COVID-19 발병과 장기화로 장시간 마스크 착용으로 인한 피부 트러블 발생으로 셀프 스킨케어에 관심이 급속도로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 시장의 변화에 대응하고자 맞춤형 홈 뷰티 케어 디바이스의 제품디자인을 그 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구자는 디자인씽킹 프로세스 중 더블다이아몬드 모델을 적용하여 발견, 정의, 발전, 전달 단계 순으로 디자인 개발을 진행하였다. 1단계 발견에서는 사전 조사를 통해 도출된 3가지 제품 컨셉 평가와 함께 소비자의 니즈를 파악하기 위해 집단심층면접을 진행하였다. 2단계 정의에서는 제품 컨셉과 디자인 방향성을 설정하였고, 적정성 평가를 진행하였다. 3단계 발전에서는 맞춤형 서비스를 위한 피부 상태 측정 간소화 및 케어 솔루션을 제시하여 제품 컨셉을 정교화 하였다. 그리고, 유니버설 스케일 적용을 위해 한국인 인체측정데이터를 분석하여 추출된 대표 치수를 적용하여 디자인 시안을 제시하였다. 4단계 전달에서는 시안들에 대해 소비자 평가를 시행하여 문제점을 보완하여 최종 시안을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 스타일링 중심의 디자인 프로세스가 아닌 디자인씽킹 프로세스를 융합해 사용자 중심의 디자인 개발에 중점을 두었고, 측정 데이터 기반으로 한 정보들을 활용한 디자인 개발에 새로운 가능성을 제시했다는 의의를 지니고 있다.

본 논문에서는 시스템 수준 설계 언어인 SystemC를 이용하여 디지털 이미지 프로세싱의 한 부분인 Edge Detector 구현에 대하여 기술한다. Edge Detector는 마스크의 가운데 픽셀을 강조하는 Sobel 알고리즘을 사용하여 모델링 하였으며, 설계된 디자인의 동작은 간단한 BMP 파일을 적용하여 검증하였다. 또한 Edge Detector를 구성하는 하위 모듈들 간의 연결을 각각 sc_buffer 채널과 so_fifo 채널을 이용하여 설계하였을 때의 실행시간을 비교하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine various types and characteristics of masks and to consider what meanings they have in the recent fashion world. To this end, this study attempts to reflect on the internal meaning of masks exhibited in fashion designers' collections rather than functional meanings. It has an implication; in that it tries to help understand the expressive needs for variety and freshness pursued by modern fashion and use the unique design development to understand the internal meanings of masks. It, therefore, examines the existing domestic and foreign literature and data about masks from a theoretical perspective, and also attempts to draw findings from the data of fashion collections which have been held since the 2000s, as well as from literature research based on books about fashion and various other media. The meanings of masks in the field of fashion are as follows: First, they express identity, by criticizing the couture fashion, through the fashion. Second, they present a new concept of body, showing an illogical and ambiguous identity in which both feminine and masculine images coexist. Third, they are media externally communicating insights about human beings' inner world, through which various messages are transferred to modern people who are attached to external appearances, and the identities possessed by designers are revealed by the masks. Fourth, they ask about a boundary between gender and sexuality, as a means to make us concentrate on the important social issue, while expressing various and new identities, like the hybrid identity. In other words, they can be found to be used as effective media in communicating fashion massages intended by fashion experimental and creative designers.

Based on five types of health KF masks currently being commercialized, this study analyzed results of a survey of 316 male and female college students with experience in wearing health masks in Seoul metropolitan area. By identifying problems and improvement requirements according to current status of wearing health masks, results of this study could be used as basic data for designing ergonomic health mask with improved ease of wearing and satisfaction for human safety protection in the future. SPSS 26.0 statistical program was used for all data analyses, including post-hoc test, χ² test for cross-analysis, frequency analysis, independent samples t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan test. Considering that masks are worn for more than 8 hours a day on average, it is necessary to design masks considering materials, sizes of mask ear straps, elasticity and thickness of straps. The design should minimize contact with lips and cheeks with improved fit and comfort, blocking performance, and aesthetics. According to this survey, nearly 50% of respondents said they were willing to wear masks even after the end of COVID-19. Thus, it is necessary to perform research and improve masks to have excellent colors, designs, shapes, fit, and functions suitable for both pandemic and post-pandemic era when wearing masks is common.

