3세대 이동통신으로 알려져 있는 IMT-2000사업이 당초보다 늦어질 전망이다. 이는 NTT 도코모가 3세대 이동통신 서비스를 4개월 연기 방침을 발표함에 따른 것이다. NTT 도코모는 세계최초로 3세대(IMT-2000) 이동통신서비스를 제공할 업체로 주목을 받아 왔다. 특히 동기식과 비동기식간의 표준경쟁이 가속화되고 있는 상황에서 NTT도코모의 비동기식 방식의 성공 가늠자로 인식되어 왔다.

It is difficult to crack down on emissions of air pollutants because it is quickly spreading into the atmosphere different from the other contaminants. We need improvement in the law for aggressive air pollution act because of difficult sampling.We study the measurement method which can measure the air pollutants and grasp the degree of contamination for preventing in advance the air pollution in this paper. We design and implement a module of mobile device for measuring Turbidity of plume with DOM in the way to take a photo in a convenient smart phone.

Environmental qualification is required for safety related electrical equipment under harsh environments located in nuclear power plants according to 10 CFR 50.49 and RG 1.89. As analog technology has recently been replaced by digital technology, NRC established RG 1.209 as a regulatory guideline for environmental qualification of safety related computer-based I&C system located in mild environments, requiring evaluation for electromagnetic compatibility, smoke exposure and type test for actual service conditions such as temperature and humidity. In this paper, the trend of environmental qualification for digital equipment is analyzed by comparing the environmental qualification requirements between digital and analog equipment.

In digital contents industry there is a high demand to convincingly mimic the appearance and behavior of natural phenomena such as smoke, waterfall, rain, and fire. Particle systems are methods adequate for modeling fuzzy objects of natural phenomena. It is clear which parameter of which action in a particular effect should be modified for a particular visual result. The generator is usable for offline animation and for real-time special effects in digital contents and virtual reality. The application programmer is able to specify different accuracy needs for different effects. This paper design special effect generator for make low-price and high-quality digital contents in reflection industry and virtual reality applications.

흥행의 귀재 스티븐 스필버그가 오랜 동료 로버트 저메키스와 함께 제작한 애니메이션 <몬스터 하우스>는 제목 그대로 집 자체가 괴물인 영화다. 집 창문이 야수의 눈처럼 이글거리고, 양탄자가 혓바닥이 되어 세상의 모든 것을 집어삼킨다. <몬스터 하우스>는 그렇게 낯선 폐가가 주는공포를 기발한 상상력으로 완성해낸다. 특히 배우들의 움직임과 표정을 세밀하게 포착한 퍼포먼스 캡처기술을 사용해 마치 실사와 같은 테크닉을 발휘하며 작품속에 몰입하게 만든다. 메가폰은 스필버그가 발탁했다는 신인 감독 길캐넌이 잡았고, 각본은 <유령신부>의 파멜라페틀러가 썼다. 다양한표정연기를 선보이는 캐릭터들이 선사하는 유머와 공포를담은<몬스터하우스>의매력을 되짚어본다.

명세서, 청구서, DM을 포함한 우편 인쇄물을 기반으로 트랜잭션(Transaction) 인쇄시장의 진화가 계속되고 있다. 트랜잭션 인쇄시장은 디지털 인쇄시스템이 가변데이터를 응용할 수 있는 장점을 적절히 활용하며, 기존 오프셋 물량을 대체하는 1차 변화를 겪었다. 변화는 연기서 그치지 않았다. 가변데이터 적용이라는 1차원적인 변화를 넘어 마케팅 개념을 도입한 스마트한 트랜스프로모(Transpromo)로 질적 변환하고 있기 때문이다. 보유한 데이터베이스를 활용해 대상자에 필요저오를 1:1로 제공하는 타깃마케팅이 트랜스프로모의 이름으로 실현되고 있는 것이다.

