Antecedents to Improve Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty of Department Store (백화점의 고객만족 및 충성도 제고를 위한 선행요인에 관한 연구)

  • The reason customer satisfaction has been considered importantly in previous researches is that customer satisfaction can lead repurchase and loyalty. For a department store which tries to differentiate from other retailing stores by providing prestige services with customers, customer satisfaction is an essential element for keeping customer loyalty. Previous researches had mentioned only marketing mix to explain the customer satisfaction of department store. However, this paper would like to examine that differential services of department store can have an effect on the customer satisfaction, as well as marketing mix. As results, place(location) variable and promotion variable of four marketing mix influenced on the customer satisfaction significantly. The rest of marketing mix, product and price, were not confirmed statistically. Most of all, as an additional variable, service can have an strong effect on the customer satisfaction positively. Therefore, department store need to consider not only marketing mix but also service variable when building marketing strategies.

The Influence of Person-Job Fit on Organizational Deviance in Social Welfare Organization Members' Work Settings -Focus on Mediating Effects of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment- (사회복지조직구성원들의 근무환경에서 개인-직무부합이 조직일탈행동에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족과 조직몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of person-job fit on organizational deviance and mediating effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment(affective commitment and continuance commitment) on this relationship. Data were collected from 533 employees who were working in social welfare organizations by questionnaires. The result indicated that there were significantly positive relationships between person-job fit and job satisfaction or organizational commitment(affective commitment and continuance commitment). Also, there were significantly positive relationships between job satisfaction and affective commitment or continuance commitment. In addition, job satisfaction and affective commitment were negatively related to organizational deviance, and job satisfaction is more strongly related to organizational deviance than affective commitment. It was found that job satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between person-job fit and organizational commitment(affective commitment and continuance commitment) and affective commitment partially mediated the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational deviance. It was found that the person-job fit indirectly impacts organizational deviance though job satisfaction and affective commitment. Based on these results, the implication of this study and future research tasks were discussed.

Influence of Hanatour International Travel Show 2012 Visitors' Participation Attitude on the Satisfaction (2012 하나투어 여행박람회 방문객의 참가태도가 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the travel show visitors' cognitive and affective attitude on the psychological and visitor satisfaction and to use as an important data to make marketing strategy and improve a company's outcome. For this study, 240 visitors from Hanatour International Travel Show are selected. And 203 valid questionnaires are analyzed. The first result was that travel show visitors' cognitive attitude have a positive influence on the psychological and visitor satisfaction. The second result was that, travel show visitors' affective attitude have a positive influence on the psychological and visitor satisfaction. As a result, it is needed to recognize that participation attitude is a main cause which has an important influence on visitors' satisfaction. In addition, it is needed to establish strategy about active maketing activity to make visitor satisfaction move to positive activity purpose and to plan travel show which has differentiated items and contents.

Effects of Perceived Quality of TikTok on User Satisfaction and Continuance Intention: and the Role of Commercial Viability (틱톡(TikTok) 서비스에 대한 품질 인식이 이용자 만족과 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 영향과 상업성 인식의 효과)

  • This study examined how the quality of TikTok service affects user satisfaction and continuance intention. This study classified the quality of Tiktok service as service quality, information quality, and system quality, and examined the effect of each dimension on user satisfaction and continuous intention. In addition, the role of perceived commercial viability was also examined. In this study, we conduced an online survey on 237 Chinese TikTok users and analyzed the data with the SEM and a moderated regression analysis. Results are as follows. First, information quality and system quality are positively associated with user satisfaction. Second, information quality is positively associated with continuance intention. Third, user satisfaction fully mediates system quality and continuance intention, and it partially mediates information quality and continuance intention. Fourth, although user satisfaction is positively associated with continuance intention, commercial viability does not function as a moderating variable.

