A Study on the User Satisfaction of Public Library Users in Korea (우리나라 공공도서관의 이용자만족도에 관한 연구: 2010 공공도서관 운영 평가 이용자만족도 조사 결과를 중심으로)

  • This study examines user satisfaction in public libraries nationwide. It analyzes service quality factors that affect user satisfaction of public library patrons and identify sub-factors of service quality that affect the overall user satisfaction. User satisfaction factors were developed to measure library satisfaction in all aspects of the library service. Six variables were identified, including volume of books, staff, programs, facilities, online services, and information availability. According to survey findings, general library satisfaction was strongly correlated with information availability, facilities, and staff. Relatively lower levels of satisfaction were identified in the areas of online services and programs. All six service quality factors were statistically significantly associated with user satisfaction, where information availability, facilities, and volume of books showed stronger associations than the other three factors.

Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Physical Therapy Students (물리치료학과 학생들의 임상실습 만족도)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction of clinical practice for university students in the physical therapy department. 163 students participated in the study. The subjects completed an online survey that consisted of 36 clinical practice satisfaction questions and 5 questions of general characteristics. The collected data was analyzed by using frequency analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe post hoc analyses with a significant level of 0.05. The students' satisfaction of clinical practice was 3.84 in average on a scale of 5. The students' satisfaction was the highest for the item 'Satisfaction after clinical practice', and the lowest for the item 'Internal conflict in clinical practice' and 'Evaluation of clinical practice'. The students' satisfaction of clinical practice showed significant differences according to the satisfaction of the major (p<.001), however, no significant difference according to gender, grade, training period and practice institution.

  • An accurate feedback about customer satisfaction is a very important factor to efficiently manage achievements in the service industry. However, Korea is lack of quantitative and standardized system of customer satisfaction measurement. This paper suggests standardized survey system with more in-depth and various methods of questionnaire survey as well as analysis which is able to efficiently evaluate customer satisfaction. This system is that investigates customer satisfaction of process based services, which uses various methods including simply designed questionnaires, customer satisfaction survey via mobile, and an investigation on follow-up satisfaction rate. In addition, we adopted scoring system to digitize a degree of satisfaction rate, so the suggested system provides an opportunity to improve specific objects those need to be improved by clearly evaluating a degree of satisfaction rate and applying various analysis techniques, such as IPA (Importance Performance Analysis), process analysis, and expectation analysis etc. This study substantiates suggested system through applying it to travel agency which is a representative enterprise of tour service.

  • This study investigates the participants' perception and satisfaction score for culture and education programs operating in public libraries and culture & art centers in Daegu Metropolitan City. Attendees of the public libraries' programs have higher overall satisfaction, customer loyalty on the contents of the program and lecturers than those of the culture & art centers' programs. Attendees of the culture & art centers' programs rated staff supports and services, facilities and educational equipments higher than those in the public libraries' programs. This study calculates the LCSI score in public libraries(78.02) and culture & art centers(77.22).

Dietary Habits and Foodservice Attitudes of Students Attending American International Schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi Area (서울.경기지역 외국인 학교 학생들의 식습관 및 급식만족도 -미국계 외국인 학교를 중심으로-)

  • This study was designed to obtain basic data for the globalization of Korean food and the expansion of food exports through contract foodservices. A survey of dietary habits and attitudes toward school foodservices was given to students in three American international schools served by a domestic contract foodservice management company located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The results showed an average of three meals taken daily 3.39 times for male students and 2.95 times for female students and the time required for a meal was about 24~26 minutes. The average breakfast frequency was 5.10 times(4.59 times for male students and 5.35 times for female students) and many students reported skipping breakfast due to a lack of time. The average weekly frequency of dining out was 1.78 times(2.15 times for male students and 1.60 times for female students). In all schools, irrespective of gender and grade, students responded that a desire for snacking was 'why they want to have cookies', and snacking hours were frequently listed as 'between noon and evening'. Many also responded that an unbalanced diet is the reason some snacks are 'not to their taste'. Overall, students were highly satisfied with the foodservice menu, although there was a significant difference in what was considered proper food temperature, proper food seasoning, suitable amounts of food, and freshness of food. Male and female students were specifically highly satisfied with the 'freshness of food materials' and 'variety of menu' respectively. Overall, all students were highly satisfied with the foodservice, including the 'cleanliness of tables and trays'.

상대적 경제수준이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 경제관련 수준이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국노동패널조사(KLIPS)자료 중 4,294가구 10,553명을 대상으로 지역에 따른 경제관련 변인들의 차이를 분산분석을 통해 알아보았고, 단순한 경제수준 변인이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향과 경제수준을 지역에 따라 표준점수(Z-score)로 환산한 변인이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석을 통해 비교하였다. 연구 결과 단순한 경제수준보다는 표준점수로 환산된 상대적 경제수준이 더 큰 설명력을 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 일정부분 생활만족도에 정적 영향을 줄 것으로 기대되었던 소득과 지출, 저축 둥 경제수준 관련 변인들이 일관되게 부적 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 가구지출 기준 상위집단과 하위집단에서 동일하게 나타났다. 한 편 상위집단과 하위집단에서의 소득 관련 변인들의 영향력이 일부 상이하게 나타났는데, 상위집단에서는 전년도의 소득이 부적으로 더 근 영향력을 갖는 반면에 하위집단에서는 전월의 소득이 부적으로 더 큰 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타나 하위집단의 소득 불안정이 생활만족도에 영향을 주고 있음을 시사하였다.