산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국생산기술연구원이 주관하는 "제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상"시상식이 4월 26일 일산 킨텍스 그랜드볼룸에서 열렸다. 정부포상제도는 미래지식산업인 패키징산업 종사자의 긍지와 자부심 함양의 계기를 실천하고, 패키징산업 종사자의 사기진작과 패키징산업 활성화를 도모하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 한국국제포장기자재전(KOREA PACK)과의 동시개최로 패키징산업 종사자간 정보교류 극대화 및 공동체 의식 함양으로 일체감을 조성함은 물론, 패키징산업 기술인의 기술개발 의욕을 고취한다는 평가를 받고 있다. 제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 시상식에서는 코리아스타상 기업부문, 학생부문, 공로부문으로 구분하여 시상이 진행됐다. 기업부문은 패키징 완제품, 친환경패키징, 패키징관련기계(설비) 및 관련부품, 패키징인쇄(라벨링), 패키징원부자재 생산 및 가공공정, 패키징디자인 등의 분야에서 신기술 개발 또는 개선으로 수출 신장, 매출 수익 증대 및 발명특허 획득을 통해 패키징 기술력 발전에 기여한 기업의 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 진행되고 있으며 학생부문은 패키징 디자인 관련분야 전공자로 패키징과 연관된 컨셉으로 상품성, 창의성, 표현성, 친환경성, 지속가능성 등이 어우러진 독창적인 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 한다. 또한 공로부문은 패키징 산업 관련 산업계, 학계, 연구계, 유관기관에 종사하는 자로서 패키징 관련 핵심 기술개발, 경영, 마케팅 면에서 패키징 산업 발전에 기여한 공적이 뚜렷한 자, 패키징산업발전 정책연구 및 패키징산업 육성에 기여한 기업 또는 개인을 대상으로 하고 있다. 이번 행사에서는 기업부문 29개 제품과, 학생 14명, 공로 2명에 대한 포상이 진행, 국무총리상에는 (주)더우주의 '우주 페이스 마스크(OOZOO FACE MASK)'가 수상했으며, 산업통상자원부장관상에는 현대글로비스(주)외 2개사, 한국생산기술연구원장상에는 (주)풀무원 외 10개사가 수상했다. 학생부문에서는 안양대학교가 산업통상자원부장관상을 수상했다. 공로부문으로 진행된 시상식에서는 서영철 Flair Flexible Packaging 대표이사와 이명훈 한국포장시스템연구소장이 산업통상자원부장관 표창을 받았다. 본 고에서는 제10회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 수상작들을 살펴봄으로써 최신 패키징 경향에 대해 알아보도록 한다.

This paper aimed at the development of face covers which is face protection articles for blocking UV rays and yellow sands, with a view to assist the further activation of outdoor life. The four-stage design process of field study, design, design evaluation, final selection of designs was set up for the effective product development. Field study included on-line and off-line market survey on the products for sale in market and observation on those wearing face covers. Depth interviews were done to know consumer understandings and satisfaction levels for current face covers. The results of market survey showed that most of the face covers currently in the market were mask types, which were produced for the blocking of dust and yellow sands rather than UV ray protection. The major clients of the mask were the women in their 30's-50's and the designs for these clients were very limited. Since the number of younger women and men enjoy the outdoor sports has increased, the face covers for these people should be developed. For this purpose, the direction of new face cover design had 2 points: diversification of design in terms of color, material, shape and giving seasonal differences. 12 designs were designed on the first design stage, but after both wearing test by 16 testees and UV ray blocking test to evaluate these designs, 6 face cover designs were finally selected.

본 논문에서는 텍스처 합성을 할 때 CNN을 사용하여 효율성을 높이고 방향을 고려하여 동적인 결과로 품질을 개선시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 자유로운 회전 각도로 방향성을 고려하여 동적인 결과물을 생성할 수 있도록 하였으며, 기존 접근법인 사각형 형태의 마스크 블록이 아닌 다양한 회전 각도를 고려하여 학습을 했기 때문에 텍스처 합성 과정에서 방향성 특징을 좀 더 잘 표현할 수 있다.