Correlations between Mindfulness and Life Satisfaction -Focused on Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Relationships- (마인풀니스와 삶의 만족 간의 관계 -대인관계능력의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the correlations among mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, and life satisfaction and to verify the mediating effect of the interpersonal relationships. Questionnaire survey measuring the mindfulness, the interpersonal relationships, and the life satisfaction was performed for 549 adult males and females. The research results by structural equation model to investigate the correlations among mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, and life satisfaction are as follows. First, mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, and life satisfaction steadily increase in accordance with the three stages of life: youth, early adults, middle and old age. Second, mindfulness has a significantly positive effect on interpersonal relationships and life satisfaction, and interpersonal relationships also has a significantly positive effect on life satisfaction. Third, interpersonal relationships has a significantly mediating effect between the relationships between mindfulness and life satisfaction. These results imply that various and active works are required to improve interpersonal relationships as well as mindfulness to enhance life satisfaction.

  • Purpose: This study examines how police's level of satisfaction over work environment influences on introduction of municipal police system and the purpose of this study is to examine the individual police's opinion by exploring the work satisfaction of police under current centralized police system and their level of expectation toward introduction of municipal police system. Method: To complete the research, this study used the survey data from in-service police and analyzed it based on regression analysis. Result: This study analyzed the influence of police's job satisfaction on expectation over introduction of municipal police system by dividing the police's job satisfaction into internal and external satisfaction. In the influence of police's job satisfaction on expectation toward physical environmental change, both internal and external satisfaction had significant negative influence. Conclusion: Thus, there should be a clear organization on municipal police and related items before introducing the system to gain trust from police.

The related factors of job satisfaction in care facilities for the aged (노인요양시설 직원의 직무만족 관련요인 -사회인구학적 특성과 시설특성을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to search the related factors of job satisfaction in care facilities for the aged in order to improve quality of service and to help management of care facilities. Data was collected from staff who agreed with informed consent of this study among care facilities for the aged. Subjects were 152 staff members from 29 care facilities. The research was conducted during six month. The major findings of this study are as follows. Firstly, in the job satisfaction of staffs according to demographic characteristics of subjects, it was found that the workers with longer work experience in current facilities had higher job satisfaction. Secondly, in the job satisfaction according to characteristics of care facilities, it was found that when staff's opinion was accepted or considered that job experience was higher. In Conclusion, to increase job satisfaction of care facilities for the aged, we should consider the above two points.

A Study on Job Satisfaction Level of Employees in Special Libraries by Institutional Characteristics and Personal Backgrounds (기관특성과 개인환경에 따른 전문도서관 직원의 직무만족도 연구)

  • This study aims to evaluate job satisfaction level of employees working at special libraries by analyzing their affiliated institution and personal backgrounds. Results indicated that the job satisfaction level in private institutions was higher for 'remuneration', 'promotion', and 'overall satisfaction' in comparison to public counterparts. Also, employees working at institutions with independent libraries had higher level of satisfaction for 'work itself', 'remuneration' and 'co-workers' in comparison to those working in non-independent libraries. In terms of employment status, satisfaction level for 'remuneration' and 'promotion' was high among permanent employees, whereas 'superior and supervisor' was relatively higher among temporary employees. In terms of position, supervisors had higher level of satisfaction for 'remuneration', 'job system', 'promotion' and 'overall satisfaction' in comparison to non-supervisors. Employees with degrees in library and information science had higher level of satisfaction for 'work itself', 'job system', 'promotion' and 'institutional environment' in comparison to non-majors. This study clarified desires and emotions of employees working at special libraries and eliminated obstacles to higher job satisfaction. These findings may have implications for the improvement of work efficiency in libraries.

The Influence of Subjective Cognition about Determinant Factors in Employment on Job Satisfaction (취업결정요인의 주관적 인지가 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to analyze the influence of subjective cognition about determinant factors in employment on job satisfaction, this study utilized The Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) 2010 Year and the subjects of this survey were 4,051 people who graduated from university. The results of this study were follows: First, subjective cognition about determinant factors in employment and job satisfaction were showed significant difference by gender, type of school, school location, major fields. Second, school in region, education major, the academic factor, the certification & major field factor, the personality & human connection factor were found to have positive(+) influence on the intrinsic satisfaction. Third, 2~3years college, school in region, social major, education major, technology major, natural major, medical major, academic factor, the certification & major field factor, the personality & human connection factor were found to have positive(+) influence on the extrinsic satisfaction. This study provides detailed analysis on subjective cognition about determinant factors in employment, offering new verification of work job satisfaction.
