콘크리트 충진 베드를 적용한 초정밀 무심 연삭기의 구조 특성 해석

  • 원통 연삭기(cylindrical grinding machine)는 원통형 공작물을 센터나 척으로 지지하면서 연삭 공정을 수행하기 때문에 연속적인 작업이 어렵지만, 무심 연삭기(centerless grinding machine)는 원통형 공작물을 받침판으로 지지하면서 연삭 숫돌(grinding wheel)과 조정 숫돌(regulating wheel)로 연삭 공정과 축방향 이송을 동시에 수행하기 때문에 연속적인 작업이 가능하다. 특히 고정밀 부품을 작업자의 숙련도와 무관하게 고능률적으로 가공할 수 있는 무심 연삭기는 구름 베어링, 축, 피스톤 핀 등과 같은 고정밀 기계류 부품들을 대량 연삭하기 위한 용도로 많이 사용되어 왔다.(중략)

  • 본 논문은 수치 해석적 연산을 통해 자계결합형 무선전력전송 시스템의 자계결합계수의 연산 방법을 제안하였다. 한 변의 길이가 각각 20cm, 10cm인 정사각 루프타입 공진기 간의 자계 결합계수를 산출하고, 이를 시뮬레이션을 통해 추출된 값과 비교하여 제안된 연산 방법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통연계 인버터가 액티프 파워 필터로 동작할 때 비선형부하에 의해 발생하는 고조파를 보상하는 제어기 설계에 대해 다룬다. 고조파 보상 기능을 포함하는 계통연계형 인버터의 제어기는 PR제어기 기반의 멀티루프 전류제어기를 사용한다. 각각의 제어기는 시스템 특성 및 안정도를 고려하여 설계되고 시뮬레이션 및 실험으로 타당성을 입증한다.

Folded Loop Antennas for RFID Appilication (RFID 응용을 위한 폴디드-루프 안테나)

  • In this paper, we examined the operating principle of a passive tag antenna for RFID system in UHF band. Based on the study, we proposed a novel RFID tag antenna which adopts the inductively coupled feeding structure to match antenna impedance to a capacitively loaded commercial tag chip. The proposed tag antenna consists of microstrip lines on a thin PET substrate for low-cost fabrication. The detail structure of the tag antenna were optimized using a full electromagnetic wave simulator of IE3D in conjunction with a Pareto genetic algorithm, and the size of the tag antenna can be reduced up to kr=0.27(2 cm2). We built some sample antennas and measured the antenna characteristics such as a return loss, an efficiency, and radiation patterns. The readable range of the tag antenna with a commercial RFID system showed about 1 to 3 m.

  • Loop thermosyphon(LTS) has many good characteristics such as low thermal resistance, no power consumption, noiseless operation and small size. To investigate the overall performance of LTS, we have performed various experiments varying three parameters: input power of the heater, working fluid(water, ethanol, FC3283) and filling ratio of the working fluid. At a combination of these parameters, temperature measurements are made at many locations of the LTS. The temperature difference between the evaporator and the condenser is used to obtain the thermal resistance. In addition, flow visualization using a high speed camera is carried out. The thermal resistance is not constant. It is lower at higher input power, which is one of the distinct merits of LTS. Flow instabilities are frequently observed when changing the working fluid, the input power and the filling ratio. The results show that the LTS can be readily put into practical use. Future practical application in electronic cooling is recommended.

  • 대용량 계통연계형 인버터에서 필터의 사이즈와 가격을 줄이고, 빠른 동적 특성을 얻기 위해서 LCL필터가 많이 사용된다. LCL필터 설계 시에 계통으로 유입되는 고조파 전류를 제한하는 것이 주된 목적이지만, LCL필터가 가지는 공진 특성 또한 고려되어야 한다. 그리고 인버터 전류 피드백으로 전류 제어 루프를 구성하는 경우와는 달리 계통 전류 피드백으로 인버터의 전류 제어 루프를 구성하게 되면 전자보다 더 안정적인 운전영역을 확보하게 된다. 하지만 이러한 운전영역 또한 LCL필터를 어떻게 설계하느냐에 따라 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 계통전류의 고조파 제한과 함께 전류제어기의 안정성을 고려한 LCL필터 설계 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 설계 기법을 통해서 얻어진 결과를 7.5kW급 계통연계형 인버터 시작품을 통해서 검증하였다.

Study on Sound Reflection Control using an Active Sound Absorber (능동흡음재를 이용한 음파반사 제어기법 연구)

  • This paper reviews a study about sound reflection control using an active sound absorber. An active sound absorber includes sound transmitting and receiving piezocomposite sensor layers molded by water tight epoxy, and connected with a feedback controller. The multi-layer sensors and the controller consists a closed feedback loop, whose intrinsic characteristics shows excellent impedance matching performance within specified frequency band, and consequently, minimizes reflection waves. Multilayer sound transmission model is derived based on one dimensional model, and its performance is verified with experiment using a pulse tube setup.

  • The IHX (intermediate heat exchanger) is a key component of nuclear hydrogen systems for the production of massive amounts hydrogen. The IHX transfers the $950^{\circ}C$ heat generated by the VHTR (very high temperature reactor) to a hydrogen production plant. The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute established a small-scale gas loop to test the performance of key VHTR components and manufactured a small-scale PCHE (printed circuit heat exchanger) prototype, which is being considered as a candidate for the IHX, for testing in the small-scale gas loop. In this study, as a part of the high-temperature structural integrity evaluation of the small-scale PCHE prototype, we carried out high-temperature structural analysis modeling and macroscopic thermal and structural analysis for the small-scale PCHE prototype under the small-scale gas loop test conditions. This analysis serves as a precedent study to scheduled PCHE performance test in the small-scale gas loop. The results obtained in this study will be compared with the test results for the small-scale PCHE and then used to design the medium-scale PCHE prototype.

Fabrication of tunable all-fiber feedback laser and its application (파장가변이 가능한 완전 광섬유형 궤환 레이저 구현 및 응용)

  • In this paper, a tunable fiber feedback laser based on the use of Sagnac loop filter and fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is proposed. The Sagnac loop filter using a high birefringence fiber provides precise 0.33-nm channel spacing as a multi-wavelength grid filter. Ni-Cr wire wound on the FBG is useful to induce the thermo-optic effect of the fiber. Two types of FBG structures, which have a different length of wire, are demonstrated to show the wavelength shift and separation. To tune FBG by resistant heat, some current is supplied into the wire. When the wavelength matched with one of the cavity modes of Sagnac loop filter, the mode-locked lasing is occurred. The electrical power sensitivity of the resonant wavelength is measured to 1.75pm/mW. This laser configuration can be applied the electrical power system for monitoring the power fluctuation.