Latent Profile Analysis Method Application in the Job Satisfaction Types and Predictive Factors of Social Welfare Institution Workers (잠재프로파일 분석방법 적용을 통한 사회복지시설 종사자의 직무만족도 유형과 예측요인)

  • 본 연구에서는 사회복지시설 종사사의 직무만족도 유형을 살펴보고 유형별 예측변인과의 영향관계를 검증하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 검증하기 위해 보건복지부의 '사회복지시설 실태조사'(2014년) 데이터에서 직무만족도 변인에 모두 응답한 11,660명을 최종 분석하였다. 잠재프로파일 분석결과, 사회복지사의 직무만족도 유형은 4집단으로 나타나 '최상 직무만족도집단', '중상 직무만족도집단', '중간 직무만족도집단', '최하 직무만족도집단'으로 명명하였다. 다항로지스틱 분석결과, CLASS4(최상 직무만족도집단)를 준거집단으로 하여 CLASS1(최하 직무만족도집단)과 비교해 노동강도대비 보수수준 평가, 타직종대비 보수수준 평가, 시설안전도, 인권보장도를 높게 인식할수록 CLASS4(최상 직무만족도집단)에 속할 확률이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 이직의사는 낮을수록 CLASS4(최상 직무만족도집단)에 속할 확률이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. CLASS4를 준거집단으로 하여 CLASS2집단, CLASS3집단도 비교분석 하였다.

Relationship Between Organizational Conflict and Job Satisfaction in Administrative Staff of University Hospitals (대학병원 행정직 종사자들의 조직갈등과 직무만족도와의 관련성)

  • This study determined the relationship between organizational conflicts and job satisfaction of administrative staff members employed in university hospitals. The sample consisted of 232 hospital administrators working at four different college hospitals located in D city. The survey was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire during the period from January 10th 2019 to February 15th 2019. As a result of the study, the job satisfaction levels were significantly different according to age, education, BMI, subjective sleep evaluation, subjective health status, job position, monthly income, physical burden of work, sense of satisfaction at work, fit to the job and consideration to quit the job. The job satisfaction levels according to the organizational conflicts were significantly lower with higher organizational conflicts. Further, the job satisfaction level showed a significant negative correlation with organizational conflicts. The risk ratio of lower job satisfaction significantly increased for the group with higher organizational conflict scores than that of the group with lower organizational conflict scores. The results suggest that job satisfaction of administrative staff at university hospitals is significantly related with organizational conflicts. It is necessary to present specific measures to resolve conflicts within an organization in order to enhance job satisfaction for administrative staff at university hospitals.

Importance-Satisfaction and Usage of Traditional Market Foods of Undergraduate Students in Jeonbuk Area (전북 일부 지역 대학생들의 전통시장 음식 이용 현황 및 중요도-만족도 분석)

  • The aim of this paper was to provide basic data on revitalizing traditional markets in 389 undergraduate students who had purchased foods sold at a traditional market in order to understand the current state of usage of traditional market foods and to analyze degree of importance and satisfaction. From September 2015 to November 2015, questionnaires were filled out by respondents. Of the 389 questionnaires that were returned, 343 were used while 46 were discarded as incomplete. In the traditional market, high popularity was detected in foods such as 'Hotteok', 'stir-fried rice cake', 'Korean sausage', and so on in that order, which were mainly simple foods. There was a tendency that 'taste', 'hygiene', 'price', and 'quality' were considered as important, all of which scored more than 4 points for all residence types. In the difference analysis of the degree of satisfaction and importance in traditional market foods according to residence types, degree of importance was much higher than that of satisfaction for all selective attributes. In the results of ISA analysis for attributes of traditional market foods, those selling food in the second quadrant need to make more effort to improve 'hygiene' and 'quality' of food.

Comparison of Time Management Behavior, Life Satisfaction between Gifted Middle School Students and General Students, and Relationship between the Time Management Behaviors and Life Satisfaction (중학교 영재학생과 일반학생의 시간관리 행동, 생활만족도 비교 및 시간관리 행동과 생활만족도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the time management behaviors and life satisfaction of gifted students and general students, and to investigate relationships between the time management and the life satisfaction. For this study, 104 gifted middle school students and 203 regular middle school students in Kyunggi Province were participated. The results of this study were as follows.; First, there was significant difference in the time management behaviors between gifted students and general students. Analyzing by independent samples t-test showed that gifted students' time management behaviors showed significantly higher than that of general students'. There was no gender difference in gifted students' time management behaviors. However, there was a significant gender difference in general students. The interaction effect between the group and the gender did not appear. Second, there was significant difference in the life satisfaction between gifted students and general students. Analyzing by independent samples t-test showed that gifted students' life satisfaction showed significantly higher than that of general students'. There was no gender difference in both groups. The interaction effect between the group and the gender did not appear. Third, investigating the relationship between time management behaviors and life satisfaction of gifted students and general students, the results showed significantly positive correlations in both groups. Regression analysis was performed to investigate the impact of time management behaviors on life satisfaction, and it showed that time management behavior affects significantly on life satisfaction.
