  • Our Country is working in a number of areas to prepare alternative plans for excelling in the 21 century`s which is also known as the era of services, unlike the era of manufacuring in the 20 century. Digital Content (DC) business is one of the alternative. This study is analyses tile process of healing DC as well as output of the process which is prodeuced by current DC developing companies. By this kind of process analysis, we will help process enhancement to produce wolrd-wide best DC product.

  • With the expansion of internet diffusion, the digital content industry in such sector game, animation and e-learning shows rapid growth and, accordingly it becomes important for policy makers to provide its technical R&D directions ensuring successful commercialization. This paper provides details on the business and industry assessment, and further, proposes substantial support over industries as well as academia. The Business Opportunity Engineering(BOE) process, revised and systemized assessment frame of the seven steps of SRIC-BI process, has been applied to assess and compare the digital content business and industry.

  • It is being emphasized that management of core process is another crutial factor in the development of a product, besides of management of quality factors for the product itself. The study purposes to introduce process quality concept to digital contents market, and also aimes at meauring of process maturity, based on level 2 and 3 of Capability Maturity Model, for domestic companies especially devoted to digital contents area. The result shows that the maturity level of most of companies surveyed is very low and that mobile and game fields are slightly more matured than animation field. The paper also proposes some of future efforts to be made fur improving maturity level of digital contents companies.

  • Recently, with the rapid development of digital media technology, Realistic content that stimulates users' five senses is being used in various fields. This study focused on the case of the development of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation's public relations center as the subject of the study to study the realistic content development process of public enterprises. First, the realistic content development process was divided into 10 stages and practical guidelines were presented to help develop realistic content in the future by presenting important development points and methods at each stage. Second, among the realistic content development processes, the importance of storytelling was analyzed at the scenario stage. Third, various methods of displaying content were analyzed. In the case of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation's public relations center, it was proposed in three ways: story video, experience video, and media wall. It is suggested that the role of branding, promotion, and PR can be performed in one public relations center through an effective development process.

  • This studied conceptional definition of digital contents and necessity of cultural contents by digital technology in progress. In addition, development process of cultural archetype digital contents based on ultimate idea and imagnation in our culture, refered from cultural archetype and digital content technology was offered by the study. Through abstraction of cultural archetype contents factor, this study deduced development model of digital contents extracted by value chain of cultural archetype contents.

  • 정부 각 부처의 적극적인 지원 정책에 힘입어 국내 e러닝 산업은 국내 디지털 콘텐츠 산업 시장에서 두번째로 큰 시장으로 성장하였고, 연평균 28% 이상의 빠른 성장세를 보이고 있다. 이러한 e러닝 산업에서 중요한 기본 요소 중 하나인 e러닝 콘텐츠를 효율적으로 개발하기 위한 프로세스의 마련은 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반적으로 활용되고 있는 교수 설계 모형인 ADDIE 모형을 분석하고, 이를 근간으로 하여 분석, 설계, 개발, 운영, 평가, 이상 5항목으로 구분하여 웹기반 e러닝 콘텐츠의 개발 프로세스 각각의 수행 내용을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 프로세스는 교육 콘텐츠의 목적이나 교수 학습 모형, 교수 학습 형태 등에 따라 적절히 변형하여 웹기반이 아닌 멀티미디어 학습 시스템이나 전통적인 학습 시스템의 경우에도 충분히 적용될 수 있다.

  • Most of electronic medical record systems which have been built in Korean hospitals are based on source oriented medical record approach. These systems hardly satisfy diverse objectives owing to the innate imperfections in system architecture and development methodology. Thus, the hybrid of source oriented and problem oriented approach is highly desirable. The purpose of this study is to present an architecture and methodology required to construct hybrid electronic medical record system and to develop a prototype based on them. Analyzing the clinical processes and data requirements of problem oriented medical record approach we developed a software process model as weel as an architecture model which consists of legacy system, clinical data repository, problem list database, prospective plan database, user interface, and synchronization procedures.

  • EPG (Electronic Program Guide), which was born with the development of digital broadcasting technology, is becoming a successful data service in the environment that a digital broadcasting station operates more than one hundred channels. In the circumstance, the request for the development or renewal of EPG frequently occurs and so the developers are looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the EPG development. This paper addresses the need of the developers by devising an EPG feature model based on FODA and the test-cases for each feature of the model. Utilizing the EPG feature model and the test-cases, the EPG development process, especially the phases of requirement analysing and test-case designing can be improved.

Considering that digital contents industry is the part of national growth engine, it is very important to make decision over technology development direction based on commercialization premises. This paper tries to give practical help over industries and academia through details industry analysis and assessment. The part of assessment tools which was originated from Standford Research Institute has been applied to compare and analyze the details industries.

  • Currently, software development methods have been advanced to service-oriented from component-oriented, to component-oriented from object-oriented. The component-oriented and service-oriented software development methods are analyzed by object-oriented UML model. So, the efficient analysis method for object-oriented UML model needs. In this paper, we suggest the analysis guideline and process based on event using Input Data-Process-Output Data Table for identifying use cases and classes efficiently. And the suggested method complements the problems depending the developer's perspective and experience.