더스틴 호프만이 아서 밀러의 대표작 '세일즈맨의 죽음'의 주인공 윌리 로먼 역할을 연기하는 것을 보면서 목이 메였던 적이 있다. 그 당시 내 남편과 아버지, 그리고 아들은 세일즈 맨이었다. 다행이도 내인생과 결부되어 있는 남자들은 불운했던 윌리로먼 보다는 훨씬 일을 잘 해냈다. 그러나 주문을 따내지 못하거나 결코 얘기해 준적이 없는 어떤 것에 대해 이제 막 알게되어 낙심하여 집으로 돌아오는, 지친 세일즈맨의 그 모습만은 유감스럽게도 너무나 흡사했다. 고객을 끌어들이고 끌어들인 고객을 유지한다는 근본 목표를 달성하고자 하는 오늘날의 외판원들은 윌리로먼이 알지 못했던 기술적 지원을 받을수 있다.

In this study, reduced-scale experiments were conducted to understand smoke movements in tunnel fires with the natural ventilation. The 1/20 scale experiments were conducted under the Froude scaling since the smoke movement in tunnels is governed by buoyancy force. Three cases of experiments, in which a natural vent location varied from 1 m, 2 m and 3 m from the fire source symmetrically, were conducted in order to evaluate the effect of the position of ventilation systems on smoke movement. In case of a poo1 whose diameter is 4.36 cm, the temperature of smoke layer passed through the vent was maintained 7~$8^{\circ}c$ less than that of smoke layer without a vent. In case of a pool whose diameter is 5.23 cm, the average velocity passed through the vent was decreased when it was close to the fire source. And the maximum delay time was 3.86s. In CASE 1, the ceiling temperature was decreased by approximately 8$^{\circ}C$ and the vertical temperature was decreased by approximately $7^{\circ}c$. In CASE 2, both ceiling and vertical temperature wert decreased by $3^{\circ}c$ and in CASE 3, they were decreased by $2^{\circ}c$ each. It was confirmed that the thickness of smoke layer was maintained uniformly under the 25% height of tunnel through the visualized smoke flow by a laser sheet and the digital camcoder.

사실적인 배우의 연기를 데이터로 추출하기 위해 모션캡쳐라는 장비를 이용하는데 추출된 데이터는 여전히 많은 후수정이 필요로 하고 있다. 모션의 보정이나 떨림, 그리고 디테일 수정 외에도 캐릭터들이 가방을 메거나, 물건을 들었다 놨다하는 경우에 모션 데이터들은 오브젝트들과의 실감나는 접촉을 만들기 위해 애니메이팅과 리깅의 작업이 필요하다. 또한 작업물이 게임엔진과 같은 타 소프트웨어로의 이동이 필요한 경우가 많아 작업공정이 복잡하게 되고 있다. 이는 상대적으로 모션캡쳐 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 업체들이 줄어들게 만드는 원인이 되고 있어 최근의 세계적인 영상콘텐츠 시장의 상황과는 대조적인 현상이라 할 수 있다. 이에 사실적인 디지털더블의 구현을 위한 모션캡쳐 데이터 처리 공정을 사례를 통해 효율적인 공정을 제시해보고 현 상황을 분석해 보려하였다.

애니메이션 영화에 있어서 음악은 영화의 예술적 퀄리티를 향상시키는 도구가 되었다. 본 논문은 애니메이션 영화의 주제곡을 애니메이션에서 어떻게 연기할 수 있는지, 애니메이션 음악의 창작과 서사 간에 서로 밀접한 기능과 관계를 탐구한다. 이를 위한 연구는 첫째, 애니메이션과 음악에 대한 이론적인 고찰하며, 둘째 애니메이션 영화 <코코(Coco)>의 사례 분석하며, 주제곡 위주로 음악의 기능적 특징이 애니메이션으로 어떻게 표현되는지를 다룬다. 이에 주제곡은 주제 내용과 중심인물을 둘러싸고 일정한 음악적 이미지를 형성하고 주제를 심화기능을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있다.
