally compose institute-oriented recommendations. Also, we develop a recommender system prototype. Our developed recommender system efficiently collects usage logs from distributed web sites and processes collected data which are proper to be used in proposed recommender technique. We conduct compare performance analysis between existing recommender techniques. Through the performance analysis, we know that our proposed technique is superior to existing recommender methods.

While the broadband network and multimedia technology are being developed, the commercial market on digital contents as well as IPTV has been widely spreading. Especially IPTV is providing various useful services since it makes using multimedia contents easier and more convenient by combining the strong points of both TV and PC system. Until now, IPTV system has been focused on VoD service as a general usages. However, various IPTV services are recently demanded since they can have special features for some specific places and occasions. So in this paper, we propose a design of the download based IPTV system using user-specific channel management. At first, program contents previously scheduled by users are downloaded and are played at settop-box according to the prescribed time table. This system has some advantages of giving users easy access to any wanted media contents in anytime that is IPTV's characteristics. And we can increase stability of services by using time slot distributed download for contents. Because this service can be constructed and maintained at relatively low cost, we confirm that this service model is more suitable to some companies with small infrastructure and special purposes. Accordingly, in this paper, we look into necessary elements and define some protocols for system in order to help other developer build this system.

Mathematics is a discipline with a strong systemic structure, and learning deficits in previous stages have a great influence on the next stages of learning. Therefore, it is necessary to frequently check whether students have learned well and to provide immediate feedback, and for this purpose, intelligent tutoring system(ITS) can be used in math education. For this reason, it is necessary to reveal how the intelligent tutoring system is effective in personalized adaptive learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate the functions and applications of intelligent tutoring system for personalized adaptive learning in mathematics. To achieve this goal, literature reviews and surveys with students were applied to derive implications. Based on the literature reviews, the functions of intelligent tutoring system for personalized adaptive learning were derived. They can be broadly divided into diagnosis and evaluation, analysis and prediction, and feedback and content delivery. The learning and lesson plans were designed by them and it was applied to fifth graders in elementary school for about three months. As a result of this study, intelligent tutoring system was mostly supporting personalized adaptive learning in mathematics in several ways. Also, the researcher suggested that more sophisticated materials and technologies should be developed for effective personalized adaptive learning in mathematics by using intelligent tutoring system.

본 연구에서는 사용자의 성격패턴을 사용자의 대화음성 정보만으로 자동 분류할 수 있는 방법과 이를 기반으로 사용자의 성격 맞춤형 학습전략을 적용하는 애플리케이션을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 음성대화 속의 발화된 말의 빠르기(speech rate)나 말소리의 크기, 기본주파수(fundamental frequency)의 값과 그들의 변화패턴, 그리고 묵음구간의 여러 가지 통계적 정보 같은 비언어적 단서를 활용하여 성격패턴을 최고 86.3% 까지 정확하게 인식해 낼 수 있었다. 또한 성격 별 영어단어 학습방법을 개발하여 사전 및 사후테스트를 기반으로 실험한 결과 약 24% 성적 향상을 보였다. 이 연구를 통해 확보되는 원천기술은 각종 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠에는 물론 로봇과의 대화시스템, 치료나 재활을 위한 기능성 콘텐츠 등에 유용하게 사용될 것이다.

The Ministry of Public Safety and Security plans to expand fire safety education infrastructure to provide customized fire safety education, spread fire safety culture and develop a tailored fire safety education system as a part of the 2016 Citizens' Safety Improvement Policy. This study has also been designed to improve safety problems in the Republic of Korea. Even though safety education has been given, citizens aren't still able to experience a close-to-real situation. In addition, their understanding and satisfaction with the curriculum are very low. Therefore, this study offers VR fire-extinguishing experience education contents as an effective alternative. With a goal of having the participants experience fire extinguishing and evacuation drill in a virtual space, this program has the following advantages: i) safe fire-extinguishing experience; ii) UI to create fun ; iii) useful in fire-extinguishing education; iv) budget saving. we configure the VR fire experience system structure and hardware by applying UX design methodology. We also develop for VR-specific motion recognition plug-in and controller that can be feeling in HMD environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze personalized contents and previews of OTT service based on user experience and to suggest the improvements of the preview viewing experience. Current domestic OTT mobile applications were researched to find out how services are offering content. Plus, the 20s-30s were recruited to analyze user experience. An online survey and in-depth interview were conducted by using Stephen P. Anderson's Creating Pleasurable Interface Model. As a result, preview help users to select content but it doesn't suit their taste. Also, the preview is hard to watch however they want. Therefore, it can be inferred that the preview requires the function for improving efficiency, preference, and accessibility. This study is expected to be used as research material on user experience or preview experience of OTT content.

