  • 일반적으로 차실 음향 공동과 차체 팬널이 연성이 되는 계에 대한 소음 연성해석을 위한 해석 모델은 팬널과 공동이 직접적으로 연성이 되는 것으로 모델링되었다. 그러나 루프와 같은 팬널이 차실과 연성이 되는 경우, 루프의 진동은 차실에 직접적으로 전달되지 않고 루프 하단에 존재하는 갭과 내장판을 통하여 차실 소음에 영향을 미친다. 루프와 내장재 사이에 있는 갭의 매질은 주로 공기 도는 흡음재이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 음향 구조 연성계를 이론적으로 해석 가능한 1차원 모델로 근사화하여 갭의 간격, 갭의 매질 특성, 내장재의 물성치 등의 변화에 따른 공동 내의 음향 응답 특성을 알아보고자 한다. 또한 위 결과를 에어갭을 고려한 3차원 차실 모델에 적용하고, 1/2 차실 모델에 대한 실험을 통하여 에어갭과 내장재의 효과를 검증한다.

  • Automobile sunroof buffeting is the tonal noise of low frequency around 20Hz. It occurs due to the acoustic feedback process between the shear layer detached from the leading edge of sunroof opening and the Helmholtz resonator-like property of a car cabin. In this paper, PIV visualization technique is applied to the unsteady flow field around sunroof opening of an SUV in the full-scale automotive wind tunnel in order to find out buffeting mechanism. A phase-marking PIV measurement method, in which image and sound pressure are recorded simultaneously, and a phase-rearrangement post-processing program were developed for capturing noise-related velocity fields without expensive synchronization systems. Through this study, some characteristics of the real-car sunroof shear layers under various deflector conditions were identified and these results can provide insights into the noise reduction mechanism of the tube-type deflector.

  • The best sunroof wind noise quality is mainly related to the sunroof deflector which affects both low-speed buffeting and high-speed aerodynamic noise. An automatic deflector-moving and noise-measuring apparatus is developed to obtain hundreds of measuring data which haven't been available by hand. With an additional program for fast and easy noise analysis, this device leads quickly to the better position and angle of the deflector. Now, the 'better' means the lower noise level and the robuster design solution. From these kinds of better solutions, more meaningful guidelines on the deflector design and sunroof wind noise reduction can be suggested.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new design approach for self-sustained resonant accelerometer, that takes advantage of the automatic gain control (AGC) loop to achieve a stabilized oscillation dynamics. Fundamental idea of this accelerometer is to maintain uniform amplitude of oscillation under input accelerations. Through system modeling and loop transformation considering the envelope of oscillation, the controller is designed to maintain uniform amplitude in oscillation under dynamic input acceleration. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed accelerometer design, which is applicable to control grade inertial measurement system in industrial and civil application fields.

  • 본 연구에서 얻어진 주된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 모달필터의 오차로 인해 모달상태 추정에 오차가 발생할 때, 폐루프 진동제어계가 Lyapunov 점근 안정성을 갖기 위한 필요충분 조건식(26)을 유도하였다. 2) 모달필터의 오차가 클수록 폐루프 진동제어계의 안정성은 점점 나빠지게 된다. 3) 모달필터의 오차 .DELTA.D가 존재할 때, L$_{\infty}$-놈 이론을 적용하여 진동제어 응답성능의 오차의 상한, 식(32)를 유도하였다. 4) 응답성능 오차의 상한은 모달필터 오차 .DELTA.D의 크기에 비례하고 있으며, 비례계수는 모달공간에서의 제어기법이 종류에 따라 다르다.

  • This paper presents a benchmark test result of an application of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) analysis of automotive sunroof buffeting simulation. Computational analyses of flow over an open sunroof of a simple vehicle model called as HAWT(Hyundai aeroacoustic wind tunnel) model were performed to study the buffeting phenomenon and to predict the buffeting noise level and its frequency. Computations are performed for sunroofs with PAM-FLOW software which is one of powerful CFD code of ESI group. Numerical predictions are compared with result from the tunnel test measurements. It is shown that CFD analysis has great potential for sunroof design and development by predicting buffeting noise.

  • Hybrid method is used to suppress vibration of an automotive roof surface. The hybrid method proposed in this paper is implemented experimentally using both viscoelastic and piezoelectric material. The piezoelectric material is used to control the vibration of automotive structure for lower range of frequencies and the experiment of vibration control using viscoelastic material has been carried out suppress vibrations of high frequency range mark. At first the plate controlled by using hybrid method has been .implemented to verify the performance for suppressing vibration. Then the experiment has been applied to the automotive roof structure.

  • If the vibration is occurred in a large-sized bus roof, it makes people annoying and complaining the quality of a large-sized bus. So in design stage, it must be considered. To assess vibration at the roof which is equipped with air conditioner in design stage, finite element model is constructed. Computer simulation analysis and experimental method are performed. The dynamic characteristics of the large-sized bus are found by using eigenvalue method. It is related with dynamic behavior. The running conditions of a large-sized bus are velocity and road condition which followed experimental conditions. And the frequency response of a large-sized bus is well correlated with analysis result. Modal participation method is used for finding major modes at each peak. Using this method, we found that front and rear suspension system, engine mounting system and roof structure are the major reasons of the roof vibration. To reduce vibration level of roof in a large-sized bus, spring stiffness of front and rear suspension system, spring stiffness of engine mounting system and roof structure are properly combined. From this study, the vibration characteristics of the roof structure of a large-sized bus can be to a satisfactory level.