본 연구는 광원 중 낮은 출력의 미용기기용 LED 마스크의 모공, 주름, 피지 등 피부상태변화를 측정·비교하여 피부상태 개선에 대한 구체적인 효과를 수치적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 18명(통제군 4주, 실험군 4주)의 건강한 여성을 대상으로 매주 1회, 8주간 진행하였다. 모공, 주름, 피지의 피부상태 측정결과, LED 조사가 진행될수록 유의적으로 피부상태가 개선됨을 확인하였으며, 실험군과 대조군의 측정 시기별 집단 간 차이에서도 모공, 주름, 피지 모두 유의하게 나타났다(p<.001, p<.05). 이는 미용기기로서의 LED 마스크 개선 효과를 입증함으로써 학술적 의미에서 연속자료의 마련으로 임상정보와 양적자료로 제시될 수 있음에 의의가 있다. 또한 향 후, 더 많은 피부개선 효과를 입증하는 후속 연구가 이루어지기를 제언하는 바이다.

This study aims to design a new sizing system for hygienic masks to protect against COVID-19-related respiratory disorders. The product sizes were collected from 70 commercially available hygienic masks, and 18 head measurements were obtained from the three-dimensional (3D) scan data of 2,048 men and women aged 20 to 69 years from the 6th Size Korea Survey. The statistical analysis was performed using the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 28.0 program. The "bitragion-subnasale arc" and "menton-sellion length" were chosen as the key body dimensions for the hygienic mask sizing system. The linear regressions with 18 3D head measurements were analyzed, and it was determined that the key body dimensions were useful for statistically predicting other 3D head measurements related to hygienic masks. A new sizing system was proposed for two types of masks, "masks with a tight fit" and "masks with a loose fit," taking into account the existing Korean Industrial Standards (KS) and the shortcomings of the sizes of hygienic masks on the market. The sizing system for tight-fitting masks consisted of the key body dimensions, with their sizes indicated by a pair of numbers. The sizing system for loose-fitting masks consisted solely of the bitragion-subnasale arc, with their sizes denoted by letters such as S, M, and L (denoting small, medium, and large, respectively). Future studies should consider this mask sizing system for different age groups, such as children and adolescents.

어린이의 치과 치료시 행동조절에 도움이 되고자 치료를 위해 내원한 어린이 환자 150명을 대상으로 치과의사의 의상에 대해 설문조사를 시행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 가운과 일상복에 대한 선호도 조사에서는 성별(P<0.05), 연령(P<0.05), 거주지(P<0.05), 내원 횟수(P<0.05)에서 가운에 대한 선호도(65.3%)가 높았다. 2. 가운의 종류와 가운의 속의 복장에 대한 선호도는 긴 가운에 와이셔츠(30.7%), 양복형 가운에 와이셔츠(18.7%), 긴 가운에 폴로셔츠(17.3%) 순으로 나타났다. 3. 가운의 색에 대한 선호도는 흰색(34.7%), 분홍색(18.7%), 초록색(18.0%), 파랑색(15.3%), 노랑색(13.3%) 순으로 나타났다. 4. 가운의 무늬에 대한 선호도는 만화 캐릭터(49.3%), 병원로고(28.7%), 민무늬(14.7%) 순으로 나타났다. 5. 여자 치과의사의 일상복에 대한 선호도는 폴로셔츠(37.3%), 줄무늬셔츠(28.7%), 라운드티셔츠(18.7%), 개량한복(15.3%) 순으로 나타났다. 6. 남자 치과의사의 일상복에 대한 선호도순서는 무늬넥타이에 민무늬 와이셔츠(28.0%), 민무늬 넥타이에 와이셔츠와 넥타이 없이 무늬셔츠(21.3%), 넥타이 없이 민무늬 와이셔츠(14.7%)순으로 나타나났다. 7. 보호장비 착용에 대한 선호도 조사는 마스크와 글러브(28.7%), 장비 없음(26.7%), 마스크와 글러브와 보안경(22.7%), 마스크만 착용(22.0%) 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 어린이 환자의 치과 치료시, 심리적 안정감을 주기 위해서는 흰색의 획일적인 가운에서 벗어나 다양한 색채와 형태로 디자인된 치과의사의 복장이 어린이에게 친근감을 주어 행동조절에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