Along with the social interests and needs for health, the U-Healthcare Service as a new model to control individual dietary life and to prevent chronic diseases is now drawing the public attention. In this study, the characteristics of the requirement of U-Healthcare Service were investigated from subjects aged over 50 years old. As parts of the expectation to the U-Healthcare service, the customized clinical care & control (37.7%) and the systematic understanding of individual health state (21.4%) appeared significantly. And for the application of the U-Healthcare Service to the field of healthcare, the control of dietotherapy (43.9%) appeared higher than anything else and thus the customized service for individual dietotherapy seemed to be needed. Regarding the field of searching for health information, the disease control (35.6%), food materials (28.6%), and recipe for health foods (22.7%) appeared in sequence and revealed that the majority over 50% of subjects were interested in foods. The requirements for the information of dietary formula were also investigated through 5 points scaled questionnaires on respective topics of nutritive components, menus customized for corresponding health states (diseases), and the results obtained from surveys on respective topics all showed the needs for all information by representing each point value exceeded 3.9. Through the results obtained from this study, the provision of customized information enabling the nutritional control in accordance with individual states of health or disease was estimated to be needed for the popularization of U-Healthcare Service providing contents for dietary life of clients especially those of aged over 50 years.

언제 어디서든 한 손으로 미디어 콘텐츠를 소비할 수 있게 해주는 모바일 기기들이 기존 전통적 미디어 콘텐츠 단말기였던 TV나 데스크톱 PC들을 대체하게 되면서 세로형 영상 콘텐츠에 대한 수요가 나날이 높아져 가고 있다. 이와 더불어 모바일 단말기 제조사들은 서로 간의 경쟁에서 앞서기 위해 제품 차별화 전략을 수립하고 모바일 사용자들의 요구 사항을 세세하게 맞추기 위한 결과, 저마다 다른 디스플레이 해상도 규격을 가진 모바일 기기들이 생산되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 미디어 콘텐츠 제작자들은 기존 가로형 영상 콘텐츠와 더불어 새롭게 요구되는 세로형 영상 콘텐츠들을 저마다 다른 해상도 규격에 맞추는데 많은 시간과 비용을 투자하고 있다. 더 나아가 모바일 단말기 해상도 규격과 맞지 않는 영상 콘텐츠를 시청하게 될 경우, 모바일 사용자 입장에서는 디스플레이 전체 영역을 뷰포트로 잡을 수 없어 시청 만족도가 떨어질 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 한 번의 콘텐츠 제작을 통해서도 추가 비용 없이 다양한 디스플레이 규격을 가진 단말기들에 대해 맞춤형 콘텐츠 서비스 제공을 가능하게 하여 미디어 콘텐츠 소비자들에게 충분한 시청 몰입감을 제공해줄 수 있는 단말 적응적 미디어 화면비 변환 시스템을 제안한다. 단말 적응적 미디어 화면비 변환 시스템은 딥러닝 네트워크 모델과 이미지 관련 라이브러리를 기반으로 하여 설계한 시스템이며, 사용자가 시청하기 원하는 영역을 판단하고, 사용자가 원하는 뷰포트 종횡비에 따라 해당 영역을 잘라내어 사용자가 원하는 세로형 영상 콘텐츠를 제공해준다.

In this paper, we have designed and implemented a personalized health training system which provides health training methods using 3D animation based on the data from a professional trainer, after a trainee inputs individual physical characteristics. Many trainers at fitness centers provide only sketchy training method and usage of fitness machines not appropriate training method for trainee's physical characteristics. Individual characteristics. Individual characteristics prepared tabular input which consists of exercise goals, exercise areas, whether or not the normal movement, and RM. The system provides the training methods, the effects of exercise, and the health training motions through searching the database more accurately.
